evilblade Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Hi there, people! I was looking all over the internet and couldn't find an answer, so maybe you can help me out?.. The thing is - I'm using "Go to bed" mod and I clearly remember that after the animation of me laying down my follower did the same automatically and spooned with my character even if it was a single bed or bedroll and after the waking (s)he got up after me (again with the animation).. Then I didn't have any followers with me for quite some time and when I do get her/him again - I find out that sleeping thing just doesn't happen anymore. I lay down and (s)he is just standing like a moron near the bed even if it's a double bed!.. Oh, forgot to mention I also had "Double Beds for spooning" installed somewhere in the far past.. Anyway, if I enter the command mode and tell my follower to sleep in bed - if it's a doublebed (s)he lays down and spoons and if it's a singlebed - (s)he says "Can't do that sorry". "But you COULD before!!" - I shout out loud... erm, sorry.. Anyway, maybe some of you know why did this happen? Wich mod could potentially (un)cause this type of behavior? Will be much obliged.

evilblade Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Well, I remembered them.. And I also remeber installing them wich didn't help. See, actually this is not the first time I have this issue.. The problem is not per say that my followers won't spoon but that thay don't go to sleep automatically. I've had this on and off several times in the last few years as I remember it.. Thought maybe someone knows why EXACTLY this thing happens but.. oh well

I clearly remember my follower laying down a second maybe 2 after me! In the same bed! Damn it, I even recall TWO followers doing it both sides of me How did it work and why doesn't it anymore - that's what puzzles the hell out of me. UPD: The way I understand it - my laying down kinda "commanded" my follower(s) to do the same, and now it doesn't
VersuchDrei Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 A bit of research told me you'll need the "go to bed addon" (not to be confused with "go to bed", as it's an addon for that) so that your followers will go to bed when you do, which is no longer available on the nexus because the author deleted their account. However someone did share it here: Somewhere else in the post it was said that it's not compatible with newer versions of go to bed. Maybe that's what's causing your issues.

And it's the exact same version.. OK, at least now I know wich mod makes this follower-sleeping possible at all. Thanks for the tip man, will do some more digging into the matter..
evilblade Posted August 22, 2020 Author Posted August 22, 2020 YES!!! IT WORKS!!! ? Thanks for the tip about that "AddOn" mod, Skitskurr, you are awesome!! All I got to do - is "re-install" this mod (turn it off -> load the game, ignoring the warning -> save the game -> turn it back on -> load the game) and voila! And yes! That's exactly as I remember it - the follower lays down with my character even in a single-bed or a bedroll.. the only thing is - it lays upside-down and higher in a bedroll ...but as I recall now - it was always this way with the rolls. Anyway - thanks A LOT, guys!!!
