It's basically a first draft - to get the whole thing out of my head so I can do other things. Kinda like how Thaena's monologue originally was. prometheusx Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I was a new character with version 0.30. The food came in after the dog fetching or after the horses, not sure. At the prologue there where no food as intended.

Such as the orgy party with the Companions, the one with the contest for who can last the longest fucking wolves/werewolves? That mission was always my favorite of the original questlines, and having that event be a recurring one would be fantastic. Sort of like the basement party feature, maybe it could be something you could request or check to see if it's available to do again. The original dialogue hinted that the Companions have those bestiality orgies somewhat regularly, so it could fit in my opinion.

Can you post your Papyrus log? Check that it mentions the "A Journey of 1000 Animals" (search for that) quest and that it does a SetStage(99). Might have to go back further than the .0 log file.

prometheusx Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I had logging disabled. So i enabled it and did i again, but this time the food and other things weren't owned. Strange. Maybe i started this character with an older version and updated later.

Even if, it should have added you to the ownership faction (so the items are still owned but you can take them) when you installed 0.3. But besides reading through the code again, there's not much I can do without a Papyrus log.

I really liked the forsworn story, it was some thing new and I hope to see that as playable store line at some point or in different mod

Spoiler So for the part in the story after getting the troll where you and Theana end up tied up together by the troll, I was thinking it could be more fun to allow a fail-state of sorts where you don't or can't convince jesper to release you, and you both have to end up in the trolls control for a period of time. Perhaps it can have fade to blacks in between interesting moments, and for fear of going into things that would be overly complicated for this rework, a alternate scenario where the troll escapes and takes them his cave and you have to find a way out. Or you just have to wait until someone else finds you or the trolls lets you go. Just a thought I had I wanted to share, it seemed like a fun deviation from the main story loop and was sad that there was no other option but to convince jesper to let you out when it popped up. Hope things are going well for ya! Keep up the awesome work

It already is. In fact, males playing the first quest are required to use a female companion for one part of it.

Still on track for end of this month: the main part of the next quest is written (not that there's much), and the Fun Bits are still in progress (I figure about 70% done) but will be finished this week. That leaves me almost another week for entering everything into CK and testing it all out. Unless that goes more smoothly than I expect, I'll do v4 next week (probably Sat 31st or Sun 1st), then v4.1 a week later with the rewritten monologues for Thaena and the horse guy and whatever bug fixes are needed for the new stuff. Then back to business as usual. Ahhh... Really looking forward to this release because when it's done I'll switch my main save over to it instead of AM+ and spend all my time Competing instead of advancing quests. 1

This would likely be rather late in the story, but it just came to me that the time that the Animal Mansion found its niche someone else might try to make profit off of it. This could for example start by someone else opening his own copy of the Animal Mansion and drawing customers away from the real one with shady business practices (maybe like them claiming theyre the real one). Another thing could be someone trying to buy the Animal Mansion (or a big amount of shares) and changing things which aren't well perceived by the player and Thaena which causes them to try getting rid of the investor/new owner. Technically you could also merge it or branch it off into Thaena rejecting and that causing the opening of the copy.

As you said, later - as in it will be part of the new content (after the existing main quests). Tentative teaser: Already suffering from the drop in clients due to [recent events], the bad news continues when Thaena hears about a new business with a familiar tagline. A business that happens to be run by [someone]. A business that somehow has twice the customers the Animal Mansion had, and in half the time. Skeptical that [owner] could pull this off with such good timing, Thaena asks our hero(ine) to investigate. 1
