mystyx Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 I've been trying to track down an issue lately and have started removing some older mods that I don't really need anymore and haven't gad any real problems identifying which .esp is from which mod. Except when it comes to boshd.esp I know it seems silly but I just can't remember where it came from. Did a few internet searches with no results. Would someone please refresh my memory on this one ?
agiz19 Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 well you can click boshd.esp in the right pane of Mod Organizer and it will show you to which mod esp belongs.., You can also search in win explorer to see in which folder it is... ?
spoonsinger Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 If you arn't using Mod Organizer - Load the BosHD.esp into xEdit and look at the file header to see who the author is and if there is a description. (Also you could get a good idea of what it does by just looking at the entries in xEdit. i.e. does it change/add NPC's, fiddle with level lists, add/chance armor/weapon records, etc).

Since I'm trying to get some new and improved mods for these I guess it's safe enough to go ahead and remove the boshd Thanks for the ideas and input
anjenthedog Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Or just do a wide net search for bos hd or go to nexus and do the same. fed meet spoon
mystyx Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 Tried that one too, only thing I found that was close was Beauties Of Skyrim HD, but according to Nexus I never downloaded that mod, I went ahead and downloaded it anyway just to see what the esp was labeled as, but didn't notice any changes in the list of plugins, still the same number as before so I'm gonna guess I may have installed it long ago before I started using a mod manager. Only thing I can think of
robcaro Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 It is the BOS HD texture for Sofia Follower
Just Don't Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 But you're using MO... Just check the Data tab in the right panel. There you can find the .esp file and the mod associated to it in the Mod Column, then it's just a matter of checking that mod in the left panel. Or better yet, if you select the esp in the loadorder you'll get the associated mod in the left panel highlighted. The only case where this wouldn't work is if you have that mod installed manually into your actual game folder. In which case shame on you >: /
