@psychoqwirk420

Not using PRP atm, mostly cause there is some confusion as to does the Scrap Everything patch works or not, so I'll probably hold off installing PRP until either a new Scrap Everything patch is made, or I get better at making patches and bored/interested enough to try and do one myself. In the mean time recent PC upgrades are kind of brute force and ignorancing through stutters and stuff (and some how, even though I'm running FO4 from a PCIe x4 NVMe which is about 12 times faster than the SSD I used to use, it still stutters on disk reads...)

There are some really interesting patches on that link, including fixes for stuff I been suffering from. Nice find.

Does bodytalk work with the modded armours like eli armour compendium or do you need to manually convert them in outfit studio. I know this might not be the place to ask but on the zax discord there is a conversion guide I saw, but I was wondering if there is a place to find conversions that have been made already.

That is really weird because for me at least I had no issues installing those mods as the FOMOD worked correctly. I don't really know what could be causing that issue. Maybe a corrupted download but if its for more than one mod that is unlikely. I am not that experienced though so someone could have a better idea but when I installed those mods the FOMOD worked correctly.

@PirateKing456788

In general armor mods work out of the box with bodytalk. It will only look better if there is a preset for bodytalk available.

@chabp

Big pictures belong in spoilers!

Sounds like a broken download or you need to update MO2. Just retested it and it is working fine.

Don't you already have Biohazard Suit Redux in your list already, just as Biohazard Suit? Both point to the same page on nexus.
Of its a newer version of what you have installed, then I've been runnng the newer version. If so, the newer version caused a CTD the first time I used a hazmat suit after installing this version, but after disposing of old hazmat suits and picking up new ones, it seems to be fine. Could be because it uses different names (biohazard rather than hazmat). Does look very nice.

Editted to add: oh, and it can make you a hairless naked person, but only if the suit doesn't have a visor (just go to a armor workbench and add to the suit).

Way back on page 1, you mentioned reporting working CC content. Heres my list:
VR Workshop, Arcade Workshop, Modern Furniture, and Home Decor - works fine, kind of expected. Its settlement build stuff only.

Neon Flats - works fine, although I haven't tested with Immersive Gunners Plaza Exterior (it puts a terminal on the roof as part of its quest), minor issue with a door in Goodneighbor (that I made a patch for). AFAIK no bodyslide for the outfits yet.

Coffee and Donuts - minor issue of a coffee crafting bench being stuck behind a fire in Monsignors Plaza, but nothing game breaking (its only there as decor) Not found any FG (or CBBE) bodyslides yet.

Pint-Size Slasher - no problems found, no bodyslide found yet. Just very disappointed its a full outfit, I just wanted the pint-sized slasher mask)
Nuka-Cola Collector - no problems found, there is a CBBE bodyslide, but no FG yet.

Shroud Manor - no problems found (with your list - but if you use Workshop Rearranged it will cause a CTD on certain menus in settlement build mode regardless of your mod list. I've managed to fix it, but haven't made the fix a patch yet). No CBBE or FG bodyslides for outfits found yet.

Captain Cosmos - quest works fine, Hub 360 location has no problems, the redemption machines don't cause any problem, Not found any FG bodyslides yet.

Settlement Ambush Kit - workshop items work fine, haven't tested the settlement attack part, or the remote cameras yet (because this run has been weridly quiet on the settlement attacks - I've hit level 83 and only had 2 attacks, both at settlements I haven't built up yet)

@misterpipes

Looks like he changed the name and the pics so i mistook it for a new mod. And i was using an old version too (time to update ;)). Thanks for the info.

I'll update the informations for the CC too.

I have a crash on load after finishing curtain call, more precisely going down the trinity tower by the elevators makes any save created after that to crash the game. I just installed the "wepon debris crash fix" advised just in the previous post by luck, maybe it helps because it allowed me to reach the 2nd elevator and the saves are still reliable, which is a 1st time. But sadly when I reach the floor level and finish the quest the bug is back, crash on load for any new save.

So I'll try again to go from this 2nd elevator later, but later because I am fed up with crashes for now and the game is quite slow to load the save...

Really an annoyance anyway, read on the net that some people have stopped playing fallout4 after this specific quest because of the bugs they had in trinity tower, and they probably didn't even have all these fixes... !

edit : finally made it through, I followed an advice found on the net, try to stay as close as possible to the gates and fire as little as possible. I was hit once which sent me flying towards the button of the lift so I thought it would fail, but it worked for some reason, I could finally mad a save still reliable after this quest completed, finally !!! What a mess anyway, and I don't know precisely what triggers this crash, but it's horrible !

I might of spoke to soon about Biohazard Suit Redux. It was working for me, but when I went to use it just now it would CTDs every time I put it on. Having debugged it, I'm now not sure why it was working for me earlier, it shouldn't have. But I have fixed it. Turns out, I'm dumb and needed a fusion girl conversion for the redux version.
Using this (Biohazard Suit Redux - Fusion Girl Conversion) with the redux version seems to have sorted it.

Editted to add: Biohazard Suit Redux can ESL flagged.

Checking out 'LoD for All'. With its three options (Performout, Average and Ultimate) there should be an option for everyone.

Added a bit more text to the description of 'Buffout'. It should be clearer now.

You might eventually want to add "fusion core refueler" from there : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15840?tab=description

to address the fact that the charge of these fusion cores is ridiculously short, it's fusion technology after all, it should probably be counted in years !

Making them to last forever might be overkill, but this mod is a good compromise, it takes 2 nuclear materials to relaunch the fusion reaction and recharge them, + it requires a ton of aluminium to be built, but it's still a convenient option, especially when you need these power armours to go somewhere with a ton of radiations ! + the way the machine works is quite fun to see !

Posted (edited)

I have mixed feelings on that "fusion core refueler". On the one hand, I like the idea of refueling fusion cores, because I'm always concerned about running out, on the other, I already have over 120 fully charged ones already, which will last a while (especially with Nuclear Physicist). But it could make power armour much more attractive early on.

So I'm now in snagging mode, picking at the few things that are bugging me before I start a longer term run. The main one is ghouls. All the (non-feral) ghouls are wearing underwear, and my attempts to fix that have generally lead to rusty faces. So is there a skin texture that doesn't break other face textures that fixes this?

Oh, and I'm not really happy with cridowskins freckles. It kinda looks like (to my eyes) theres a bits of scarring under the freckles, and some of them look more like moles. Does anyone know of a similar/better set?

I gave up my 1st power armor in the middle of the carvega assembly plant with its fusion core at only 1% charge !

I didn't expect to go and fetch it later, but I hadn't played the main quest here, so when I heard about the luminescent sea and its radiations and the best way to resist them was the power armor, I started to get info on where to find these stupid fusion cores. The best place is probably the "fort hagen satellite array", I found 1 there on a robot which attacked me, and then 4 in an ammunition box, which gave me 5 fully charged fusion cores ! At this point I went and recovered the armor, but it's a good idea to have an alternative at this point of the game rather than being obliged to search them.

I guess the more you progress in the game the more common they become, but at this point it's nice !

They become fairly common items from ammo boxes at around lv40+, especially in military locations,  and from other places that can have ammo somewhere around lv50ish from what I remember, though anything that can increase the amount of ammo you gain/find will increase the chances of them dropping, to be honest I never used power armor after the initial disagreement with the death claw while meeting Preston, till I was around lv40+, there is apart from role play no real reason to do so, though it may well depend on your mod list, as that could make radiation more common or more dangerous in the normal areas.

Oh, once you start Automatron, the various random robot and rust devil robot encounters and attacks have a decent chance of dropping fusion cores as well (and if you haven't patched it, they are about 50% of all random encounters)
