From playing around in CAS all of my sliders seem to be working fine, I don't think I use any luumia sliders.

Turns out other people have though and googling it it actually turns out adult sims are supposed to be more in the range of between 6'0" and 6'1" or exactly 6' tall as the first google result says. So I think I've decided to more or less reset my sims' heights using this new assumption. Compared with a child sim (who is probably supposed to be around 4') it does perhaps look a bit more reasonable, I chose one of my taller male sims (6'4") and one of my shortest female sims (~4'11"-4'12") as comparison, on the left is with my old assumption and on the right with the new exactly 6' tall baseline. As you can see the relative height difference between the adults is unchanged, but they are both shorter compared to the child sim. There's a couple of benefits, first in that this is probably better scaled comapred to objects in the world, and second that I will have to make less use of very high sldier values for taller sims. The second is good becuase with the slider I'm using very tall sims become stretched and you can't really make them as wide, they become tall and somewhat thin or stretched, so this is better for tall and muscular sims. Not really of much interest to anyone who doesn't use the same height slider that I use, but I'm probably going to be moving all my sims over to this new scaling I've worked out rather than the old one, which means any updated or new sims will be using the new height scaling. Also the stated heights of some of my sims are going to change somewhat with this because I stilll want to keep it all in the 13/25/38/50/... intervals for my slider values which, with a different 0-value means that some of the heights thes values correspond to will change. For instance Linnie is more like 4'11/4'12 now with the new scaling rather than 5'0", and there's a couple of other changes as well. I even made a table... Is this the only Height Slider that uses numerical value? I would like to use it but sadly it's not supported by WW.

Which is easy to do using MCCC with the height slider I have because it replaces a base game slider.

Oh man, I've been tinkering with MCCC for the ones that WW support such as Redheadsims and Luumia sliders. but they don't use base game sliders so it doesn't work unfortunately. simmythesim which is very similar to one you use is no longer supported either ugh.. thanks for replying tho, do you know of any other height sliders out there?

I don't know about any height sliders you haven't mentioned. I've tried a couple of different ones (I believe Readhead and Luumia like you mentioned) but ultimately prefer the old foot slider replacement.

Yea I gave up, I tried adding the one you use and each one of the sliders mentioned above together to see if I can somehow confuse WW. that also didn't work. so I'm just going to call it quits.

At least to updating sims, I've got a few more mods I want to get updated before I go about updating my save game, but I'll see to it to upload some sims in the mean time. I already made a post where I detailed the thought process of how I put together my version of the Landgraab family, so I hope I'll be forgiven if I mostly just paste that in here. So in Sims 4 we've got the Landgraab family living in Oasis Springs, Nancy Landgraab and her husband Geoffrey along with their teenage son Malcolm. These same sims are also in Sims 3, with Malcolm as a child. In my version I've chosen to base the adults on their sims 3 version, where Geoffrey is a friendly and mild-mannered doctor, while Nancy is a ruthless businesswoman, Malcolm retains his Sims 4 characterization mostly. Now I get alot of inspiration from my reimagined Maxis sims by looking at the wiki (to compensate for not really having played any of the older games, besides a very little bit of Sims 3) and it turns out the Landgraabs have appeared multiple times in games across the series, in many different versions. In Sims 2 for instance there is a Malcolm Landgraab IV who lives alone in a big mansion and is the descendant of Malcolm Landgraab III, II and so forth. But there's more portrayals yet. On the gallery is a Landgraab family with teen Malcolm from Oasis Springs aged up, married to "Mom" Landgraab and with two children called Dudley and Mimi. These are characters from one of the Sims handheld or console games (can't quite remember now). Though I realize that Maxis with this specified that Oasis Springs Malcolm is the evil tycoon Malcolm Landgraab who appears in other games, I decided to have some fun and instead include these as separate sims to expand the family yet more. So we have another Malcolm Landgraab, Nancy's older brother, who's married to Mom and has two useless layabout kids in Dudley and Mimi Landgraab. In their characteriation from the handheld games, Dudley has essentially been disinherited due to his lazy, irresponsible nature and lives in a trailer, while Mimi is a socialite of sorts living in the city and more interested in partying and wastign away her family's money than anything else (Mimi has red hair in the gallery version, but I made her blonde like she was in her first apperance, though she doesn't otherwise look that much like how she looked in either game). I've decided to drop Johnny Zest from the picture and have Dudley Landgraab take his place living in a trailer in Oasis Springs. In a way teen Malcolm (Nancy's son) is his uncle and grandfather's true heir (as Dudley and Mimi are pretty useless). Like in base game Sims 4 he'll be a teen sim, but I'm strongly considering aging him up to a young adult and putting him in university once I get to the point where I add my other college student sims. I also think it'd be flavorful to add a building or two to Britechester named after members of the Landgraab family to mark this as a place where they've got serious clout and influence. As for "Mom" Landgraab she's an aged up version of sim you might have seen me post pictures of in the female sim sharing thread. I figured that a fun characterization for her would be as a former super model trophy wife who still enjoys a bit of fading fame. mrrakkonn Posted June 12, 2020 Author Posted June 12, 2020 Virginia Buckingham (young version of "Mom" Landgraab) Here's a bonus of sorts that comes out of the Landgraab family above (though you don't need the Landgraab Family archive to use this sim). As I mentioned above I decided that I thought an interesting characterization of "Mom" Landgraab was that she was originally Malcolm Landgraab's trophy wife and used to be a super model back in the day, which is why I decided to use an edited version of a sim I had made earlier, but never really gotten around to finishing or using, to make her. Since I've been asked about this sim occasionally since I posted pics of her I decided that I might just as well upload the original, not washed-up version of her as well for those interested. I named her "Virginia Buckingham" after one of the Landgraab ancestors in Sims 2, as I thought it sounded like a pretty damn good "model name". I also had the name "Hannelore" suggested to me as that was the name of the sim who was essentially this character in a family in Sims 3, but in the end I decided that I liked Virginia Buckingham better. mrrakkonn Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 Lydia Youssef As I'm having to wait a little bit to continue updating my world, I decided I might just as well upload this sim in the meantime. She's a redone version of one of my old uploaded sims, Lydia Youssef, and I think the new version turned out looking pretty good. She's actually one of the sims I've had around the longest, but she's been out of the loop for a quite a while. I've typically had her hang around Linnie, Candace and that whole crew, though she's perhaps a bit more of a "nice girl" compared to those I guess. Lydia's sporty and athletic and enjoys competition and working out. She's been to university and has a degree in art history, but didn't really care much for academic work, instead being more interested in playing on the soccer team and attending social events, though many of her close friends did not attend college themselves. Although she does indeed have a degree, she still has the job she worked part-time as a student, working as a customer service representative, whether she'll keep on doing that or find something else to do with her life remains to be seen. UPDATE 3/13/21: Updated for December 2020's update which changed how skintones and makeup works. I also switched out the tattoo on her arm and changed a couple of her outfits slightly, those changes are previewed in the spoiler below, lookbook otherwise is left as it was as mostly the other changes are minimal. I'm going to put together a full gang (2 bodygards, 2 enforcers, 3 gang members) and probably also a dedicated bartender (probably an elder I think, might also make some family for him as this guy as well and variously put them in the gang or bartending) for the gang hideout. Here's the members I've currently put together the basics of. Names might be pending, but some of these are based on characters from old sims games. Giuseoppi Mezzoalto, Vincenzo Grosso, Rollo Tommasi (took the name from the movie L.A. Confidential), Tommy Cappelletti (generated as Alisha Cappelletti's brother). EDIT: Jimmy "the Neck", he's a mob bodyguard from one of the handheld or console games, probably about as close as I can get it while still having something of a "realistic" appearance, in contrast to his appearance in the game where he is full on cartoonish. EDIT2: Made some edits to him and think I got a better look (right picture). Looking awesome! Any plans on making a family in La Cosa Simstra's rival gang (Simkuza)? I think it could help expand the world a bit. Maybe Victor Feng from City Living would be great option as leader for the Simkuza, but since you are reworking on Sims from previous games I think the Cho Family would fit the bill. (And maybe you can integrate/update an older Sim of yours, Kelly Cho) 1

She's half Japanese and I generated an uncle for her a while back now, that I'm probably going to finish off for this when I get around to this. Here's a picture of him. Other members of the gang will likely be based on various different sources, one that I might be using is the Grand Theft Auto games. Anyway it will still be some time before I get to doing this. 3

I've also looked into basing characters from the Leone Crime Family from GTA III. Currently I've put together a "non-canon" (well, all of this is non-canon anyway so I don't think introducing some new family members is a step too far really) son (older than Holly) for Nick Alto, partly based off the son of the mob boss in GTA III, who's not that interested in taking over the business, but owns and operates an auto-repair shop (in addition to being more of a small-time criminal). Again, not canon, but I like the look I got for him. Then I have a sim I also put together loosely based on Frankie Fusilli from the Sims 2 for the GBA. He doesn't have much of a characterization in that game it seems apart from being a mob boss, and Nick Alto has that job in my world, so he can't get that. So I looked into the Leone Crime Family from GTA III again and am now throwing in elements of the character Tony Cipriani as well, while likely keeping the name "Frankie Fusilli", since he eventually takes over the Leone Crime Family in that game, it sort of makes sense for Frankie Fusilli who is a mob boss (in the gang he'll then probably be an enforcer and have a high relationship with Nick Alto and a low one with Bert). Going with that I've also generated a mean (hopefully) overbearing mother for him. A holdover from Frankie Fusilli is that I've assigned one of my unfinished sims (who I like the look of but couldn't quite find a role for) as his daughter to stand in for Ara Fusilli 3

mrrakkonn Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 Alto Family Here's yet another big Maxis sim family makover. Like with the Landgraabs I've taken various incarnations of the family's different members and put them together in my own reimagination, with the overall purpose of course being to work towards putting them in an upcoming version of my world. The big thing here, and not implemented here, is that I took the fact that the Altos is a pretty obvious spoof of the Sopranos and used that as the basis for making Nick the head of the Cosa Simstra gang in the mod Basemental Gangs rather than the immoral businessman he was back in Sims 3. Unfortunately saving a family to the gallery does not record gang members, gang hideouts and such so I decided to leave that out of this sim upload, though he does have maxed out cocaine dealing skill to allow hinm to start a gang straight away for those interested. I also need to finish the gang members, who I will likely upload here eventually as I finish them. When I finish putting the Altos into my world, Nick Alto will be leading a fully set up gang with members, hideout and everything, which should be pretty neat and not something you can save in a gallery household unfortunately. Vita and Holly by contrast are much as they were in the Sims 3, Vita being ambitious and evil, and Holly being really nice and socially responsible in stark contrast to her parents. Also included in the family is Bert Alto, who appeared as Nick's brother, who was a former lawyer on the run who had taken up a life of crime. In my reimagination he's still a lawyer, though a really crooked one who's deeply involved in his brother's mob business as his legal expertise and lack of scruples makes him a valued (if maybe dangerous) advisor. I also figured out a fun storyline to implement for him the world when I get to that which is to say that he handled the divorce suit between Mom Landgraab and Malcolm II, securing for her several properties from Malcolm Landgraab's real estate empire and scoring Bert Alto a profitable romantic relationship. This would also give some justification to keep the Landgraab-Alto rivalry from the Sims 3 going. Another incarnation I chose to include and re-imagine was the family of Alfonso Alto from Isla Paradiso in Sims 3. There he is a resort mogul, I decided to do away with that in my portrayal and make him an investor in the business track but instead choose to imply that instead of investing in resorts, his thing here is investing in nightclubs and other nightlife establishments throughout my world. Going with this characterization also made him a pretty good candidate as the sim who would own and operate the strip club I've made when I put it into my world. In the Sims 3, Alfonso Alto has a wife, Lopita Alto and he's romantically involved with another woman, Florita Hernandez, I plan to include these as well, but did not have them done yet for this upload so they'll be coming separately as an "add-on" if you will (EDIT: this is now available). In Isla Paradiso he also has a daughter, Ashley, and though Lopita is her mother, the wiki says the family tree shows that she is not her biological mother, but rather her step-mother, I'm going with this for my characterization of Ashley and Lopita, partly because it gives me a lot more freedom in how I put together Lopita. As for Ashley I've ended up changing her up quite a bit, though still somewhat keeping in my the bio blurb on her from Sims 3 "Pretty, stylish, and a bit of daredevil Ashley is oblivious to her parents marital woes". After a recent redesign I was really happy with her appearance and I decided to age her up to a young adult (instead of being a teen) and like, Mimi Landgraab, have her be a bit of a budding socialite, the daughter of a big-time nightlife mogul who uses her father's money, properties and connections to hang out with famous people and get into exclusive parties. With that in mind, and again looking towards how I implement sims in my world, I though it might be fun to team her up with Mimi Landgraab, making the two roommates in San Myshuno who sort of signal-boost each other as they go about partying away their families' money. Fuck it, I'll retconn them out of my game and have them replaced... Although I won't wait on the wife being done. He'll just have to charm one of the boatload of your other single women I already have in my world if he needs a wife. ? 1

Alfonso's wife Lopita Alto (probably orginally Ojeda, according to the wiki) and his lover Florita Hernandez (a divorcee) are coming along well enough though, shouldn't be too long, or that big of an upload. More similar to those townies and extended family uploads I've done. 4

Also i'm positive i've installed everything but some sims get items removed and some are added without clothes. Maybe it's just me lol i'm new to modding ?

Don't know about the no money issue, I guess I've noticed something similar in that sometimes when I set up households they have negative funds when I load in. Never really thought about why that was, I just cheat to fix it anyway. I'd recommend googling it to see what causes it, I don't know myself, and it's not really something that's bothered me. As for missing items. I assume by intalling everything you have installed the shared CC and the CC for the sims themselves? Also check out the main download post as it also lists some mods I use that I have not included, mainly nude details, if you want those you have to add them in yourself. Missing items might also be from game packs and expansion packs, I've got a number of those (I don't have Moschino stuff, Strangerville, Magic, Tiny Living and Eco Living, among a couple of others, but most others I have) and I use items from those, so if you're missing thiose then the items will not load. Always recommend to load up sims in CAS and "fix" them so they fit in your game, for instance by editing or deleting outfits with missing items.

I didn't go to the effort of actually looking at the Wikis, and I never played sims 3. I just knew there was supposted to be a rivalry with the Landgraabs, then I used Holly Alto from get famous and created her father and mother from her genetics, edited them a bit, and then made Don Alto, the head of the family, an elder, from Holly's father's genetics. Also a brother for Holly from her parents. The version I made wasn't exactly bad, I just didn't put a huge amount of effort into it, and then never ended up playing it, serving more as window dressing in my world. Yeah, I meant Alfonso's wife, just to be clear. All members who are supposted to be in the upload are there. 19 minutes ago, Alka-Seltzer said: I'm having a weird issue. Most seem to have about 5000 for me, some as low as 1200 IIRC. When you say "none" do you mean that literarly or do you mean "less than they should have"? 1
