[REQ] Thigh high swashbuckler & pirate boots?

i've looked everywhere for boots like this. come close but there are only a couple that are close in style, and they usually  are not period friendly, low quality, or not proportioned very well. really surprised that there aren't any for this game since this style is kind of a mainstay in this genre.
anything close to these would be very welcome (UNP especially but they'd go over well for all bodies i'd think)...

I tracked down the .obj file for the swashbuckler boots and might be willing to try and port it to skyrim but won't make any promises. Is that second screenshot ingame if so nice and that was fast lol. The author said unp would be nice and as for the spurs I would add them after all it easy to remove things with nifscope unless you combine the meshes.

I think i might just do them all, its not that much work really. Well as long as the metal parts don't rely on shaders.

Both have the male version included, and all work with the weight slider.

 

Craft at the forge in the leather section

 

they have slightly higher stats than the vanilla leather boots, and can be improved.

 

The spurs are separate and are also forged in the leather section, but are not considered armour, there are 2 types.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If i have some time tomorrow i will convert the other textures / styles.

Or too any other body type, but only if / when i have some free time.

holy hell folks! THANK YOU SO MUCH! i'm actually a little tearly lol. i've been coming up w/ pretty good ideas for years now since Fallout 3, and making requests but very rarely does anyone show interest. i crusaded for a narrow shoulder skeleton a year before Backsteppo finally, and thankfully, made it. a silenced laser rifle, stealth neckalce. a few things caught interest and were made but mostly i've come to expect nothing at all. i just kinda make a request and forget about it lol. i'm trying to get axes and hammers turned the other way on the back, in skyrim. again, not much interest. so when i posted this here, i didn't even think to check back.

 

i'd try this stuff myself but i'm old, w/ bad eyes, and totally tech stupid,. i mean they were only teaching typing in school last i was there. not even word processing...typing lol. i took typing in college and was so bad at it i dropped it heh. had my 1st PC for 4 years before i figured out how to cut n paste. i did learn i lil Nifskope for this hammer n axe thing tho.

but Ghosu was the one that kindly made a somewhat working skeleton. i had made a skelly that had 2 nodes on the back but the toon can't draw the 2nd weapon correctly. anyway, my rambling and inane point is, i'm so happilly suprised i dunno what to do. thanks all for your interest.

thank you Angrim for even considering it! and of course a HUGE THANK YOU to VIOXSIS for making them!!! i had no idea the boots were even from a game. just knew the pics were what i was lookin for. thanks alot for tracking the needed files down Arngrim11. I figured they'd need to be made from scratch, so that was a godsend.

I know it's not quite a simple conversion, but for some reason the tops of those boots seam to call out for a front and rear split with fold over.

I didn't want it, per se, I was just chiming in. . . but yeah that's what i was talking about (=

 

What's the texture on that like? It's a pretty accurate look and comes off well, but IMO it needs some say rivets, gnurling, etching or additional stitching. I'd be happy to take a stab at it if the txtr is a decent size (say 512). Does it already have an MSN?

ah, so Monstro meant a cuff on top. those look almost like the 1st Pirate boot pic i posted, except not quite as tall. could it be we'll be getting those too! lol, i'll shut up. i'm not staring at a gift horse

Is the final posted somewhere? I'll take a crack at retexs. I was thinkin about this earlier y'day and was lamenting the lack of subtle detail in the model, but that band just above the knee is pretty slick. that will enable some creativity.

I guess if you could perhaps make a dark red one, that had a suede texture... perhaps with some gold... lol

it would be awesome, but allittle tedious... just if you have the desire to and the time.
