I thought about making it for myself by simply removing all references to ZAP in SSEEdit but I wasn't sure what some of them do and was worried that it will be a broken mess if I do it this way.

Coming very soon.

I just uploaded version 1.3 of Fame Comments Reloaded.  Changes are as follows:

  • Removed Dibellan Whore of Markarth quest
  • Removed ZaZ dependency
  • Removed Skooma comments
  • Corrected/completed hooks into SLSF Reloaded to increment Whore, Masochist, Unfaithful, and Cuck fame levels based on Fame Comments events
  • Cleaned mod

Why remove the Markarth quest?

Because it fits better in the Dibella's Love quest I am working on (and will reappear there in an improved form). It's the first quest mod I ever wrote, and it's frankly pretty crudely put together. Also, because I think this mod should remain a dedicated dialogue/relationship mod. Quest mods require world changes, and world changes cause conflicts. As a more pure dialogue mod, this mod is essentially conflict free. And also because voice generation is getting better and better, but this mod has a huge amount of lines and voices, and trimming the quest out will help some.

Why remove the ZaZ dependency?

It was never the focus of the mod. Legacy SLSF had it as a dependency, so I figured why not use it. Also, removing the Markarth quest removed some of the key places it was used (i.e.,  "cover self" animation, masturbation idle marker). And, it's a lot of overhead considering very little of it is used. That doesn't mean it's all gone, however, The rope bindings were swapped with the vanilla player bindings, and two ZaZ items were pulled into the mod (per ZaZ permissions). The hoods were lost, however. And chastity devices lost their keywords, so they won't block sex. I think probably simple ZaZ/DD patches can be made to add those keywords back to the devices for ZaZ/DD users.

Why remove Skooma comments?

Because the next version of SLSF Reloaded won't support Skooma fame.

So, this may seem a step backwards to some, but it will focus the mod better and set it up better for the next project, which is the huge job of trying to reorganize the mod around voice types (and their associated personalities) -- so every line in the mod can't be spoken by dozens of voices -- for voice generation / voice file size purposes.

I was thrilled to see the new update, but then noticed the Dibella quest removed...
but then I read your post stating that you are cooking something entirely new where it's going to be used....
so I guess I'm kind of thrilled again? 🤔

Is this mod made for female PCs?
It doesn't seem to work for male PCs.

Can this mod and SLSF Reloaded be installed mid-playthrough? I did not use them before, for them it will be clean install. Dependencies are present.

Just wanted to ask, do you have any special stuff planned for Serana? Quests for her as a companion, or perhaps as a SLSFC spouse?

The Dibella's Love quests already exists, in a introductory form:  https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/47915-dibellas-love-vow-of-nudity-beta-leseae/

I've managed to move the Markarth Dibella quest into it already, but it needs clean up and expansion.

Do we need a new game?

Thank you.

No. But if you are mid playthrough of the Dibella quest, don't upgrade until you are finished. Also, if you have been named the Dibellan whore of Markarth, and don't want to be any longer, be sure and speak to the Jarl before you upgrade.

No. Not at this time.

I just checked with a F-F relationship and the animations worked for me.  What relationship type do you have set? Have they never worked?

I tried multiple marriage types to check if the issue persists. Other mods trigger F-F animations just fine, its only this mod that's giving me trouble. I'm using Sexlab P+ so I don't know if that's a problem.

I'll talk to my spouse, choose my options, get a message about the horker tusk, then nothing happens, and if I talk to my spouse again they act like we just had sex.

can you not marry mjoll or serana?

Mjoll can be married in vanilla if you complete her quest, but Serana cannot. Serana can only be married if you have a mod that allows you to do that.

As explained - you have to finish Mjoll's quest before you can marry her. You won't get any marriage dialogue for her until you finish her quest.

Serana is not marriable in the vanilla game - you still need another mod (like Marry me Serana) in order for her to be eligible for marriage, and even then you have to complete the Dawnguard questline before this is possible

The marriage system in this mod simply bypasses the whole Temple of Mara ceremony system, but doesn't remove vanilla game requirements to make an npc eligible for marriage.

If you haven't completed Mjoll's questline, you can't marry her

If you haven't completed the Dawnguard questline, and don't have another mod making her eligible, you can't marry Serana

i have completed mjolls quest and i have completed dawnguard. i have a mod to be able to marry serana. i just want to know if the marriage features of this mod work for them because i dont get the marriage dialogue option from this mod for them. i have the rings you need and i get the dialogue option for other npcs. i get the vanilla marriage dialogue option when wearing an amulet of mara. i also tried marrying serana to see if i got the dialogue option to mark a vanilla spouse as a spouse of this mod but i didnt.

It should... I'd have to say my version of SLSFC was old at the time... I think ver 3.64 was in at the time when I married her. I don't think @Gristle changed very much in the marriage dialog since then.

I have Marry Me Serana in my load and I had the dialog to marry her but I did marry Serana via the temple of Mara. SLSFC recognizes Serana as my wife ever since...  Serana is decked out in dialog due... SDA, Spouses Enhanced, heck Amourous Adventures is in this load... SLSFC still shows up in the arms length of dialog she has.

I still have the dialog to "end our marriage" option from this mod as you can see.

So it should have the option to marry her ... I remember it being there.

In any case my understanding is that if you marry anyone via this mod, or through the vanilla temple, this mod recognizes the spouse. I have the "Spouse likes to share PC" option set and she make comments about that.

@Gristle once explained to me how the marriage system works really in depth ... it's likely burried way back in the posts here.

BTW... I don't know if others know this but Serana also had her own dialog quests in SLSFC for the comments.

i figured it out. i use kuronerinkas character replacers and followers. i dont get the dialogue for any of them, i think he uses some kind of custom race for them so i guess thats why it doesnt work.

There were other gamers who had that issue with custom race follower mods.

If a mod has a custom race you can open the mod in SSeEdit, look at the race record and mark the race as "Playable" - That's a check SLSFC uses to see if a npc is marriage eligible.
