HorstGas Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Today origin made a big Update and since this Update my WickedWhims mod doesnt work anymore. Some one have a idea how solve this problem?

modella Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 It's safe to say that anytime The Sims 4 has a major update/patch, mods can and will break. It's best to hold off an updating your game until the mods you rely heavily on have been updated and are known to work with said patch. All you can really do it wait for Wicked Whims to be updated.
DouglasJ Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Another problem with this update stops previously saved games from loading. Scripts disabled doesn't affect this so wicked whim not to blame
Kallers Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I removed all but WW and animations and now it works ... Kind of. Receives a lot of exceptionfiles though. also kept the CFG file
threadfinder Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 This update was mandatory -it wouldn't allow me to play without completing it so I assume that best practice is probably to pull the mods until they can be updated.

Ortikan Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I haven't had that many issues, the only thing of note is nisa's wicked perversions setting off alerts in both mc and ww. i'll see if there is something around and update if possible. edit: having ran a most recent update of nisa's the alerts are popping up very frequently now, where as before it would of been every 5 minutes. i'm gonna disable the mods, delete nisa's for now and re-enable the mods with a new game. In a week from now i'll get the updates for mc, ww and anywhere else, after the expac drops.

thug21 Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Removed all wicked whims required content except for 1 animation pack. It stopped the MCCC from alerting but wicked whims is still alerting and not working.
wylde1 Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Just installed the update for Wicked Whims from Turbos site, ver. G and all is well. No errors with any animations so far. Nisa's perversions working as is Basemental drugs.
bombompoww Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Were your wicked whims work now? I updated to the June 5th update of wicked whims but looks like it crashed still... Updated all other mods - wicked perversion, kinky whims but still, it didn't work properly. any suggestion?

Move all mods to c:\old-mods\ and add only WW v155h to the Mods folder. The game should work as expected, exit but do not save. Move 50% of your mods from old-mods to your mods folder and start TS4 again. You may find out which mod is causing issues. Some mods are still not compatible with EcoLiving and you may need to remove them

If WW is not working, the chance that your game or WW is not up-to-date is very high. move all other mods/cc out of the mods folder, leave only WW in there. delete the localthumbnail cache file and start a new save game. if it works, it's not WW causing the problem. if it doesn't work, really check game and WW for the right version... oh and btw. if you use a cracked version of TS4, WW won't work either just saying

Lucky for me I manage to grab the original one when Origin give it out free last year ? looks like it's not my game but it's me who are stupid. lol ?

Delete localthumbcache.package from The Sims 4 folder 2. Try search for 'wickedwhims' when you are in the folder. If there are any duplicate, you have to delete it. - Mine, it was duplicate at 'TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package' Hope it helps!
TempestKilday Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 also one to watch for, had onedrive running and it copied the WW mod folder to the saves folder, and many other files duplicated( culprit is most likely having the mods installed before updating), removed duplicates, repaired save file names all solved the issues. if this helps anyone.

Some one have a idea how solve this problem? I removed my mods on the 2nd to avoid that headache and am slowly adding everything back. Default Replacement Eyes of all things got broken in this update and CAS rarely is ever affected in updates.

It says cannot find file when try to download!! deactivate all your anti-virus programs (incl. windows defender) and try using another browser (Edge, IE, firefox, opera, etc)
