Wicked Whims Still isn't Working

hi guys, im new the whole mods thing but i have managed to download a drugs mod and the extreme violence mod and those seem to work fine. 

 

i can't however get the wicked whims mod to work (even though i followed all the proper instructions - including checking out the "common mistakes" tab on the wicked whims website) 

i know its supposed to work because i can see the "wickedwhims_tuning" file in 'custom content', and "wickedwhims_scripts" file in 'script mods' (in the "other" tab in the 'game options').

 

btw i also downloaded the necessary sex animations but I can't seem to see those too. the only "sexual" thing that is happening in my game is that im able to see nudity - but thats it

please helpp?

I also didn't see how it works but basicly you need to firstly either choose a location for the animation to play (e.g. bed, shower, floor etc.) or the (first) parter for the active sim - just croll through the romantic actions till you see "Have sex", since it's not at all the same as traditional woohoo/try for baby. Some possibilities of this mod are only available to enter via computer or phone, so try browsing those carefully too, you may actually find what you've been looking for.

i understand what you're saying but the options simply aren't there. ive clicked the bed and the only options are "sleep" "sit" "nap", 

even when i clicked the floor it only said "go here", when i click on my sim it doesnt show any sexual action.

or if i click on another sim , i dont have any wicked whims options.

what im saying is the "wicked" option/actions arent there

but sexual aspirations and nudity is there

Try it without any other mods installed. Just WickedWhims and a few animation packs (best pick some that were updated recently, one or two are enough). Delete "localthumbcache.package" found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4" before you launch the game.

Also, check that both custom content and script mods are enabled in the game's options.

Side note: Don't use the auto installer, just extract the files and move the "WickedWhimsMod" folder into Mods.

You could try this....long winded but it works 99% of the time...….Remove ww folder or the files if you don't use a folder (I recommend you do) delete localthumbcache.pkg file...load the game and start a new game...place a sim in game then exit without saving.....exit game....delete localthumbcache.pkg file....put ww back in and start the game again.....

for some reason I cant upload any screenshots on here.... ughhhh this is so frustrating lol. 

should I just tell you the contents of my folder?

Need to see your mods folder really.....ok WW is in it's own folder? you haven't put anything else in there?

yeah wicked whims (the script file and the package file) are in their own folder (called "wicked whims" in the mods folder)

and the other mods (drugs, violence, wicked perversions, sex animations, penis mod) are directly in the "mods" folder - they don't have their own folders like wicked whims does

You get the purple pop up saying you have WW when the game loads and the green one too?

Wicked whims script file is 1716kb in size?

Wicked whims tuning package is 55155kb in size?

no i dont get the purple or green pop up for wicked sims. i didnt even know i was meant to get a pop up

 

and yes the script file is 1716kb and tuning file is 55155kb

Yes, you should have the two notifications pop up when you load into the game telling you that WW is successfully installed and what animations you have installed.

What game version are you using?

i think its the previous version, all i know is i havent updated my actual base game to its newest version

could that be the problem?

Update your game.....then update WW and any other mods....BD etc etc

so, now im facing another problem you guys

 

i cant update the base game

ive tried downloading and installing Origin, but its not working it says something like "windows cannot find the Origin.exe" something like that (im not at home at the moment so i cant check), and yes i have ensured that the previous one was completely unistalled (because i think some files were missing, it wasnt opening up when i was clicking on it), 

 

on top of that, the installation program says it needs internet connection to work which doesnt make sense bc i do have internet connection.

 

i think my sims 4 just hates me

Wait, you have the game installed without Origin? If your game is pirated, then that's your problem.

Yeah, re-installing Origin can be a pain in the back. I had to look through all those "Program Files" and "AppData" folders to find some leftover files from the previous installation, IIRC there were even some entries left in registry. But once I got all of them, the installler did what it's supposed to do.

However, I suspect there is a problem with Origin's servers at the moment. My internet connection is fine, but Origin tells me it can't connect and I can only play offline. Trying to go online works but in the past three hours alone the notification telling me that I was offline again popped up twice - and I might have missed one or two more, since I didn't spend the entire time in front of my screen.

 

But if your game really is pirated, the only solution is to buy a legit copy.

no it's not pirated, it's just the origin thing isn't working

Well I read somewhere here that Origin was having problems today, and found out myself later when it also kicked me into offline mode.
