(50 pts to whoever gets the reference) ) and was about to sit down and lament the lack of games that I want to play at the moment, but instead, i'll toss a couple hours at these boots.  Fun!  [edit] if you have it great, if not i'll make do . . . BUT (and it's a big butt) Is there a plainer, less detailed version of the textures? or is this the base?  [edit 2] there's a poly-spike at the top of the foot just before the break in the ankle. can that be helped? If not that's cool. It's pretty clear in nifskope default lighting (to me anyway)

I'm a bit of a perfectionist. don't mind me. if the game-pervs decry "suckage!" then go ahead. I'll make myself deal with it. Â Also, I sat down tonight and started jacking with texturing . . . only to get fully curb-stomped by fucking photoshops forced "save as copy" bullshit that you can't fucking turn off. goddam that's annoying. I spent my allotted 2 hours being pissed off and trying to find a 'fix' for it just so I could preview the textures in nifskope. Well, I'll take a bit more of a stab at it tomorrow. for now tho i'm too goddam annoyed.

I downloaded the main one and the texture files then brought up nifskope and render them then dropped the texture files into the folder one at a time to check out all of the textures and they look great. Can you do a version of spurs without leather part, to fit with every boots in game?  Well you can do that pretty easily yourself. Just checked the whole spur hightlights so you will have to use gimp to do this. You have to use gimp with .dds plugin so it will be able to be read .dds files gimp is free. Load up nif file and render it by selecting render then setting then follow the folder paths in niskope then once spurs are rendered throw the .dds into gimp.  The .dds files you use are almost always named like this Spurs.dds if the file has _n.dds or other letter those are used for something else and not used. Once you have the .dds file in gimp use the lasso tool to go around the leather pieces on the bottom group first connect the first dot with the second dot by clicking the first dot when you have gone around the whole bottom leather group then once it has been connected right click center of it select edit then clear.  Go to file hit overwrite .dds file. Now go to nif file right click it and go down to node select add property and select add  NiAlphaPropety the part that was highlighted and cleared should disappear. Now repeat steps for top leather pieces use the save as option on the nif file and since most nif files have 2 nif files you have to do the same thing to the next one as you did with the first one or it wont show up in game changed. (meaning you have to add the NiAlphaProperty to the 2nd nif file as well and save as).

Not sure about the etching. might be too big and winds up looking painted on. the red is the start of a black set. black with red top and red feet... yum.  anyway, experiments. comments desired.         Â

I am wondering if there is any way to do a version for males with a really long fold that could go from just below the knee to just above the foot , kind of like a jack sparrow boot? If so could you please please make them in the same colors as the regular,If you could do this i would be soooo grateful,I have been looking for someone to do this since 11-11-11!!!! What i'm looking for is boots like in this drawing
