SexLab Extra Voices Expanded + Voice Packs

I use this mod on SSE, and it actually works. However, there seems to be a caveat:

Before my first reset of the voice registry I took the liberty of adding my own sound files to voice slots 8, 9 and 10. I then went into Skyrim SE, loaded my existing save, reset the voice registry in SexLab, and the mod worked fine (incl., my own custom voices).  I then quit Skyrim SE and replaced the sound files in voice slots 4, 5 and 6 with my own sound files and made sure that the file names, number of files, file format and bit-rate used matched those of the original sound files. I then went back into Skyrim SE and reset the voice registry again, but I still hear the same voices from back when I reset it the first time.

I even tried resetting SL completely but that did not work, so my question is whether there is any way to change the voices on a save after the initial voice registry reset. Preferably, a way that does not involve disabling and re-enabling the mod in Vortex.

thats very strange, usually the voices should change while in game.

Did you make sure nothing overwrites your changed voice slots 4, 5 and 6?

Also might be Vortexrelated, I have no experience with that program and sadly I have no SSE install test this.

I use MO2 on LE and I could change voice files back and forth again and again and they showed and worked after Voice Registry Reset.
Will update this soon hopefully, maybe I can see if I can reproduce it.

Thanks mate. It is nice to know that there is someone out there in the old community who listens to SSE users and does not dismiss them outright like so many others.

However, I think I might have found the problem. Due to how Vortex works, it has stored duplicates of the mod's sound files in the main Skyrim SSE data/sound -folder besides the Vortex installation, so perhaps the change will be applied if I also change those files.

Will tell you within 24 hours if this did not work. Otherwise you are free to assume that this measure works.

I have a question about adding new voices.  I want to add the two male voices from this pack:

Extra Voices Expanded says it has 20 male slots in the description, but when I check the folder, it stops at VoiceSlot 16.  The Ian male sound files, which are supposed to be slot 17, are missing and there are no folders 18, 19, 20.

Should I just create the missing folders and move my new sound files into them?  The EVE description says to limit files to 15 max but the included male voices all have many more.  Is 15 still the limit?  Finally, anyone know where I can find the missing Ian male voice files?

Thanks!

the acutal voice files in the folders dont mean much. The limit is coded in the ESP file and should match the description in the OP.

If you put 40 files in a folder that supports only 20 you will not be noticed, you will just only hear 20 of the files.

Same with when u put 15 in. You will just hear the 15 files.

Ian male voice files?! What do you mean?

The mod description says:

"VoiceSlot 17 (Male) - 15 files - Ian (free custom sounds) "

But there is no folder for voiceslot 17.  It stops at 16.

ah, ok, sorry. I will look into it asap.

Thanks for letting us know man. Did you save the mod in CK or anything like that to get it to work with SSE?

Is your save fine right now?

did you ever solve this?

I am not familiar with Vortex, but very often overwrites are the problem leftover files or incorrect installations.
From what I know the Savegame should not store information like that at all.

how do you manage appropriate voices for consensual/non-consensual anims? Do medium sounds never play in consensual scenes?

Voices used:

Aggressive Animations

Victim: Medium

Aggressor: Mild

Consenual Animations

Both Actors early stages: Mild with some few Hot

Both Actors later stages: Hot with a few Mild.

So no, medium never plays in consensual types.

You can customize the Sound Packs by deleting sounds you dont think fit.
PureRape Voice Packs are only meant for aggressive (I dont have any consensual animations in my play for example)

But this is a lot of work and I will only do this in a late stage of the mod development. Right now I want to add as much content as possible for people to use.

are you able/will you add more voice slots? I read you want to increase the files within the slots if I understood that right but I didnt see something about the amount of slots/voices itself.

from what I see in the scripts and ESP I will be able to add more Voice Slots too (total number of Voices).
But I did had no energy to test yet.

Also the work is tiring in general. I have to handwrite every link to a voice file. So 80 files per voice make 240 entries per hand.
I dont know if there is a better way in the CK, have to check. It was just convenient for me to do it in TES5edit because I understood as much, lol :D

TLDR:
There will be most likely be more Voice Slots, too in the future.

This is one of my favorite mods and I appreciate the work being done.  I figured I'd contribute.  This voice pack is a mix of a female not having a good day, mostly composed of other packs and voice packs from everywhere.  Personal taste.  Crying, moaning, begging.  15 wavs in each category.
SeygasCustomvFemaleMoan09.zip
I have a few more, nothing organized.  I'll post a few more if yall are interested.

since you said you did it with TES5edit I looked into it as I know how to use TES5edit a bit and respect for doing that work. Naming/renaming the filepaths is so tedious. I did change two voice slots of a other mod that adds slots, as that mod doesnt use the same mild/medium/hot filenames, but heck maybe I do one every day as that kinda work is making me die inside.

I made a ritual out of it.

add new , pos1 key, add new, pos1 key.... 20.30 times
then copy paste, change the last number, rince repeat.

I got quite fast lol, but still tiring and there is a lot of slots and voices :D

But I do it bit by bit when I m in the mood.

Extracting moans from porn videos is similarly tiring but at least more entertaining, hehe.

I am asking out of curiousity (and not to point a finger). Is it OK to post voicepacks that has been ripped of ...you know... video clips from the net? Off course, I know it is not legal when it comes to copyrights, but....

What are you peoples opinion on that? I have filled all sexlab extra voices with custom female sounds and also replaced all voices in nusbie`s voices. But I haven`t shared any of them because of my concerns.
