I've never messed with any even remotely related to RaceMenu, so I really wouldn't even know where to start. However, if someone more experienced than I wants to mess about and make a patch for those things, I'm fine with it. Trykz
Trykz Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 Added the updated Aetherium Breach plugin, which includes the addition of BodySlide files for, and the changes to the available hoof armors (16 in total) to the download page. Previously, the hoof armors used the feet slot. Now, they use only the calves, and the hooves have been removed from their meshes. Bear in mind that because they are set to the calves slot, any armor that uses the calves slot for the torso will block the hoof boots from displaying. Trykz
Tex Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Few thing's i've noticed on my tests with the race: Minor texture mismatch between head and body textures (could be user side). Horns appear to be fixed to be one colour only, hence if you set your body to another colour they will appear rather odd, hooves and nails seem to work fine though. Tail for some reason is completely black for me, face tendrils are red or blue depending on race, with black endings, could be user error again, but i havent changed any of the files, fresh install so to say. Tail seems to unequip itself if you wear any armor the behaves as an cape. Overall this has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. Edit: Nails also seem to be invisible in first person. Vampirism seems to work fine aswell, with better vampires.

Believe me, I tried every trick I could think of for over half a day. The tail "can" use the skin tone, but I opted for it to match the horns and tendrils for a bit more uniformity. If capes are removing the tails, then don't use capes. Or at least ones that hide the tail (unless you don't mind that). That's the fault of the cape mod for using the vanilla tail slot (40), not this mod. The tail is an "actual" tail. As in, "not hdt", just like Khajiits and Argonians, and uses the same behavior file and tail animations. The claws are set to display in first person, but for some unknown reason refuse to show up. I plan on trying to figure that out when I have time though. The texture mismatch though, might be lighting or ENB/ReShade related or something. They're default CBBE textures that come with the CBBE package, so they should display spot on. Trykz

I spent days on the skeleton for this mod back when I first created it for LE. O.o Having the same problem here. The Fix for the head mesh was downloadable when it was linked in the posts, but not on the main file page. The fix worked, and I am happy to say I found the Manari Island!

You either have both DLCs and RaceCompatibility, or you don't. If you're missing ANY of those, then there is the answer to your crashing problem. RaceCompatibility is downloadable from Nexus, so I don't follow what you mean by "search for it on the internet". Until I understand what you're saying, I really can't help. That said, if you DO have all the requirements, then you have another mod conflicting. I can't test my mod with every mod there is. NO modder can. Therefore, you need to find the conflict, and report it so I can either list that particular mod as "incompatible", or make a patch if it doesn't require a ton of work. The latter would be less likely. Because if a conflicting mod is having issues with my race mod, then it will have issues with ALL race mods, since all race mods depend on RaceCompatibility to function properly. In which case, the creator of the offending mod needs to create the patch, or you need to get rid of it if you want to use race mods. Trykz

I simply repackaged everything with the fixes and added hoof boot update. So I'll be deleting the files I added in later posts, because they're no longer necessary. Trykz

I was a bit worried that with files scattered all over the place, some users might miss something. So I reloaded the mod (and the add-on) into the CK and merged everything into it's proper form as I had hope to originally release it. But I'm curious, why would you want an hdt tail anyway if the race has an actual tail? Is it a preference thing? I ask because I never really saw the appeal of a tail just flopping around without any semblance of a bone structure. Trykz
