Sleestak Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Hello all! I recently bought the GTW expansion so I could run a Strip Club. I put one together, and all was well until I tried to expand my employees. The code just wouldn't work, no matter what number I put in. I tried to copy & paste, move text around, ect, but nothing worked. I know it's something I'm doing wrong, and not the code. Perhaps something in-game I need to do first? Thanks for any input!

You should post the code so others could look at it, just because it works for one thing and not the other doesn't mean that its correct. coding is a unforgiving... i just realized i finished my sandwich... game and it is completely unforgiving. 2. define expand my employees, random sims taken during game play, sims created for the mod, or other 3. Code works until expand part, how long does it work and when does it start/run/end Pythus, Still hungry.

It almost sounds like you are trying to write a mod to change the number of employees. WW includes a cheat code to change the number of employees and will allow you to have up to 12 dancers... code ... is that the code you are talking about? ww.set_stripclub_dancers_employee_limit # Just change the # to the total number of employees you want. IE: ww.set_stripclub_dancers_employee_limit 8 This will set the total number of Dancers to 8. There is no command to change the number of Janitors though. After you change the number then you will need to hire a couple more Dancers. It works just fine for me but I was thinking, I have testing cheats always on. Maybe it needs testing cheats on and you have them off. Try using this command first. testingcheats on

Not being snarky, just from experience I use MCCC and I have it set to auto turn on testingcheats when it loads and keeps them on, that way I never have to worry about it. TwistedMexi also has a small mod which turns them on and keeps them on for those who do not use MCCC or do for some reason do not want to use the setting in MCCC.

Ive built a strip club as well and the only option to hire a stripper is my own sim via phone. I am not able to mange the club, expand any employees nor create the uniforms. so the club is useless. If anyone can assist as I too believe it s something Ive done or have included . if anyone can assist this would be great
njsimmer Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 I've had a really good strip club for awhile now, so this addition to hire etc. was a great addition. Everything works as it should but I can't add additional dancers using the ww.set_stripclub_dancers_employee_limit # cheat. I've tried on numerous occasions but nothing works and, yes I do make sure testing cheats in on. What seems to happens is that it either changes or adds more potential hires but doesn't allow them to actually be hired and there are no additional spots for them in the employee section. If anyone else is having this problem or found a work around, please let me know.

In any case Turbodriver will likely fix it only for the current version unless the bug sits in front of the computer. One should always include the TS4 and WW version when reporting issues. I don't suggest to update yet unless you use only WW + animations as other mods and CC may break.

While I'm aware that existing mods may interfere with the operation of newly added programs, I always keep all programs and mods up to date and check for updates on a daily basis. It's rare for me to have a problem. If I'm the only one with the problem, then it's a conflict . If others have it then it may be a global issue which is why I put out a call here. However, I don't find obvious and snide remarks helpful at all.

Was it disbled? 12 is the max dancers allowed for strip clubs. The game has a default limit of 20 sims on a lot or in zone. Strip Clubs need other employees too like a Bar Tender and maybe Cleanup Crew, (and Prostitutes if you have Wicked Perversions installed). How many spots are left out of the 20 now for Customers. Remember a couple of sims are wandering around the neighborhood too. MCCC mod can increase the default limit of 20 per lot to like 30 instead but it could cause game lag if you don't have a good PC to handle the extra sims. I wouldn't go above 35 though.
