I just gave some animations a look with it active and everything seemed okay. They were just scenes with two human pawns. Searching this topic for info shows that it only seems to impact animals, which I don't really care too much about. If it only has an impact on animal scenes it would be nice if this mods description says as much.

What this does is it makes animal style pawns not update their ai/pathfinding/etc nearly as frequent as other pawns. This causes animals to not line up with sex animations at times. Unknown if this is still an issue due to animations being completely rewritten for 1.5 but this is an option you can easily just turn off in Rocketmans settings.
Nohrin Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 (edited) Whenever I use an animation pack such as "RJWAnimaddons_Hawkstuff" or "Ultimate Animation Pack" they seem to overwrite the default animations from the Animation Framework. This makes it so there are only 1 or 2 animations for each interaction, instead of 3 (third being the Animation Frameworks default). Could I have made a mistake with installing the mods? I recall in the past each sex interaction having more variety in animation choice. I haven't played Rimworld with RJW in a long while. And from what I understand, the animation framework got revamped for 1.5. Is this the reason why? edit/more context: I am wondering if there is a way to get the Animation Frameworks base animations to get played alongside the animation packs. Instead of being completely replaced. Another related issue (which may not be this mods fault) is that animations played from an aggressive female perspective are not fitting. Eg: "Ride Vaginally" (when a female initiates through "reverse rape" menu) will only have a submissive missionary animation from "Ultimatate Animation Pack" which doesn't make much sense when you use an aggressive interaction (Reverse Rape -> Ride Vaginally) on a male. The default cowgirl animation will never play. I am trying to get it so that the animations played in an aggressive context (Female rapes male), a non-submissive animation will play. I suppose the issue is that the animation packs only have the female pawns in submissive roles, and for some reason are being played in aggressive contexts. The animations that come with the Animation Framework are more context neutral. The cowgirl animation is played, but it doesn't really favor one side or another in terms of who is the aggressor. This works a lot better for both submissive and aggressive cowgirl animations. Could this be fixed by editing XMLs? Such as removing the Cowgirl/Missionary animations from Ultimate Animation Pack & Hawkstuff from the "Ride Vaginally" context? I'm not too experienced in editing XMLs. But from what I have seen inside of them, there are lines that reference different "initiators" and the context menu. If this is possible to fix by removing the non-default Missionary animations from the "Ride Vaginally" context, some guidance on how to do this without breaking anything would be appreciated! Hellxion Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 I seem to be having an issue that when i use the "Sexoverdrive" option after the "orgasm" meter fills up once the animations revert back to the old vanilla animations of them basically bumping into each other. I have all RJW related mods up to date as of 8/17/2024 as well as checked all mods to see if they are incompatible with RJW and no issues that i can see. Any ideas or is this a bug that will be fixed after the final animation package is released? 1

It seems no matter who is masturbating they will not orgasm or increase their sex need. This does not appear to happen with 2 pawns, regardless of species combination. It may have to do with a lack of animation, but as much as I don't like animal breeding, i believe it uses a default RJW 'animation', when testing this (with debug, that is) the breeding interaction was able to orgasm. It only applies to the masturbation animations (or lack thereof). I do have 5 or so bug/tweak mods but those likely shouldn't effect it. Aspica Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Can anyone explain how to get the different animation packs that are updated to 1.5 working together? I followed the load order guide, and some of the animations are working, but most of them are not, so there are only a couple of variations working for most sex. In addition I'm seeing a lot of animation props in the mod folder that never appear or don't work right. For example, Eltoro's pack is supposed to have an xray prop that never appears. Instead I get a frozen image of the default x-ray from this animation pack. I've tried quite a bit of rearranging and trimming, I've even tried to let Rimpy sort the load order, but even with just Animation 2.0 and Eltoro's installed it still doesn't work, and honestly I'm having a hard time finding even what animations aren't working. 1

It hasn't received an update since RJW 5.5.0 released. It works fine for the most part, but in my experience sometimes animations will end too quickly before either pawn can orgasm, so neither of them fills any sex need. I'm not sure if that's a bug with the Animation Framework, the animations, or if it's a bug introduced by 5.5.0.
