Oh shit WTF Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I know Dovahkiin aka Dragonborn is a powerful warrior and the only hero/ine of Skyrim who can free Skyrim from Alduin's rage, but I wonder, especially for female dragonborn, like "When it comes to fight against buffed and cruel bandits of Skyrim one on three, five, or even ten, can she really take all of them down like heroes and heroines in Avengers movies?" but at the same time, I wonder like "if I pursue immersion, is it immersive that dragonborn, who is, again, a hero/ine in Skyrim, get knocked down and possibly raped and enslaved by bandits who individually are one of weakest characters in Skyrim?" I use all the sexy and skimpy outfit which isn't immersive and I don't care about that really , but I still kinda wanna make the whole story still as immersive and logical as possible. So I really don't know if I should make separate save data for dragonborn roleplay and submissive poor girl roleplay or just combine them together and let dragonborn have chance to be enslaved if she's defeated. Any suggestions or comment? what do you guys think?

I think you couldn't assemble a logically coherent premise.  But okay, I'll play ball.  A hero doesn't charge head-first into overwhelming odds. That's what morons do. In rare cases, when charging into overwhelming odds if the only available option, some rare heroes do that and survive... once... in a single lifetime... maybe. But generally, the smart heroes find a way to prevail. Thankfully (?) Bethesda provided us with an excellent stealth archer gameplay loop to solve virtually all such problems.  A beautiful female Dragonborn may have a slight advantage in overall survivability since the bandits may not kill her, whereas a male Dragonborn might not be as useful as a form of recreation. But that's it. If you go charging your Dragonborn into the frakas knowing that you have subdual mods installed that won't just lead to a loading screen... well whose fault is that?  I mean, I put those mods in because I hate loading screens. I still play with the intent of not activating those mods... but really, how disingenuous is that? I mean, I put them there for a reason. Lets be honest: I didn't install Sexlab, SLA, EC+, Zaz, DD, and 13,000 animations "just in case". For me, I install those mods and just play (Skyrim Unbound), and see what happens. I don't try to put myself in situations, but with survival mods rolled in and a random start, and unlevelled enemies, a certain amount of danger is going to happen no matter how you play it. I usually intend to either be a citizen in the city or a hunter in the wilds. That is my intended core gameplay loop. And then shit happens and I see where it goes from there.  As far as reality... reality is that Nirn is a weird place. The Dragonborn is an very important prophesied thing, and there are dozens of aedra and daedra who don't want the world to end, but also have their foibles and wants for the Dragonborn. Its easy to imagine a world where the Dragonborn survives things they shouldn't. Two dozen deities are watching them like a hawk.
bearlyAlive Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 You don't have to be the Dragonborn, if you want to RP as a more or less helpless maid, just pick an alternative start and never do the quest that reveals you're the Dragonborn. I personally don't like being made into a slave but that's more because it gets in the way of me playing the game. I made a non Dragonborn run where I RP as slaver, sneaking through bandit camps, taking them one by one and train their obedience in my dungeon until I can sell them. Â

27X Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 You're asking for a lore derivation to justify your fetish. Which, from a lore perspective is literally pointless. Todd Howard has stated flatly there is no and never will be a right answer. Â Secondly, this isn't an mp game. What happens on your hard drive stays on your hard drive.

You seem to think "immersive" is an objective term. It isn't. Play the way you want and stop fucking around with bullshit justifications.
PenBoozerX Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I played one playtrough as pure alteration/illusion/resto mage. So basically had next to no combat abilities, and had a companion or two to act as my muscle and armed escort trough skyrim. If they went down, I'd run, and either manage to escape or got run down. It was a really neat playtrough, pretty rough on higher difficulty setting.
NoNickNeeded Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Being overwhelmed by enemy numbers doesn't mean you are any less "heroic". Just take a look at Game of Thrones. There Jamie Lannister and Barriston Selmy - literally the two best fighters alive - are also taken down by being too badly outnumbered by less competent, but very determined enemies. Â No matter how powerful a Dragon is, it's still just a single enemy (or very rarely two), so I don't think it's immersion breaking for a fighter to be able to take down Dragons and still lose by being blindsided by a band of Bandits. Just compare yourself to more realistically written fictional figures and not a PG-13 super hero. Â Or if that's not enough, imagine that your character has bad peripheral vision. He or she is absolutely undefeatable in a one-on-one, but due to a narrower field of vision than most other people, they are very vulnerable to attacks from the side or back, which naturally happen a lot when fighting multiple opponents. Â Or you could imagine that your character has a special ability that siphons power from opponents. The stronger the enemy, the stronger they become. But since Bandits are weak, there's nothing to siphon from them and thus you are left with just your frail mortal physique and thus quite vulnerable. With the Dragonborn basically being a soul-stealer, this actually works quite well within the established backstory too. You always tug on the enemy's souls, but aren't quite able to rip them out and devour them until the enemy's heart stops beating, but you already get a small taste of their powers even during the fight. This would go especially well with a mod that buffs your stats when you devour a Dragon Soul like this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/91566 Â Hmm... I wonder if it was possible to skript together a mod that actually buffs you up when near Dragons or other exceptionally powerful foes like top-tier Daedra or Undead.
DUBALADO Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I do not know if your question is at the suggestion of some mod that fulfills this fetishism or sexual fantasy of you, or an opinion about what we consider immersive. This game is basically perfect your skills, weapons and armors to kill enemies, which with the running of the game become more dangerous. Obviously the limits of the game are broken with the incorporation of weapons or more powerful armor through the mods ... but the game originally is not more than that.
Nazzzgul666 Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Yeah, in my last... 20 games or something i started, i never even heard about dragons. When i actually start to fight anything at all which i didn't do either in a while, an archer build that isn't OP with sneaking works nice too. In exteriors you can still whipe most areas, but indoors where you're lacking the distance you're very vulnerable, so there is enough chance to get beaten.
Oh shit WTF Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 Thank you guys for all the comments!! I really appreciate it. I got ideas of how I play it with new load order and new save data. I know it's gonna be only on my hard drive and it's not something I should ask but I wanted to know if it's reasonable for a person who can beat dragons and other powerful monsters to get defeated by dozen of weaker enemies. I was just curious and I know I'm a weirdo but yeah. Thanks for taking time to comment:)
alucard11 Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 The concept that every bandit in every corner of the realm wants to rape the dragonborn is unrealistic by itself. If you truly wish for realism you would have to take the human element of the bandits into account as well. It might be true that bandits would capture and rape a beautiful girl but that stands mostly for lowborn and easy prey, girls that generally have no choice on the matter once their male guardians are killed. Doing the same with a skilled female warrior would carry a huge risk, as soon as the bandits turned the other way the warrior would be furious and probably seek to kill someone in contrast to, say, a meek farm girl. Keep in mind that in a realistic setting fellow bandits are companions, allies or simply pack members to each other and having their numbers thinned out during their sleep is not worth a literal fuck. They would be much better off killing a warrioress and keeping more submissive girls for comfort. If you want to have the dragonborn raped in a realistic setting (and not for the sake of pr0n) you would have to make it specific, as having a bandit leader that wants to fuck the dragonborn because no one else has, or because they don't know who they are but probably shit their pants once they find out because, come on, professional dragon slayer right there. In short, you could fuck a tiger as well, what's the life expectancy after that though. Lastly, there is the matter of respect, since the dragonborn can be a pretty heroic figure, would just any bandit who simply chose the easy life out of need, wish to harm the champion of the common folk he was never able to be? Obviously, the problem is not just with raping, even on the vanilla game, why would a bunch of bandits knowingly attack the dragonborn, why would they even nor run or surrender once they realize half their group has already been slain by a single person. Food for thought, because you asked about realism. Cheers!

I'll take that to my consideration when I make load order.
