Could you elaborate a bit more on what NPC kinds are safe to enslave. Ain't almost every other NPC besides Oblivion and Quest mods respownable?  I use Hentaimania, 2chan, Monstergirl (scratch that), LoversStupid NPC and always worry about possible save bloats

I ignored GregAtHit's warnings and enslaved many bandits and female marauders (those bitches NEED punishment!) with the OLD version of Slave Trader. Things were working fine until they Just. Stopped. Working. I still miss Cadlew Chapel and that stupid effing farm near Anvil though...

 

My save game got so corrupted - and I did not even enslave that many bandits or marauders - that I just ended up deleting everything, I had well over 500 hours invested in that toon, too. It worked at first, then things started getting weird ( multiple copies of enslaved marauders started appearing in the Cadlew basement... To the point where I could not even load the cell because there were SO MANY marauders that I could not even move through them. The game loaded once with 100s of marauders in the basement - then it would never load again. Why the heck did they spawn in the basement of Cadlew? I dunno - but they did.)  It got to the point where even trying to load an older save would not, err, load the save. Crashy crash crash. Even with Slave Trader disabled my save game got so corrupted that Oblivion would not even start. I am guessing that having hundreds of copies of the same leveled list NPC walking through my game contributed to its instability.

 

You never know when it is going to happen, but it WILL happen. Eventually.

 

Now I only enslave people with names. Even then I pick and choose. Still though, I cannot resist enslaving Raelynn the Gravefinder or Umbra. I just hope they do not come back to bite me in the ass. And Umbra is one hell of an ass-kicking MCS companion.

I enjoyed Umbra as a companion... especially since she's crazy, will get mad and attack you.  But I got tired of her ditching me with whatever AI bit causes her to not behave right and made an esp (personal not published) called Umbra Reborn that adds a new Umbra and Captain Renault to the game so that when I would have enslaved the original I can collect the reborn version and she keeps my game healthy since the reborn versions are just normal NPCs.  I won't go into an Oblivion Gate without my gals at my side.  I keep MCS set to "free" so when they get mad at me for accidently hitting them (or joining in a g-bang) they get up and sometimes are able to beat me down and make me pay)

 

The trick to knowing who you can enslave and can't is savegame before enslavement.  Enslave, then try to train your new slave with the Train with another option (the new slave as defender).  If you get a message about "so and so sold what a shame", they are not safe.  If they show up in your slave book as sold, then they're good to go.

Umbra seems to be working fine. I use Wrye Bash to pretty much completely eliminate "friendly fire" situations, so I never get attacked by companions (although they still rat me out to the guards...)

 

Right now Umbra is broken and is currently "selling her flowers" in Pell's Gate. But she IS a fun companion - and good tips on "Umbra Reborn". I forgot about Cpt. Renault (I never start in jail), so I think I'll have to "revive" her... and break her...

well.. i complete the quest.. enter the portal to cold harbor..  then nothing happened? 

 

hmm.. so i defeat the end boss, acquire that mace.. but i do not get to own the slave town?   am i missing something.. or there are no final reward for complete the chain?  ty

That is it, the mod ends there.  The final reward is you get to live.....few return from cold harbor you know.  

 

Remember I was just the translator, the original mod was created by a Japanese dude by the name of VICN.  Changing ownership of everything would be a fairly complicated and massive script, not to mention it would more than likely be pretty buggy.

 

I have always wondered if the mod author had intended to create more content for the plugin but I can't find that he (VICN) has done anything related to Oblivion since v96 of this plugin.  I don't know if he stopped modding or moved on to Skyrim.

Thanks.  That is because I had to re-write and in many cases completely make up parts of the plugin as the original Japanese came out as gibberish.  I thought the plugin was far too cool to just leave it as a machine translation.  Course, I didn't realize that it would take me nearly 3 months to do it.  I did have an outstanding play testing team that helped me refine things, as without them it would have taken me another month or two at least to get it right.

I got a salve and went to the Counts arms to talk to the mage's sister, 

but she had no new dialogue topics, 

and nothing seems to happen when i wait in the streets of anvil with my slave.

I do not remembe if she has a Dialog.( there is no quest update in Anvil. Only 3 quest entries: you get the quest, you have killed him, you got your reward ) You can enslave her, then walk from Anvil to Bravil (no fast travel ! ) and you meet her brother ( you meet him also without the sister but you have different Dialog Options if you have his sister. Of course you must have at least one slave)

As Fejeena stated, you can enslave her or just let her be.  Personally, I just drag a slave around while I do other quests and the mage will track you down.  Then........well......I make him sorry he was ever born.

The guy is in Cheydinhal (at the hotels there).  As soon as the quest begins he heads to you.  Get the girl and wait.  I find sleeping for 21 hours in my house to work.  If  you have a pre quest save, go use MCS on him before the quest.  Start the quest, Get the girl, call him and then dismiss him.

Save crashes every time i load the plugin, any help to that?

I want to try out the plugin and have all the requirements, but whenever i load the main plugin it just crashes my every save and i can't start a new game

That is clear evidence that you have NOT in fact met all the requirements OR that your load order is terrible.  Either way, until you actually post your load order as Fejeena stated, we can't do crap to help.

 

Further, since you decided to open a post in the tech help section, post your load order there and not here.

There's no great trick to breaking Mina, just persistence. If the RNG is playing up, sometimes the dog in the next room can speed things up.

Anyone interested in me putting together an updated version of this with some non-vanilla clothing\armor?  Been thinking about doing this for a while now.  Won't happen really quickly but I could probably squeeze it in.  I also could include the files for the tapestries and such that you can see in the teaser pictures in the OP.  Unfortunately the tapestries and such would replace ALL the ones in your game and not just the ones in the underground city.  I modded my game to have creature sex scenes pretty much everywhere.....rugs, tapestries, banners and so on.  Give a slightly darker feel to the game.

 

Just throwing the idea out there.

What are you using for the pictures replacers? Something downloaded or stuff you compiled yourself? I'm playing a bit with such replacements myself but haven't found anything I'm completely pleased with.
