[mod] Sexy Male Xenos - WIP

Sexy Male Xenos - WIP

Preamble:

I just added the "portraits only"-mod for you. The next step will be to change some things in the original mod to be more interesting.

Old stuff:

This mod based on two mods:

1. Hard requirement: [Stellaris] Lustful Void - WIP

2. Soft requirement: Plentiful Traditions 2.3.3 (I suggest to get also Perks and if you like, Districts.)

Special thanks to @Lithia<3 and @Toronam for helping / allowing me to use the content.

It is WIP, so just some things I'm done yet:

  • English and German translation
  • Portraits, only males.
  • Two civics for regular empires.
  • Some traits from my former mod STEDES (you can find it on the workshop...)
  • A new policy (needs to be researched).
  • New building for milking males and every organic that is not "only female"
  • A new strategic ressource (lubricants)
  • A not quite done small crises from ... nah, dont want to spoil too much :D
  • Translation (German) for Lustful Void
  • One new namelist (Shemales)
  • More will follow...

Hells to the yeah!

Had a bit of a play around with this, love it. The milking building seems very strong, pop a few of them on a planet and suddenly the pop growth is ridiculous :D Excellent job though. Next time I get the itch for a proper game, can't wait to see all the little things like the policy etc. Looking forward to the next version! ^^

Well im having a bit of trouble with one of the events in the game.  Caves on a planet.  People keep going missing in it.  Have tried all the options when they come up.  Ignore it and nothing happens, except another pop goes missing and the choice dialogue opens up again.  Send a scientist ALWAYS ends up with a dead scientist.  Ive lost 5 of them to the event now (I know know why 5? should have learned after 3rd or 4th one right, but I keep hoping they will "discover" whats going on and bring an end to it, along with some kind of reward, like maybe catching those insect guys or something) and keep digging does sometimes add the things to the planet it offers, but uhm I now have more mountains and mesas and undersea ore lands than you can shake a stick at.  They easily add more industrial sectors, than the size of the planet can support (size 17 btw, so its not like a small habital moon or something)  Is there anyway to complete, end this event other than blowing up the colony?  I get the creepy sensation that those insect guys are "borging" my colonist and that sooner or later, their gona over run the planet and take the star system or something. Cool idea, if 1. it was preventable and 2. there was a warning label on the box so to speak of.  Not what I was expecting though tbh.

Overall, good job so far. But I think some constructive criticism is in order, if you don't mind. I mostly ignored the gay stuff since its not my cup (actually, I haven't seen anything gay... a bunch of dicks getting milked is not gay in my book, just natural ?), but I like the MaleDom/FemSub stuff (being a straight Top in RL, this comes naturally I assume ? )  and focused on the stuff were gender doesn't matter or, in my book, should not matter.

Although I'm a German speaker myself, I'll keep it in English.

1. The two civics, Maledom and Femdom, give way too many freebie traits to the submissive species. My breeder cows started with -12 traitpoints. This means a serious advantage against other species in the growth department (since almost all free traits have positive growth modifiers and some habitability modifiers), the single most significant stat in the game. Also, the mandatory traits for the dominant species are also too many (especially FemDom. MaleDom is somewhat bearable), forcing you to take negative traits during empire creation.

I see two ways to fix that:

- The obvious one is scaling it down to just Dominant for the DomSpecies and Submissive for the SubSpecies (a case for Sadistic and Masochistic additionally can be made) After all, what has Dominance and Submission to do with big dicks and tits?

- Build a narrative around them, with special events and stuff. Then those civics would be cool for roleplaying.

2. As already mentioned, the lubricant building is way too strong, almost as bad as the early dairy buildings in base LV. And needing a resource as upkeep for the job that is producing said resource in the first place doesn't make sense => scrap the lubricant upkeep for the milkee jobs. But aside from that, since jobs can't be separated by gender, the building breaks immersion for me.

Again two ways:

- Keep the actual texts about the building gender neutral like the dairy (the fanservice for dick pics can be implemented in the way the fanservice for tit pics is implemented in base LV: events concerning those buildings)

- Gate the building behind a civic. For example, MaleDom may have a building that give the jobs on the specialist level (or even ruler level... semen from the planetary nobility should be worth something, don't you think...), resulting in males only (at least until xenos get incorporated), while FemDom has the building on the worker level (can't fully prevent the odd female getting her not existing dick milked, but it lowers the possibility at least). If you go this way, I also suggest a way for producing lubricants regardless of gender, maybe not as efficient as the "specialist" ways.

On a side node: semen... actually all body fluids, are the exact opposite of a lubricant. Even vaginal secretion or slug slime as soon as it starts to dry out, which is fast... just saying ?

3. Your techs are gated behind the epigenetic trigger tech, which is not a good idea. This tech will only be available when Pre-Sapients are encountered, which is not a given. Also, the dimensional restraints tech (and the lewd mechas I visualize as EVA/Gundam/BattleMech with permanently plugged in wetware I get with this tech) sounds more like something I would assume in the Engineer or Physics branch, not in Social.

Hope I could give you some food for thought. Keep up the good work, the LV galaxy need more dicks so that the gender ratio is actually even.

thanks Abominus for your quick change of the mod for me.  lol I wasn't really expecting you to add or change anything.  Was just wondering if I was missing something.  Mostly cause replacing scientist all the time was getting aggrevating and expensive.

I decided to pick up this mod cause it did have the "gay" stuff others have mentioned.  Simply put there just isn't much out there, game play mechanic wise (a few lovely species mods though, don't want to shut those guys down.)  So I am happy with all the fanservice you care to throw our way lol.  I already had a mod you put up on steam which if I remember right you were remaking from some other popular but abandoned mod.  And it is great, from the quality of the mod there (think its called plentiful traditions?) I expected some great things here too lol.  No pressure, just meant I was already comfortable with you skills/talent mod wise.  I do like the "milking" idea, not because it in anyway makes sense in reality but becuase it is pervy and off sets LVs milkers for the fems.  I agree with another poster though, unless Lubricants has a use out side of being used by the item producing it, it might be best to go and use LVs idea of just generating trade and happiness resources (or just straight creds for hives since they don't get either).  Finally I do like you added events.  Unlike LVs yours are not quiet as grapie (ugh is that even a word?) and I appreciate the new artwork you included with it, even though its not Up to Par with everything else.  It shows you put in personal effort in an area you arnt particularly talented in.  Most people would not have even tried, so kudos = )

Last request, can you tell me where in your mod (folder(s), file) you changed the points for species traits.  I had mine set at 10 points, 20 picks, so I could take advantage of a lot of different things the mods I have installed have to offer, yours set it t 4 / 10 which is no where near enough for me lol  I always do uplifts and species modification in all my game, so missing out on all those picks really limits what you can do with them.

Thank you for your support. If you like, you can send me a corrected version of the building-file. But first I will edit some of your ideas to make it more interesting.

Umm.. it could be like a chain event with some "preset" outcomes that could fit the needs of a empire.

Also, is the "ants" event (the latex ants yeah, I think I know why are so "popular") isn't finished? I ask because I tried the 3 outcomes (and even adding the "support" I still see code)

No offense intended, first off, but I was just asking if it's at all possible to get a version of the mod in the downloads section that is *just* for the races, without any of the extra features/mechanics? My game is already fairly cluttered with new buildings, traits and civics, so I'm trying to keep things slim - I just really would like to use the species here, lol.

that fits with the whole exploring a cave system idea ?  I honestly am still trying to figure out how to handle them.  Is there a chance they are ever "friendly" or is it just always a case of loose your star system to them, and being unable to declare war or even talk to them after?
