Best body textures i've seen yet.

Despite being almost turned away by the 'Mature' description of the texture in its header, I took a look, and found one of the best body textures i've ever seen in a game, let alone just Skyrim. It honestly makes the women look real, as opposed to like airbrushed porn stars produced in factory. Small blemishes that rather than drawing the eye simply add to the realism. Visible veins under the skin in just the right places, like on the inner thigh, and buttocks. Actual texture to the skin and face, including variation in tone, as opposed to super-smooth.

I didn't see a thread for it, so I thought i'd direct others towards it incase they haven't seen it.

Aha, my bad then. Would a mod kndly delete this thread? I don't see the option to do it myself. :)

wish have that for CBBE, alot cute clothes are also for unp and textures also, thinking change for that...

that texture isn't realistic at all without ENB> it's made for ENB. gosh I don't understand why people are so stupid to claim it's realistic.

I dont understand why people are so stupid and call a realistic texture that is made for ENB unrealsitic, if they don't use ENB...

My definition of realistic is definition and the level detail that can be squeezed into set resolutions. This mods is realistic in terms of it looks, like natural skin that has a variety of ruggedness options. It does however loose it's definition and detail the closer you get to small details that were blended and hand painted in over dimon99 UNP's original. ENB doesn't really do anything for textures apart from creating the illusion of depth, sharp, blur, shine and colour enhancing to say a few. The original detail of the resolution will always remain the same.

There is only one guy I know now of that may have textures that might beat dimon99 and these at some point now, that's this character companion http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13174-wip-the-forever-darkness-project/

I have to agree, it is one of the most realistic and attractive textures I'm aware of.  I wish more modders would look to this example for inspiration; too many of them seem to turn Skyrim's female bodies into nothing but shiny plastic dolls.  Not that I don't appreciate their work, but this skin blows so many of the others out of the water.  Real human skin has ruggedness and imperfection to it that lends it character, and this Mature Skin does a fantastic job at emulating that.

I use that skin texture, (it's right there in my avatar) and I love it. The only thing is I had to use the texture blender for it, the neck and body are two different colors in the sun, the neck has a bit of a red tint to it, but in any interior light, it looks perfect. Go figure. All in all, the best skin texture out there.

Im not really a fan of it, as it says, its more "mature". But its probably more lore fitting than any other Ive seen.

I honestly just like Sporty Sweaty Skin. It gives your character some nice detail too :)

It's true!!! High quality and lore-friendly as well. Skyrim character is made to be more mature, it really fit well.

Actually I know about this skin for some time, but never tried before. Your post convinced me, downloaded, tested and I'm falling in love!

I have a question for those of you very familiar with this skin: can it be used on top of any of the sporty skins that increase muscle tone, or am I limited to one or the other?

I think the skin is alright. There are more realistic looking skins on the nexus though.

I like the various imperfections and such though. I'd actually be using it, but there's a few details i don't like. Like the nipple color. I guess it was made for only light characters. With darker characters the nipples are pretty much invisible which just looks disturbing to me, lol.

Its not perfect of course but the detail level for performance trade off is pretty insane. Navetsea is probably the single best body texture for CBBE or UNP that there is, but it just rapes your memory horribly. That might not be a problem for some people but I've got 16GB of RAM and while I know Skyrim can only, in theory, use up to 4 of that, it never does, it consistently and constantly freezes when exceeding 1.8GB load...so anything I can shave off without losing too much quality is pure gold as far as I'm concerned.

Actually if you are using a tool like cleanmem (I'll let you google that) you should not run into any problems using 2k or even 4k textures. I personally have no such problems with 2K textures packs + Zonzai textures + Amidianborn textures.

I do agree that Skyrim sucks at memory usage tho but I am pretty sure they did not expected the game to be modded that far on the visual layer (not counting that it was also released to be able to kinda run on PS3 and XBOX 360), with ENB and good textures it is still the best looking game on PC IMHO.
