a permanent compulsion to return to your master every few days (with debilitating consequences if you don't), even if you've managed to escape that relationship.  You're permanently cursed.  I personally don't see any advantage to taking the deal unless you're tiring of your game and looking to steer your character toward a bad end.  The deal won't end your ability to keep playing, of course, but you're stuck with this forever, which could lead a character into despair and other bad decisions.

 

thanks for the info I did not pick up on before (I usually take around 30h to tweak all options from all mods as I want my gameplay tweaked perfectly

I've been playing around with speech synthesizers (a.k.a. AI voice generators) and one of them yielded interesting results. Presenting voice-over for Devious Followers. This voice differs from any vanilla characters, so your follower will sound differently. Some lines in scenes are not voices because either I missed them, or they require a specific characters voice that I could not recreate. Should be compatible with SE/AE.

I'm having a weird issue if anyone has an idea what's going on.  When I equip the heavy or mage whore armors my body and the armor go invisible, but the light armor works fine.  I also have the bikini armor mod and the armors that use the same models as the heavy and mage armors work fine.  What's even weirder is that it was working fine a few days ago, and I don't think I've done anything that should overwrite the files from this mod.  I've tried rebuilding the armors in bodyslide but that didn't fix it.

Hmm, you don't happen to have custom whore armour toggled? The armours looking strange would be normal, just the original DF meshes overwriting TAWOBA, but them being invisible is more confusing.

 

If you double click on the mod in Mod Organizer, how does the conflicts tab look?

I don't have the custom whore armour toggled.  I just tested toggling it on and asking for a new set to see but it was still invisible.

 

I'm using Vortex instead of MO and I'm using the CBBE versions of the armor.  I have over 500 mods so my conflicts tab is quite the mess, but everything involving DF and TAWOBA looks sorted fine.  I'm just confused because it was working a few days ago, the light armour still works and the actual bikini armours that use the same meshes are still working.  My game is also lagging when I try equipping or unequipping the broken armours.  Maybe my Skyrim is just starting to break.

Is there a way to turn off the robo voices, and just have silence? It really takes me out of it, especially considering most other mods use silence

I turned off DevFollowersVoiceMore.esp and don't have any voice packs installed, but it seems the lines are still voiced

I have no idea which extra mods you are using. This mod comes with no voice at all. The voicepacks I'm aware of are here

Debt 1 gold, contract time has expired, no deals. It is impossible to pay off a debt of 1 gold and fire a partner. Any ideas on what to do?

As far as I remember, it's impossible to get rid of your one follower the vanilla way. You need to either pause the mod in the MCM and/or purge the follower via some framework (assuming that it's not one of thise new followers that bring their own framework)

Been a while since I used this mod because it really needs a bugfix.

There's an MCM option that makes it impossible to pay the final bit of debt unless you're in a walled city. Perhaps that's turned on/bugged?

Hi guys,

 

have an issue I need help with. When I go to the palace in white run my follower puts me in a petsuit. I start a conversation with him and he says "go present yourself to the Jarl"-> I talk to the Jarl and he says something that ends with "this one seems to be ready for breeding". After that, I can no longer move or turn my camera and am stuck, the scene does not progress. I have multiple deals active with various devices at that point and all other parts of the skyrim menu still work- just can't move and can't turn the camera. Not sure if anyone else had this problem- would be grateful for any suggestions. Also- what is supposed to be happening next? Which deal triggers this side quest inside the Jarl's palace? Is there a command that I can use to unstuck me/ proceed with the scene? Again any help would be much appreciated.

Is that the scene where the guards help your DF to put you in a petsuit, and afterwards you can only bark?

IIRC the Jarl's dog should hump you. If that dog is stuck, you're stuck, too.  Your console log or papyrus log might tell you more.

Did you tick "animal animations" in the Sexlab MCM, and do you have some canine animations in SLAL? Otherwise, don't go to the Jarl's palace until you've triggered one of the other two scenes (wearing boots or a blindfold in a dungeon triggers these)

Thx for the color. Yes I have animal animations turned on and canine ones active that I have seen work for the merchant scenes- so maybe it's another mod or the jarl's dog died 🙂 will look for the log messages next

Ok, here is the papyrus log. Looking at it I can only imagine that maybe devious training is causing a problem because it is doing so much. Will try to disable the mod and try this again. Please let me know if you spot anything more specific in the log file

OK, this is the papyrus log with DT being turned off during the scene- same problem. The last issue I see in here towards the end that Sexlab aroused seems also to be generating issues- but not sure if that is the root cause. Maybe the Jarls dog just died when I wasn't looking..

is not - DTM is happily updating your body size. But I don't see anything unusual in that papyrus.log

Maybe an expert has some ideas, I'm just a plain mod user, no modder.

Thanks for the help. You're right. It is impossible to fire a companion. It's a pity. We'll have to put the mod aside until it's fixed.

I think the feature is working as intended. The intent is to make it difficult to hire a follower and then immediately dismiss them. This mod has different events that occur while traveling with the follower so the mod wants you to keep the follower with you for long enough to see the events occur.
 

I just wait a day which causes the debt to grow such that you can pay then dismiss the follower.

 

Or you can also simply add some debt via the mod’s MCM Debug page to get over the threshold.
