Aylis Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Try using 'gender specific' (or similar) patch. Also you got creature mentioned in there, so it could be a good idea to add FNIS creature as well.
Enaganalf Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Ok so I installed FNIS Creatures and I check the Gender Specific thing and now it say this FNIS Behavior V7.6 21/08/2020 22:30:29 Skyrim SE 64bit: 1.5.97.0 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ (Steam) Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) male: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) Patch: "GENDER Specific Animations" Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Reading ABBA V1.00 ... That is telling you that you do not need the GENDER Specific Animations ticked as you do not have any gender specific animations. Not having any is not an error or problem. Which mod manager are you using? If it's MO or MO2 then double-check you have FNIS correctly set up with the mod manager. Check your AV is not blocking anything to do with FNIS.
Aylis Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Do you have the rights to change/write in that folder? Not that the files are write protected.
Enaganalf Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Ok so I found that there is some files missing in my FNIS SE folder that I installed in MO2, those are the files that FNIS "Could not generate"(As we can see in the errors lines), so when I noticed that I went to the FNIS SE nexus download page and I checked the files preview menu and I seen that those files were normally in FNIS SE after the downloading. Then I download it I copy the files and I pasted them in the folder they belong in my FNIS SE that I've installed on MO2. I launched FNIS SE with the former missing files and I kept an eyes on my FNIS SE folder so I could see what the f is he doing with the files and so I've seen that he's deleting the files whithout replacing them, after all the files were deleted the errors lines cames with the same speech. Here is some pic to explain a bit, be careful /!\ baguette warning /!\ Here is the path for those folders once you're the FNIS SE folder [FNIS Behavior SE 7_6\Meshes\actors\character] Behavior Folder Before Update Behavior Folder After Update Characters Folder After Update (srry for wrong order) Characters Folder Before Update Characters female Folder After Update Characters female Folder Before Update
Grey Cloud Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 You are doing something fundamentally wrong with how or where you are installing and configuring FNIS. I don't use MO2 (or run SE) but you should not have anything in your data folder. Have you watched any tutorials on how to install FNIS with MO2? The file path in the FNIS archive will not be the same as where MO installs it to. MO2 uses it's own virtual folder system and does not use anything that is in the actual Skyrim data folder. 24 minutes ago, Flanagane said: Here is the path for those folders once you're the FNIS SE folder [FNIS Behavior SE 7_6\Meshes\actors\character] You are misreading that. The actual path is Data\Meshes\actors\character\behaviours [Note: MO2 will use its virtual equivalent] All I have in my Data\FNIS folder is a readme and an example .psc file.
CPL254 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Maybe it's your anti-virus program on your system that is deleting those files? Here is how I configured my MO2. 1. Install MO2 outside the "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program files (x86)" folders. I created a new folder "C:\MO2" 2. Go to the "Virus & Threat Protection" under the Windows Setting, and create an exclusion rule, so that the system won't perform any real time scanning.
Enaganalf Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 Hi, so I decided to reinstall MO2 and get all the things and mods I had, so I found that before I installed SexLab Aroused Redux everything was working fine, all the animations but then, once I installed it, FNIS started to do the same error and even if I uninstall SexLab Aroused Redux it does the same eror ove and over...
erasornator Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Hello, Sorry to up an old subject, but since this is the only subject I’ve found who’s talking about it, I thought it might help. I recently had the same problem as Flanagane A number of files in F: SKYRIM MODDING/ModOrganizer/SkyrimSE/mods/FNIS_Behavior_SE_7_6/Meshes/actors/character/behaviors had completely disappeared from it. with the same errors he had. I tried to reinstall FNIS but without any results, I also tried with the firewall, but without results. Sometimes it is said that the simplest solution is the one that works, so I just unzip the mod, I recovered the files in question and I copied them into the folder where they are supposed to be. I restarted FNIS and everything worked normally. I don’t know if that definitely solves it for me but anyway it did the job. Also, I don’t think the problem comes from sexlab Aroused or other mods associated with sexlab because they are not activated in my home and I still had the bug. Looking at it in more detail, I found that when FNIS does its work, it deletes each file from the folder and delivers it at the end of its work. It’s a bit like taking them, using them and putting them back when the work is done. Maybe I had a bug with the program and it didn’t put them back at the end. I hope it can help. and sorry for the English mistakes. This is not my native language.
