SLSF Fame Comments Reloaded

Awesome mod idea!

Some thoughts:

- Even its kinda awesome SLSF tracks all holds separately. Since dragonborn is kind of local celebrity. This fame should somehow be scattered. You shouldnt be able to run away from your fame just by going to another town.

- Note sure if you already thought of this but:  Perhaps followers of kynareth etc (aedra maybe some daedra too) would frown upon you because you made sin.

- It would go very complex and don't think its good to include in this mod but it would be also cool if these fames could have more complex side effects like:

 1) Your spouse would hear you were whoring then she/he would either be mad about it or totally in with it :D

 2) Some NPCs that you would fuck with could become jealous either whining for sex or sending some bandits to capture you.

 3) If you played succubus character maybe these fames worked against you. Aka people would not want to fuck with you. -- This could be simplified to idea that if people knew you fucked a lot they might avoid you because STDs. Not sure if it completely fucked many logics but this could be maybe implemented with cloud that basically caused 'semi-fear' to npcs that would run away if they would recognize you and if they were 'pure'

Anyway delightful mod! Thanks

Will there be an LE version eventually?

I don't have an LE setup to try it on, and don't know much about modding, but I would give it a try with the LE version of SexLab Sexual Fame.  This mod is very simple. It might work.

SLSF does allow for fame spread (called "Contage" by the SLSF author) to other areas of Skyrim. You can set the fame level at which fame spread is triggered (default is 15 I think) and you can set the base chance of fame spread to other towns. So, depending on how you set the SLSF MCM, you won't be able to run away from your fame.

Yes, good idea about specific priest reactions. Currently, the only priest programming is that Priestesses of Dibella don't comment. (It just seemed really wrong to get negative comments about nudity and lesbian sex from them, so this was my simple fix.)  But this would be a nice area to expand.  I wanted to get a sense from folks if this version caused a performance hit of any kind before expanding. Works fine on my system, but you never know.

As for spouses, I hadn't even thought of them, but I am reluctant to include followers, or spouse/followers, especially custom ones, as there are so many and with so many different personalities, and it seemed wrong to put words in their mouth, especially the ones with extensive dialog already. I had a test version with follower comments, but I just never got happy with the way it played.

As for triggering events, I would love to do that, but I don't know enough about modding to do it. This is my first mod and, thanks to the SLSF framework, it's actually very simple. I have no knowledge of scripts. Maybe someone else would pick up such an expansion?

Anyway glad you like it. If you run across any typos or bugs, or have any other suggestions, please let me know.

I'm planning to get LE soon so maybe I could try it?

You should put some screenshots in your file page, so people could see the mod in action.

installed it on LE. Game loads fine, there seems to be additional remarks about my character now. No MCM menu to check further so I don't know but, from the little I know about the differences between SE/LE mods, since there aren't any animations (or any game version specific binaries for that matter) bundled with it this should pretty much work out of the box.

Thanks for checking. Yes, it should be fine. I was just hesitant to call it compatible with LE without checking. It might take a bit for fame to accumulate enough to get fame comments, but if you want to test the mod just strip down and head to the nearest Inn. Should get plenty of comments.

I think in Slaverun there was an extension that worked very similarly and also works without Slaverun itself. There were also thousands of dialogs of this kind.

SexLab - Sexual Fame Framework version 0.95+ by Versh (for the OPTIONAL slaverun comments.esp)
Slaverun comments.esp is is an standalone esp which can be used with slaverun or without, it uses collected fame of the sexual fame framework to let npc make comments, for example when you are seen with devious devices or be well known to have sex with animals, argonians, orcs....

I'd read that Slaverun was one of the few mods to make use of SLSF. Didn't know that the comments part was a standalone mod. I looked and can't seem to find the separate comments file on LL. Do you know where to find it? Do you know if it works on SE?

The file is included in the Slaverun archive. Just download, extract, find and delete the rest.
Had worked for me with SE, but I had also downloaded the SE version ;)

would be cool if you could cater the messages to different tastes - more/less degrading comments, change general disposition towards certain types (make oral sex taboo, have bestiality be considered normal, ect.)

It's a good idea, but would require an MCM, and I assume some scripting as well. So, currently beyond my skill, but I plan to keep learning. The current mod does use Skyrim's built in relationship rank system to determine whether to trigger the harshest comments, but generally does assume everyone is conservative about sex and nudity, at least in public.

Thanks. I downloaded the SE version, and extracted the Slaverun Reloaded Comments .esp file, took a look at it in the CK, and also ran it in game alongside my SLSF Fame Comments mod.  The Slaverun Reloaded Comments mod has both device comments and fame comments. The device comments are impressive in number (1847) but I couldn't get them to trigger wandering around an Inn for an hour wearing only a blindfold and an armbinder. Looking at the CK, it appears they check some "SLV" variables that may be set in the Slaverun mod. On the other hand, the SLSF-fame-based comments in the Slaverun Reloaded Comments mod (254 fame comments) work fine, and they cover fame types not currently supported by my mod (Argonian, Khajiit, Orc, Sub/Slave), but I was a bit disappointed that they all trigger at a fame level of 10 or 20, depending on fame type, with no escalation of comments with increasing fame. Also, there's no relationship rank control over friendly or harsh comments, so the same NPC could deliver both. Also, nudity, cum, bondage and active sex don't influence the fame comments. As for the fame comments themselves, I liked some, but I found others a bit vague, others too specific, and many had grammar issues.  Also, many of the expressions were too modern to be immersive for my particular tastes.  So, it works for SLSF fame comments, but has some limitations.

Contage is easy solution. But good its there. Was thinking something like 'travellers' or 'travelling saleman' spreading rumours. To prevent conflicts think it would have to be written in some kind of own event and well its more or less SLSF stuff. If such travellers would be implemented they could even speak to people around you and point out with finger that 'that is the slut I was talking about.'

Not sure how Dibellan lore goes but I would guess that lesbian sex was only for training. That priestess would act heterosexually after that. Its impossible to check I guess but well 'training' lesbian sex should not count towards their negativity for you. Not sure how you solved it but will keep eye out when I encounter dibellan followers.

If you would like to implement spouse / follower stuff. It becomes really complicated but well if you liked to comment be somehow from the follower. You could check race (vampirires etc..), class... Anyhow its complicated.

I would like to mod but I simply dont have the time for it. Hope that there are other people that like to do it. :/

And np, great work! Have fun with it.

So is this LE compatible? If it is, the Modder should put that in the file page.

Done. Based on Inawen_ll's test, it is. So I updated the file page.

this - for me at least - triggers the "you need to leave" bug, which gets you thrown out of even your own player homes. the only other mod that reliably triggered this bug was "follow me for sex", which i also had to uninstall.

does anyone else get that bug?

I haven't seen that, but I doubt it's the SLSF Fame Comments mod itself, which is about as conflict-free as you can get (no scripts, no changes to any game objects, quests or dialogue).  It could be the underlying SexLab Sexual Fame framework mod, and that's a requirement for this Fame Comments mod of course, so I use that for all my tests and playthroughs and haven't seen that either.  (And, I haven't seen any reports of that on the SLSF thread.)  I also haven't seen that with the Follow Me for Sex mod, which I have used a lot with vanilla player homes like Breezehome and Proudspire.  I stopped using Follow Me for Sex because it was buggy, but not the bug you mention.

I'll check it out on my system. Does this bug trigger in all homes, vanilla homes, Hearthfire homes, custom homes, or some combination?

Finally, modders started to use my favorite Framework-mod! Thank you, now there is also a reason to return to Skyrim.

You're welcome. Hope you like it. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement. Next up, special comments for Priestesses of Dibella, and SLSF Skooma fame comments.

The mod's comments will only trigger for a female PC. I put that in as a condition check so that players could switch back and forth between male and female PCs without having to disable the mod for male PCs. So, you can have the mod enabled for a male PC, but it basically disables itself for a male PC and won't generate any comments.

I did that because the comments were written with a female PC in mind, and a lot of the comments are just not going to work for a male PC. Some (many, most?) of the comments would actually also make sense for a male PC, but many of them would not.  For the mod to work with a male PC, I would probably need to create an entirely new set of comments.  As an example, with a female PC, the SLSF 'Likes Woman' fame becomes a set of lesbian comments. For a male PC, that would be different of course.  Other fame categories are tricky too. For example, with a female PC, one can assume that the PC is on the receiving (submissive) end of the activity that gives rise to SLSF 'Anal' fame.  With a male PC, there's no way to know whether the PC is dominant or submissive. This becomes I suppose a more generic gay sex category.  Visible cum would be another thing that reads differently (i.e., gay) on a male PC vs. a female PC. Also, a few of the current comments in the mod are very female specific, making reference to more feminine things like spreading legs, being bred, carrying a baby, or voluptuous breasts.

So, while many of the comments would work just fine as is for a male PC, there are so many that would be completely wrong in that context. I suppose I could go through the almost 800 comments and put a male PC condition exclusion on just the ones that don't work for a male PC. But I think really the better approach would be an entirely new set of comments for a male PC. If there is interest, I could put some more thought to it.

Also, if you have any comments on the comments, please feel free to pass them along.  It's a tricky balance between covering all the sexual bases yet avoiding modern terms and trying not to be too misogynistic.
