As cool as the meshes are, I don't like the textures. The armours give off a plastic-y (or rubber-y) feel and don't look like they are made out of metal, leather and cloth.

you are right, still not finished textures,but the textures do not bother me so much, I can not adjust the mesh to the skeleton! its more important

Boobies Blade, just talking to many friends, all say the same: Except for Irma and the mediun elf the rest are absolutly CHS body.

There are re-texture mods on Nexus for some of them, the armour ones like Leina's (which also someone had ripped off and it calling the Sovengarde armour) which makes them more proper armour looking.

 

Also if you look at the Nexus pages for them people have posted pics of what they look like once you go through all the graphics enhancements for Skyrim

Yeah agreed , i needed Snake Armor for My custom follower Echidna.Bam ! No upper vest ,crappy tex.I had to create textures myself from scratch.But stupid Nif can't save properly.

Im working in all queens blade! but, is very difficult to adapt to the skeleton parts.

u know what ?  i think u must use one of this face mods.... 

envision or univision, why ?  because those two have the best anime face patch in skyrim for now, 
and why not used cbbe body for all of the character ? for the cattleya...  well u know that she has the biggest boobs among the others..

i think u can used cbbe body on her and she is a very tall  big looking mother anyway.. u can say she is a BBW

I actually gotta agree. The default Skyrim faces probably wouldn't do the cast a whole lot of justice. On the other hand I've not (yet) seen the mods in question, so I can't judge if they would be a whole lot better.
