Small request this time. Can we get the church/temples to do something about all STD's and any [congenital/non-congen traits that affect a person's "attraction"]?

I believe STD's should be in game, and if left would be congenital, i even think there should be a boat load more in the game. But i want to see ways to get them treated as well. Done in an immersive way? I feel any religion that proliferates sex, should also try and do about those things that would make doing so difficult. Even go so far as making these traits sins (super mean i know, but if they have a way to treat it, then if someone still has it, it's their fault for not getting treated. )

 

The exception to these should be giant/dwarf and albino, as even now, we can't treat this, and some players like these and add mods to make them positive traits.

 

Treatments (no matter how you want them to do it) could either cost, gold, faith, or time. you could also do a realm bonus to temple buildings that slowly cure people over time so long as they are with in the realm. There could even be a "visit temple physician" in the right click of any character, that's in your realm to request them to go to the temple for treatment. You could also fork out for it if they cant afford it in some sort of event. This interaction should also be available to the player as well. 

 

This goes even deeper, if we look at the carnalities framework, and the traits they add. what treatments could be done for them, to at least "alleviate their troubles". Although im slightly disdain to think some of those traits as negative, after all i cant see having small breasts reduces fertility etc... but oh well. Common sense does not apply here  

 

 

Hmnn, treatment for STDs might be nice at some point, I'm playing with them disabled atm, but otherwise it could be neat.

 

I'm not sure about altering genetic traits, I was considering some way of encouraging beauty/large breasts/large dicks, but haven't settled on anything yet

My thought process was, "what a perfect antagonist other than other religions, than the afflictions that make worship difficult, and how it would be good if said religion had a way to fight a war against it.".

 

On a not on genetic traits, scaly could be turned into "treated skin" via the use of ointments. This would be a null trait, basically does nothing except replace the old scaly (which changes the character model) and mark a timer when to get treatment again at the temple. 

 

On the subject of carnality based, stuff, you could say "treat" people with small dicks etc, or give people the option to get god's blessing for a miracle alteration maybe? Technically though, i feel stuff like this, that has no negative "attraction" effect or negative fertility effect, should just be bred out normally with vanilla mechanics. This is until carnalities starts playing with character models. 

 

EDIT:

As i was writing this, i just got inspired by an idea... for the price of piety, you could have a "miracle" system that grands blessings and effects related to the activities and tenets of the Adroit religion. this "could" say give a set % increase chance to a random sexually related positive trait to be born from the guy/gal blessed by god.

I too am looking forward to the next update installment. However, i believe the content you're after is not within the scope of the mod. I could be wrong, but reading back, i believe there has been no indication of such.

Would it be possible to also have an age limit option? Something that shuffles them out once they reach a certain age. I would like all our female clerics to be young and beautiful, for example.

You should already be getting an event to replace them or you can decide to replace them manually.

For some reason I've not encountered that particular event yet, I wonder what triggers it. And yes, I can replace them manually but that is quite tedious for larger empires.

Could you make lilithism from Debauchery compatible with this?  They should probably be rivals and consider each other Evil. 

I also kind of wonder if they should refer to God as female, or at the least consider the Holy Spirit to be female, and place a bigger importance on it.

Nah, i've run into this too. My priest don't switch up but 69 year old is still pumping out good work.

it depends who decides your faiths clergy changes. if you set it as temporal, then you get spammed by events that asks you to change into younger model. other option is the set it as clergy's responsibility and then chicks will continue to work well past their prime

It works fine for me. Ignore the warning sign from the launcher. To be clear though, the mod only works if you turn on ritualistic prostitution. It's really fun.

This mod does indeed work with the newest update, but its incompatible with the new flavor mod for Carnalitas; Carnalitas Mundi . Is there an update on the way for compatibility?

Sorry, I've been busy with real life lately - and haven't had as much time/drive for ck3.

 

Apparently I'm incompatible with Carnalitas now!  That's a pretty big problem, looks like some pregnancy overrides were added to Carnalitas itself.  I'll look into patching that incompatibility.

 

For Carnalitas Mundi, I'm not certain, looking at it it seems like it's in a similar area as my mod, so I don't know how much compatibility is possible/needed, but I'll take a look.

EDIT:  IMPORTANT!  Delete the old version of AdroitReligion before loading the new one into your mods folder!  This is necessary because I had to rename a file!

 

Alright, I uploaded a new version which should be compatible with the latest version of Carnalitas.  I hadn't been able to get individual event overrides to work for me when I originally wrote the mod, but I learned from Cheri's pregnancy override and got it working/compatible with the one in Carnalitas.  As far as I can tell, things are working in full compatibility with Carn and the base game.

 

For Carnalitas Mundi, I took a look, and while it's not compatible with my AdroitReligionCustomChristianity submod, it seems like it should be compatible with my base mod.  I've also added a check in my AdroitReligion mod to look for Cheri's "Sacred Prostitution" tenent as a valid tenet to unlock my "Ritual Prostitution" doctrine.  If you'd like compatibility between the two mods, I'd suggest just not using AdroitReligionCustomChristianity, just AdroitReligion and Carnalitas Mundi. 

 

I haven't been able to test this suggestion yet, but I'll try to do so in the next day or so.

 

I likely won't be able to devote much time to new feature adds here in the near future, but I'll try to keep up better with compatibility.  Sorry for any annoyance or disappointment!

Hey so I updated the mod like you said to by deleting the old files and in the launcher it still has that little warning triangle that says the mod needs game version 1.0.3. Is this just a small gui bug or what?

Did you delete the .mod files too?  That's what that check is based off of.  If you're still getting the message, I may not have set the value correctly.

I feel like the event to add lustful to your clergy is too expensive. 100 piety to just add a personality trait of some chick is not worth it. I suggest 20 or at most 50 piety.

 

Also, since there is so many ways to reduce stress, I'd appreciate an event that gives stress but has a sex oriented theme. An example would be if you've had a rough day and you go home and you bang your wife / husband and then you realize your son / daughter is watching and this causes you stress. idk

 

I'd also like an event that gives the lustful trait to me and my relatives and children. But separately, of course.

Just because the red triangle appears, it doesn't necessarily make it incompatible with the newest version. Sometimes, the new versions of CK3 only include bugfixes and other minor whatnot.
