Dark Arena SSE

I saw some people are having issues with Dark Arena 1.43 causing CTD on game load. Did anyone figure out why this is happening? using the latest Skyrim AE verison

Sorry it took me a while to test the change, it seems to be having the same issue, but the script lag problem is fixed

whenever I try to load into dark arena my game just crashes. Crash logger shows that "Margret", and "Alarvyne" might be the ones crashing it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Which character is the Boss?  The Boss seems to have gotten stuck somewhere and I can't seem to finish the Meet the Boss quest, so I'm thinking of tcl finding him and then using moveto player

Query was regarding a quest-related NPC; I figured out the answer on my own

I also have problem with dance animation not working,

my character just stand there with fixed camera angles for around 2 seconds, then return to normal, but the quest still considered to be progressing, so it's not an actual problem.

 

And Hreinn ( the NPC that gives dance quest ) got pushed around by other NPC, he ended up in different area,

after an hour playing, he got stuck inside the slave cell, i have to use noclip command to talk to him.

 

Edit : There's a possibility the cause of animation not working are because i use Pandora instead of FNIS.

whenever I lose in the pit I just die instead of an animation playing

I have the same problem, when I am defeated in the pit I simply die, I have been able to observe that the Essential is put on correctly, but when I die, the Bleedout animation starts and immediately as soon as the "Not essential" popup appears my character collapses on the ground.

 

Edit: I have tried using the "Player.resethealth" command before the not essential appears and it worked for me, could it be that when setting the not essential Skyrim detects that I have no health and then my character dies?

FYI: Using SSE 1.5.97 and I started a new game to test it.

Have you ever solved this problem? It seems like it loads up correctly, but is absent in game. I've never had such a problem with any mod.

It looks like there is a problem with the main quest (I guess?), but I can't start any other quest from this mod and it doesn't exist in the riften sewers. I've tried changing load order, but to no avail. Maybe in future somebody more competent will find what may be causing this, but sadly I have to give up on this mod. Really nice idea tho, hopefully it will gain more recognition.

Same problem here, However on me it's because i have Acheron active and interfeers with Dark Arena script. I downloaded a patch, but it seems that it's not working.

there is nothing I can do about that.

 

I ran a test on Dark Arena, by hazard. Update incomming soon (just need to find an appropriate ambiance music).

Is Fredis supposed to stay undressed even if you manage to free her? I have not played your new version yet. But when I played the last one she never removed her collar or got new clothes. Now she just sits naked with a collar in Ivarstead with her mother. Kind of weird...

 

I could use another mod to redress her. But it would be nice if this mod would redress her and remove the collar either when it's time to leave the arena or when she finally gets back to her mom.

 

Maybe she is already supposed to get dressed and my game is the problem? Not sure. Just a request.

found a fix

Installed 1.43fix version and got to the arena via the quest. About 50% of NPCs are standing around in the sewers instead of being in the Arena.
I did install these fix mods tho, currently testing if theyre the culprit of this bug.

Edit: Ive tested, they werent :c

I have TGT of ivarstead installed along with this mod. I found out DarkArena adds an door to the inn, also adds an npc to the inn but I'm more concerned about the world edits as it conflicts. Are these world edits in the world space intentional?

I got a question about the Quest to find the Dark Arena,
Is finding and rescueing the abducted Farm Girl a finishable quest?

or just an story telling way to get the player to the dark arena and can't be finished and stays as unsolved quest forever in my questlog?

Because I'm there, I found the girl and she only says she can't talk to me and nothing more happens.

Like many others, I am getting a CTD when sold to the arena via SS++.  This is with Dark Arena SE 1.43fix btw.
