Violated Heroine Download

Does anyone have a valid download link for Violated Heroine or other games like it based on the RPG Maker?

 

I checked Hongfire and all the download links are now invalid. If someone wouldn't mind sharing it that would be great as I need it for something I am working on. I would prefer the game in English is possible.

Side note, the 'creators' or community behind it arn't fond of pre-patched releases... or releases/links other than their own at all. More than once they have threatened to stop working on the game/sharing it openly if this wasn't respected. I disagree with it, but hey, i'm nto one of them.

I am truing to run this but keep getting an error that says RPG???2000??? How exactly do i install/run this?

They do have links to translated versions. But it's a pretty simple process to use Tortise to patch the non English version if you can't find the pre-patched version. The VH Wiki usually stays on top of the newest VH release. It almost seems like they have a new translation the same day it gets released. If you get the pre-patched version, it will save you some room on your HD.

quick question, is the game not really compatible with full screen mode?  when i run it in that mode the screen flashes black for a split second about every 10 seconds.  i'm wondering if it's a resolution/scaling problem?

Could be a variety of things. Could be your monitor going, your GPU going or your resolution for the game is set to high.

I've noticed the same issue. Usually its after using the debug tool or coming out of the menu. Closing and restarting the game usually works. Sometimes you have to go back to an earlier save after restarting VH.

I found something that works.  apparently some vid cards/monitors don't work very well with the program

this worked for me.  if you use the program that lets you run jap Unicode programs than you have to run both the game and the download from the link with Japanese local as administrator

Hello everyone, I just started getting into modding games a few months ago. I just discovered this game and it looks like something I would really enjoy, however im a noob and have no idea where to start with all of this stuff. Is there like a step by step somewhere in how to install this game from start to finish?  All I can find is how to install rpg 2000 rtp in japanese, tells me to run it in local japanese but not how to run it in japanese.  Then it says you need an english rtp, and it just doesn't make any sense...

That didn't help as it is the same exact thing that I already found.  Says to do things certain ways but not how to do it certain ways...

The instructions seems to be very clear, you must do them step by step. I assume your OS is windows. So open the site, do the steps 1 - 4 under the "windows setup" caption and then you can play.

 

You can use the blue links in the text to start the nessesary downloads. And for the windows setting, you could just try google. See here (in case of windows 10): http://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/change-system-locale-in-windows-10.html

In all likelyhood, you're missing the required RTP. You'll need to get the RPG Maker 2000 RTP, likely the japanese version.

i also get a directdraw error whenever i try and go fullscreen

I have problem with my companions on normal version. They just do not move, so i can't finish any quests that requiers escort fe.
