AEP Pornography problems

Hi! I have an issue with the mod.

 

I downloaded everything correctly and when i was about to put the venue building in my game it wont work. It shows up in my library and all but when i click it, it says "this item is not found". I can see the specifics tho like the value, the type, discription etc but not the actual building itself.

Which venue are we talking about here? The photo studio?

In any case, if your lot does not work, try downloading one in-game via the Gallery. Use the filtering options on the left to select the lot type and enable the option for custom content. There are a few versions of the "Photo & Co" lot as well as a number of others, so just pick one that looks good to you.

The photoshoot doesn't work for me, I was able to do it once but now whenever I accept the invitation the receptionist doesn't show up and I'm unable to interact with the stylists and the photographer. I've waited until the time has run out and there has still not been a receptionist. The game hasn't updated and I've not added any new mods etc since it stopped working so I don't think it's because something I've done. Any idea on how I can fix this?

I also have a problem with the mod as far as I know. I accepted the invitation to have a photoshoot for my guy and the game just tells me that the game failed to load after a while. I have the error 123 it says. I'm currently on the latest patch 1.81.

As usual, whenever I'm trying to test this, I don't get an invitation at all. Going there and testing it with a self-paid photoshoot worked fine, however.

To me, that sounds as if the studio lot is not working correctly. Enter Build mode from the world screen and make sure that the lot is both set to Photo Studio and meets all the requirements. For the receptionist, you need the front desk from Get To Work and "Joliette" desk chair, IIRC (chair might have been for RedAppleNet only).

I have had Sims steal stuff from several lots in my game, thanks to Eco Living NAPs, and it broke quite a few of them.

Did you remember to delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", and make sure that both "custom content & mods" and "script mods" are enabled in the game settings?

Error code 123 is a bit of a weird one in my experience, but a rather consistent one (so it should also show up when your Sim just travels to the lot without an invitation). Sometimes it is apparently due to a broken mod or leftover files from an uninstalled one, sometimes it seems to be the game itself that is causing the issue. I would recommend the usual steps: Trying a game repair via Origin/Steam, starting a new game for testing purposes, running the game with only AEP in your Mods folder (remember to delete "localthumbcache").

Thanks for the answer and help! Sorry it took me a while to reply, but I was able to work out what the problem was. For some reason, it brought up the error message since I accepted the invitation while my sims were uhhh... let's say busy practicing the "birds and the bees". Hahaha. I saved in the middle of that cos I was distressed with the error message so it kept on happening, making me think that I had problems with the mod. Thank you so much tho. I really appreciate it.

After trying to figure out how to get a photographer in I tried spawning in (with shift+click) a random male adult NPC. Then I used MCCC to 'add traits' to him. In the search query (for traits) I typed in 'photo' and 2 kush... (something, forgot how to spell the creators tag) traits showed in the list. Added 1 but nothing changed so I added the other in and THEN the photographer option(s) became accessible! 

Now I'm finally taking the erotic pictures! I hope this helps anyone else that might've been struggling with the same issue. Happy snapping!

Having trouble with the Vivux Camera and the video editing station. Camera and station are literally right next to each other in the room and still gets a pathing issue when trying to transfer video from camera.

There's no chair at your video station. If your Sims can't sit down, they can't use the computer to transfer/edit videos.

Hi, I've been using this mod for some time. Since I've updated my WW, the interaction for bed is not available and whenever I record a sex tape it always shows unidentified. It was fine before. I don't get photoshoot invitations anymore since too. 

 

Hoping it would be the same as before. Happy wicked!

Since RedAppleNet (made by the same creator as AEP) is partially broken atm, I guess AEP might be in need of an update as well (it is said that updates should resume on a more regular basis later this month). Photoshoots have been very rare for me, too, and recording sex tapes only works reliably with two adult Sims involved (teens have been disabled by the creator, but more than two Sims should work AFAIK).

I'm also having trouble with finding the photo venue that has no cc in my gallery. I downloaded it and transferred everything to the tray folder and left the one venue package in mods. I hope I'm correctly posting on this forum because this is my first time posting here so sorry if I'm accidentally responding to one person instead of everyone.

You can download the photo studio (a few different versions actually) through the gallery in-game as well. Simply search for "Photo & Co" or use the filters on the left to select lots as the main category and then pick the photo studio venue from the list of available lot types.

For those who get an error message (the one asking you to reboot your game with an error code) when traveling to the photo studio for photoshoot event it probably comes from a conflict/lack of update with NPCC mod, to bypass it use the method @PureFusion used before the event happened (for me  i noticed it usually came at 15:05 pm but...).

To do so you need MCCC :

- Choose 2 NPC you want to apply for photograph and receptionnist ( No need for both stylists as it seems to be taken from Basegame NPC roles)

- Be on the same lot they are

- Pick the NPCs you want and click: MCCC - MC CAS - Manage Traits - Add Traits

- Input "Ksuihuh" in the field and start search, it should return you with the 4 hidden traits of this Mod

- You can now choose which one you want  to assign between isphotographer or isreceptionnistphotostudio-

- Note that for the photograph he/she has to be high skilled on photography if you want that trick to fully work or else NPCC will search for a validate candidate and you'll have another photographer when you'll arrive at the studio.

 

- Now you can try again and it should work fine , remember if you use the Photo'n' Co to change the doors and place the appropriate furnishing in build mode as this studios lacks some furnishing because of this mod update.

 

Thanks again for @PureFusion for this method it helped me a great deal i was disappointed that this feature wasn't working for me since updates, hoping this will help others in the same situation i was

Bei mir taucht AdultWorld.com nach wie vor auf und MCCC hat sich auch noch nicht bei mir beschwert, also ist es entweder einer dieser seltsamen Fehler, die nicht alle Spieler betreffen, oder bei dir fehlt einfach irgendwas, dass der Mod braucht (z.B. eins der Addons - An die Arbeit, Großstadtleben, Werde berühmt). Da die aktuelle Version von AEP offiziell für Spielversion 1.77 ist, halte ich beides für denkbar.

I tried to hire photographer on the phone and then teh notfification show up like this "thanks for hiring photographer they should be at your home shortly" but i waited fo 1 hour no one show up to my house

Is anyone else still using this mod? I suddenly find I can't pick up the Vivux 4000 if there is anything in its inventory. I would blame the recent update/werewolf pack, but it was working this morning, does anyone have any idea what's happened?

Yeah, the camera is completely borked since the werewolf update. I wouldn't even bother with it until the mod gets updates which is supposedly going to be Soon™.

Happy to help, just wish I'd been, y'know, actually helpful, and not just confirming something is busted without a workaround or fix.

EDIT: On thinking about it, I have found a sort of weaselly way to get it to work, you just won't be able to move the camera. If you park the camera by the video station, film the video from there (like if it was a stationary camera in a film studio), then transfer videos from the camera to the station, THEN it will work. Just don't try to move the camera itself.

Hello I've tried this method but the only problem when I input "Ksuihuh" in the field and search, I only have one result which is isreceptionnistphotostudio.

I've tried giving the sim level 10 photography skill but isphotographer still wont appear.
