Form 43 Plugin in detected

is it bad that some of the mods I have installed have popped up with this error and is that why they are a bit buggy, also some of the mods I have installed have been ported to SSE but they still pop up with a form 43 error is there any reason to this and a fix?

 

would one possible fix be using the SSE creation kit to update them to SSE from Oldrim?

The form 43 error only points out that the mod was probably created for LE (sometimes mods get ported to SE but the form version is not updated). But that´s really all the number will tell you. It will not tell you anything about whether it is for LE or SE, or if it´s buggy, nor would changing the number change anything about the functionalty of the mod.

 

Mods for LE just don´t automatically work for Skyrim SE. Porting them over may be super simple or super complex, this really depends.

What mods are you using which seem to be not working properly?

I have been told by a few SE'ers that it doesnt really matter if SE mod has LE Form 43(Bush) That being said opening mod in CK and saving the file in there will change it to form 44.

Theres a lot of discussion still going around about this topic

 

There are rumors about it increasing your chances of safe corruption and some other nasty bugs that can be avoided by simply converting the esp. There are some .esps that cant be converted, such as Naked Dungeons which is going to break when converting it, and some .esps have to be converted to function properly

Latter is a fact, the other a rumor that hasnt been confirmed nor debunked

 

In general Id say just convert it over to 44 and if it breaks the mod stick to 43 instead

Thus far, I only know of 2 that break when converting them, those two being Naked Dungeons and SL Kidnap Redux. Note that as far as I remember, Kidnap redux is also bugged if you dont convert it

the 43 does not matter it can be ignored in every point .

 

now if you have any problem with skyrim , you should describe your issue the most precisely you can , with generally a Load Order and a papyrus Log and anything that concerns animations FNIS log output .

 

like this members can point on an issue without too much guessing.
