That simply means you have put the mesh into the game, but the sim is not actually using it. Assign it through bodyselector in Wicked Whims.

I am having a problem with the obedient furniture. The table and the candleholder works fine, but the ottoman won't show up in game. When I search for it in build mode, it comes up as an alternative, but when I click on it nothing happens and it is not visible in the armchair selection. Does it belong to a certain pack which I don't have?

If I remember correctly, and since it has been two years ago ... lets hope I do, it was made when I was young, naive and full of life. I also didnt know that I need to make everything I can out of basegame stuff... so you need Spa Day for it... iirc.

hi again @Kritical, I bought the sensual statues but the only way to use them is "tease" and it isnt an active action. Is that as intended? How else can i use them?

@NLAres1512 Hey, I am not sure what you mean by active action. The animations that I made for those statues are in the teasing category, if you want more, you gotta go tell your fave animator to make some.

But to be serious, none of the stuff is turned on for random. I dont know if its a glitch with anything... it can be just Sims 4 being retarded with clothing flags.

yeah i see that 

i never done any mod for any sims and i not sure if is this way how this game work but talking about this problem maybe the reason can be happening because the ID of theses clothes is nearby to alien clothes or maybe because the name of some clothes on others languages it mean something related to the alien stuffs

@Kritical Do you have any plans to make your clothing and accessories compatible with Hiroki's Better Body?

 

I'm currently using a few mods that are heavily dependent on Hiroki's Better Body. If I switched to Eve, I'd sadly be losing out on body customization from the body overhaul slider project (breast sliders especially), and some of the the CC from sstormyy (like nipple piercings).

@Tempmania Hello. I dont plan to, no. Clothing is really the lowest priority with the stuff I make and its the stuff I enjoy making the least ... cause Sims 4 sucks to make clothes for for technical reasons.

 

Also I am skeptical as to how my clothing would deform with those extreme sliders. Its fine for the painted on clothes, but meshes tend to not behave themselves.

It's like the moment i equip one of your items, she's suddenly super stacked.

Inb4: I am NOW using Better Body but i tried with Eve and it does the exact same thing. Tits just get bigger with your outfits, hips change shape, etc.

Every single other item i've downloaded from everywhere else, doesn't.

Now, i'm not trying to flame or anything but i'm mostly curious as to WHY?

I'd SO love to use most of your stuff but it doing this just puts me off entirely.

 

 

Now, with the Eve 6 mesh, it still does the same thing but VERY minimally when it comes to your items.

The problem with this though is that almost every other outfit i own then has smaller boobs.

 

So i'm stuck between picking your items for my entire wardrobe or everything else. Can't seem to find a middle ground where everything is appropriately proportioned.

Wow. Just Wow.  I can't believe I haven't stumbled on this before.  I've  been playing The Sims since it first came out, and have over 600 mods.  But your device collection is without parallel!  Indeed I think you have solo produced more devices everyone else I have used put together.

I'm not currently  playing TS4 at  present - wrestling with the nightmare that is Skyrim VR and Zaz / Devious Devices etc.  But your collection alone is enough to get me back into Simming, and when I do, I will definitely join your Patreon.  Thanks so much for sharing your artistry!

@Saya_Scarlett Bodymesh in the Sims is basically a clothing object, not an independent entity from the clothing. The screenshot you showcased is a clothing item made aeons ago for EvE v5. So unless you use EvE v5, its going to change the shape of the body. Check out the CAS icon of the item. Plain "K" means its made for v5, "v6" means its made for ... v6. "M" means its made for the maxis bodymesh.

@jwidanka2006 Click on the sim thats inside, not on the machine. Thats where the interactions get propagated on.

 

@emilie1812 Its not really worth sharing, its just the Straud mansion that Ive gutted. It looks like a TV show set :). Which ones are missing?

Sounds like just about every other clothing mod for Fallout 4 or Skyrim.

Although i'm conflicted. Like i mentioned, if i use Eve body with the Ev6 mesh, your items fit perfectly but everything else just.. doesn't.

Going to try those Maxis Version ones but honestly, i can't see myself using anything other than Better Body, which i noticed most stuff is made around (if not specifically for it). Like CBBE Body vs Fusion Girl Body in Fallout 4 or CBBE Body vs UNP Body for Skyrim.

Either way, really love the outfits and still use one or two that fit just perfectly (one being one of the full on latex suits). Just hoping we could get more Maxis/BB compatible ones.

@chrishuang081 By default clothing isnt restricted by bodymesh, but if you would equip something made for a different bodymesh, the body will change shape. Since overwhelming majority of regular clothing is made for the maxis mesh, Ive converted some of my stuff to use the maxis shape, so that there isnt a jarring change in bodytype when you put it on. That is what that means.

 

@Saya_Scarlett I chose EvE in part because it wasnt BB. The shape seemed better to me. I still think the v6 shape is superior to all other bodymeshes, although the breasts could use a bit of work.

In retrospect, I should have gone with BB, since that hasnt been updated since and I am not a fan of Eve v7&8. Maybe one day I will get really drunk and spend a week converting everything to BB. You never know.
