Whenever the hollow gets a buff or stress, the symbols appear below her and not above her head. 

it is a problem with the new skeleton for the combat animation that I added (made by Jefuty); it is normal for that to happen, I consider it harmless and not so annoying; you'll get used to it

Using the Dragon Mistress  Anaertailin skin and having an odd issue. Shocking Blow causes white boxes to appear where effects should be, any idea what could be causing the issue?
Edit: It's only with the NSFW version of the skin, works fine with the SFW skin.

go to the Mistress_A folder, inside i leave some executables; drag the .png images over them and it will be solved

How do I replace Dragon Mistress with anaertailin one?

 

I start with default Dragon Mistress 1.5. mod, then I extract files from **DM - New skin (anaertailin)**. I end up with **heroes** and **audio** folders which I put in og DM folder and let them overwrite.

 

I can see her profile picture but when clicking on her she is just a white box. She is also like that in dungeon.

A follow up question, because I have no idea what I'm doing. To use the 2 exe files you left in with each skin. Do I have to highlight all the files the drag it onto the exe? or can I just open the exe and itll find and do its job with all the PNG thats in the folder?

"Assets in Darkest Dungeon need to be exported with transparency settings. 'Gimp' does this automatically, but for Photoshop we recommend the 'SuperPNG' plugin. Additionally, two programs can be used to trim the masks from PNG files and to remove the alpha colour layer.

 

To use these two programs, drag and drop your PNG file onto each of the exe files. Though no dialogue will appear, they will have done their job."

I dunno if you can drag multiple files at the same time but you can always test if it works.

you have to drag one by one; only use it if you see that the sprites have white squares

Great work on Rugal, i never used the og so i can't say i know the changes, but i'm enjoying the character, I also tried using the Aberration changes you made and i really liked it, it kept it similar to og and different at same time, kinda like natural evolution variation... buuuuuut of course i have to complain about something because who would i be if not annoying and stupid.

 

Anyway, i felt like Rugal was kinda weak on early ranks because of how unfocused the targeting is with all the moving around from both sides (meaning you can't focus on a single enemy reliably, especially bad on first position enemy), so i upped the dmg modifier on transformation using level5 as base and goal and added slot target 1 to his last skill to prevent having to press move because i attacked last turn, also similarly with Aberration, Slam>Rage combo is bad against single slot power house enemies, so i added slot 1 as target for slam, and unlike Rugal, Aberration has a huge power up with ranks, i feel like she is better than Lilith even on long runs because of the buffs, so i used level2/3 as base and added/removed 5% from dmg modifiers on the other levels.

 

I made those changes because i really have some mods that add single slot enemies with huge health pool and high priority targets that would make even release Earth Enchanter Beta have trouble. That being said, is it possible to add bonus damage depending on position? Would make Rage very interesting if i added something like that.

 

Also also, the perk Rugal gets on transformation, it doesn't show to lock/remove, does that mean she can have 6 perks?

thanks, it seems to me that there is a command that allows you to modify the damage by position of the enemies, however I did not investigate it thoroughly and it seems to me that you have to additionally modify the .effects and .buff files; you can research on your own and add it; It is present in the earth encanter and shrapnel mods, I think.

 

Rugal in any mode of his transformations is always going to get benefits (unless you delete them in his .info file), which I have nerfed and limited to only 2 rounds (1 rd in game), so it will hardly accumulate and convert it into something OP.

 

flamethrower, I have nerfed it since it attacks 3 positions at the same time, apart from it it can cause extra damage.
If you want more damage, just increase the default damage that appears at the beginning of the class or for each skill.

 

counterattack, is the skill that you have to use, for the first lines; protect an ally (I recommend that you protect the front line allies) and give rispote for 3 rounds I set it to -60% damage you can change it to -40 if you want extra damage or put it to 0 if you want something OP; apart gives extra bleeding; some of his abilities have a 10% chance to give you an extra action; before it was 25% but if you criticize they would give you up to 3 extra rounds, nerfed

 

All these balances are based on my game, as additional data I have a life modifier x 0.8, so any enemy has almost double life. Note that you can also equip mods trinkets OP i recommend this one (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1882264198); You can also boost it with other heroes, so there will always be ways to get extra damage; that's why I chose those values.

I want to change damage based on position of the performer, for example, a rush in that has +10/0/-10% damage modifier depending on the 321 position of the performer, this would actually open an oportunity to make other interesting changes. Liking or not mods added way too many things that make certain vanilla setups unfit or plain useless, i love crusader and leper, but the lack of reliable enemy backrow targeting made me have only 1 of them mostly for nostalgia.

 

I'll have to test more stuff later, but because of modding nature each game will be diferent i guess. Tbh i always hated "balancing" mods before because some people just turn an extremely op character into an extremely weak one.

 

The aberration also gave me an idea, maybe i'll make a "rework" for arbalest and musketeer later to better replicate how using arrows and bullets work, if only we could just write an "if" command on the notepad...

 

Can you share the hp mod? I feel like 80% more hp is too much, but 20-30% increase should be just perfect for me and i have plenty of op trinket mods with weird side effects.

Here is the HP modifier set it to 30% as you wanted; if you use Exaelus' Arduous Edition Mod (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1443535842) just unzip and replace in that mod otherwise put it in any mod you have at the top of your mods list and remove modfiles so that it recognizes it.
This is a modification that only works for bloodmoon or the highest difficulty you have does not work for the standard or easy difficulty; You will have to start a new campaign, additionally the limit of dead heroes and weeks is set to 9999 so it is like playing in the other difficulties but with the enemies with more life and a little more damage - surely you will be tired of the same enemies with 15 -20 - 27 health and your heroes OP

Cool, i really am tired of battles lasting either 2 or 10 rounds and i always avoided bloodmoon because of the week limit, i guess it won't be a problem anymore.
