CTD after installing a few mods

i'm having the problem of CTD after i installed a few mods, immersive college of winterhold, mrissi tail of troubles, ESFCompanions, spell research, and maybe another mod that i can't remember. But the problem only occurs after I get all of my mods set up in the MCM with hotkeys and the such. I didn't have the problem until after I installed these mods and im not sure if i should just get rid of a few of them or all of them, or if there is something I can do do fix this.

Not sure what of all the possible things could cause that particular CTD, but here some thoughts:

Your using the usual Skyrim stability fixes like:

> SKSI.ini

> CrashFixes

> ENBoost

Immersive college of Winterhold has a patch for Mrissi compatibility, it's asking during installation if you want to install the patch

That doesn't make much sense. Only the last esp will win in LO or with NMM the last you installed.

Install only one, they are variations for RRF, you can't run them all at once.

 

In addition XPMSE includes RRF already, so no need to install RFF  separately.

Your MNC installation is out of date.

Best to update to MNC SLAL edition.

If you do that, SexLabNudeCreatures is not needed anymore or will even conflict

 

 

Not sure if I understand you right, but adding mods to your LO on a running game is only save at the end of your Loadorder (depends on the mods you add).

Is kind of fragile if it comes to LoadOrder, you might want to move that down in LO

Also check for possible conflicts or patches on the mod page

 

 

Remember to rerun Dualsheet redux patch and FNIS if you change your load order

This sounds like a good plan.

Remove the last mods you installed one by one until you found the one that causes the CTD.

Then check if it needs patches or a better place in LO.

I don't understand fully at what point you crash and why you add mods later while still working on MCMs.

 

If you CTD already in LAL while doing MCM settings there is a good chance that one mod is missing patches or has a bad place in LO or mod conflict.

 

On a new game start Sexlab first and than save/reload after that. Only than start to modify other mods.

While I agree with everything that DTMT has said let me point out that you have SeLab Nude Creatures. This means that you have an old version of More Nasty Critters. An old version that is known to cause the problem that you describe. So, bring your MNC up to date while you're working on your issues.

I crash after i get all of my mods in the MCM set up, with hotkeys and the setting i like. But the crash only occurs when i try to load that save after exiting out of skyrim

I do infact use the patch for mrissi when it comes to the immersive college of winterhold

I was told I needed to install RFF by XPMSE's mod page so i did so

Was not aware that there was a new eddition of MNC

So I went and got rid of RFF and updated MNC, and then went through the mods i recently installed, uninstalling them one by one to see which one caused the problem to see which one caused the CTD when i try to load it, but it still persist. So i'm going to go in and make a new game and see if the problem still occurs after I get every thing set up

There has been lots of updates to MNC since SLNC was last used. MNC is one of the most regularly updated mods on LL.

So the problem is still there even after reinstalling them and all of that, so im going to uninstall them and reinstall only the college of winterhold mod at a later date, and see if my game will work without them. I also got untamed so hopefully that doesnt mess any thing up

RS children might be an issue, did some odd things on my setup too, although I think it was a compatibility issue on my setup.

You have some HF modifying mods, maybe RS children needs a patch for those (adoption).

 

If it wasn't the issue and you still CTD on load of the first save:

Give us a FNIS output (copy/paste)

 

Grey Cloud is right, I also think your not up to date with your mods.

You might want to check if you have the newest versions (or at least versions that are compatible to each other).

 

And try this:

New Game > only activate SLframework + creature animations > save > load > (wait for estrus if installed) > register SLAL animations > save > load > do the rest

 

Also make your all mods have loaded successfully before you save. Means wait till all those onscreen messages stop (and than wait a bit longer).

 

Might also be that you are over the 65k string count limit of skyrim savegames as soon as you add additional mods.

Means you need to install CrashFixes to patch that savegame limit.

So I was able to play for a little bit before I was attacked by some wolves, where I tried to use untamed's mating call on them which worke,d but when the animation tried to start it crashed my game. Now i'm still having the CTD on load. So heres my updated mod list and my FNIS thing.

I also installed crash fixes but that didn't seem to help, and my more unique mods do work. I'm starting to get very annoyed by this and just want to play the game with out any problems, or at least no CTD related problems.

Looks like an old skeleton. Make sure that you have the XPMSE by Groovtama that is current (that is WAY too many bones).

WIll do that, but im not sure why it doesnt work now, it use to work before i got ride of nude creatures so.

That's the current skeleton and your animations should now work correctly.
