TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I tried to ask on the Nexus SSE Racemenu page, but I didn't get any takers. But since I'm using a Breton CBBE 3BA (body amazing), I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here. Maybe someone has an answer, or at least a good idea what is going on and how to improve it. It all comes down to the "expression" sliders in Racemenu. I noticed that the sex animations make slight adjustments to expressions in each stage in the sex animation sequence. Thankfully, they are only small adjustments, because when I slid the "happiness" slider, this is what I saw. Is there some ini tweak or extra mod I need to make happiness not seem like a fate worse than death? This is a second attempt to show my images. Maybe this will do the trick. First, "no happiness", which makes sense, given what I'm looking at Next, "half happiness" Finally, "maximum happiness", which is where it just entered nightmare territory
Vylvie Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Don't know if its just me, but the images aren't loading. Spoiler
TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 Just had a doofus moment. I have to make the images public. I edited my question post, so the images should be visible now. And now I learned how to make this nightmare fuel my profile avatar.
coolfreaky Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 it is interesting as my new character encounter same happiness face after fucking and did not started to look what is with that expression .
Redflyingmonkey Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Try https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19181 with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35785 (warning, this will break your presets, you'll have to do them all over again). Vanilla .tri and morphs were not made to allow extreme values/custom brows/textures/racemenu's new morphs. Using both mods will allow you to make better characters, not just have better expressions. You should also try https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11669 And https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29855 To have your character show those fancy new expressions M'kay ? NB : The "random emotions" mod does not play well with Sexlab expressions, you'll have to manually pause random emotions" by using Shift + F10 before or during a sexlab scene. You can also stop it by using Shift + Backspace.
TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 Clearly, more research is needed on my part. Clearly, there is a difference.

TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 @donttouchmethere -- FYI, I'm using Skryim SSE and not legendary edition.

There was mention of "use console commands", but I see no mention of which console commands to use. Any suggestions?
Derpakiin Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 There's nothing broken. Technically facial expressions are only meant to go up to a maximum of 1 by default. This includes during SexLab animations. You are pushing the sliders all the way to 3 which is beyond what was intended by the game. So of course it's going to look wonky because the vertexes are being push outside it's limits. Racemenu allows you to put it up to 3 as a matter of giving you a choice to do so, and it's there to just adjust your character's look, not how they will make expressions during playthrough.

coolfreaky Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 did not tested yet @Redflyingmonkey solutions . well i have changed my load order with 2 or 3 mods ( skyrim se ) and now my character has not the Disney issue . ( may be she is less pleased ) i can not tell if it is that or a coincidence or anything else for now.

Thank you. I re-checked Racemenu for documentation and did not see that type of explanation. This explains everything. Thank you Acceptable happiness is now achieved. (My profile avatar stays, however, as a silent reminder of what happens when you turn your phaser to 11.)

You'll need Random Emotions for that mate, which requires MFG Fix (Sexlab does too iirc). As for your previous question, once you install Mfg Fix you can enter "mfg" in the console, which will spawn a list of all phoneme and morpheme numbers. It's still a bit strange though, so I use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12919, that is incompatible with Mfg Fix (apparently) but works on my system. This mod allows you to click on your character when in console "mode", and a box will appear with all your active expressions. Modifying them goes like this : mp 0 100. That example will make your character use the mfg (m) phoneme (p) "Aah" (0) to maximum intensity (100). For morpheme (face modifications), you go : mm 0 100, where 0 now refers to BlinkL, so that'll make your char blink completely. Play with the values etc. Also, if you're doing all of this to have okay expressions in Sexlab, try editing the expressions in Sexlab MCM. Will take a loooong time, less so if you're familiarized with the values and how the commands look. Last advice, I see your character's brows are messed up. Try to edit them in the sculpting feature on racemenu so they don't look like shit, or change brows. SSE has weird morph issues with custom brows/scar, especially on high poly head meshes. I manually edit them by clicking their "Editability" on the sculpt menu (don't forget to uncheck your face's racemenu or you'll edit both at the same time), and play a bit with them. Just use the "move" brush to push them higher or something. But yeah, don't leave your char like that she looks like she's stuck remembering the best shit of her life.
TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted May 31, 2020 Author Posted May 31, 2020 Thank you @Redflyingmonkey and others who have responded. I have to say that in one day I've received far more constructive help from here than I have on the Nexus in the year since I've been using mods on Skyrim. Not only was my original question answered, you all give me some helpful tips on where to go from there. I think my question is resolved.
Guest Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 The expression tab in race menu is just too bad. If you want your waifu to smile, increase "mouth corner height" and "mouth smile", and decrease "mouth width". Then save it as a different preset, so you can swap it when you want.
