What mods would you recommend me?

Hey!

I have Skyrim V Legendary Edition and am pretty new to modding.

I'd like to ask what mods, both adult and non-adult, would you recommend me to get the most of the game.

Thanks!

Along the same lines you should look at this:

These are not about the mods themselves, at least, not the ones you "play" with. The STEP guide and Donttouchmethere's blog are about getting those things that you will need when you are ready to get the type of mods that you're asking about and still have a stable (not crashing every 5-10 minutes) game.

Since I know there is a bewildering amount of mods out there, I'll be a little more diplomatic with my answer. You've not been exactly forthcoming with what you want from your game so, just what I would consider the basics.

Get a mod installer/organiser.

The preferred choice is Mod Organiser but I still use the Nexus one, an outdated Nexus one at that... oops.

You are going to need is SKSE - This allows for all the mods that use in custom scripts to run.

Custom Skeleton - XPMSE because everything uses it

Then FNIS to add custom animations

Then some Body replacers; for female bodies, Bodyslide UUNP or CBBE, I prefer UUNP, they are probably even when it comes to armours for them but CBBE has a lot of other support the UUNP doesn't, like CoS.

For male bodies, either Schlongs of Skyrim or SAM (Shape Atlas for Men)

And then something to give you more customisation over your character, Racemenu or ECE - My preference would be Racemenu but ECE makes some amazing faces.

I would start with that. Read the instructions of each one and their requirements. Get comfortable with adding mods and where files are going when you install them and what you can and can't overwrite. Like the XPMSE skeleton, if something wants to overwrite it then it's normally best to say No... In fact I can't think of a time when you should say Yes on that one.

After that skies the limit...OK 252 is the limit, without merges but that's a long way off for you at the moment.

Try looking at Brodul's channel. One of the best places to seek mods in my opinion.

And for Adult Mods, SexLab Index. Pretty helpful.

you can also go and seek out mxr mods or really any other youtuber that reviews skyrim mods and go through their vids and get what you like

in mod organizer there are no overwrites between mods - each one is kept in separate folder and you can choose which one's files load by adjusting their priority. not that ive seen anything attempt to overwrite the skeleton. aside from racemenu and ece there are also charmers of the reach now as third option

there are thousands of skyrim mods so if you really want seriously modded skyrim you will have to invest effort into reading and browsing

some mods are huge, some are little and it's up to you how far you want to take it

you will propably notice the biggest difference for the lowest amount of effort by going with a body replacer (i suggest cbbe), some armor mods for that body, character creation overhaul (i suggest racemenu); you can then improve upon that by learning to use bodyslide, import faces and presets, textures etc.

for general look of game world - definitely ENB

for gameplay - perk overhaul (Perkus maximus is my recommendation, you can also check out ordinator, requiem is a perk overhaul and complete game overhaul at the same time so read up on what it does and see if you like that)

always remember to read the prerequisites for each mod you download and install (especially setting up ENB can take a while) and then you can slowly start expanding your mod collection

There are a few mods that try to overwrite the skeleton, usually because they come with it. SOS, off the top of my head, is one. Or at least was.

Charmers of the Reach is sadly not an option right now, unless someone sends you the last version available, it's been pulled.
