(the old non-FNIS) Dragon Vore KillMove Replacer

View File

this mod replaces the Dragon's bite&throw animation (and sound effects) with a swallowing animation:

Ā

there are no mod requirements for this animation mod (not even FNIS)

Ā

Warning: conflicts with the FNIS version, don't use both.

I was just thinking about your dragon swallow animation before you uploaded this, great going making this work standalone. (and thanks for being the only dragons-eating-people Skyrim modder ever)

Although I don't think the eating animation ever looked very natural or combatty, pointing their head at the sky and holding it still up there while the person slowly slides down. I think it could do with a more chompy head motiony gobble-up. This old cartoon clip comes to mind, the "tossing them back" motion gives a lot to the look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAEudcTCAtA

Since it's still a KillMove, nope, that person is gone. That is something I'd worry about if I saw this happen though. Does the attack disarm the victim? I dunno because I've never actually seen it happen up close in-game. If the victim doesn't drop their weapon before going down I'd recommend crunching them first, like so.

would you be willing to do a first person view.

that's not my department/within my power, stuff like that is taken care of by mods like "Enhanced Camera" and "Immersive First Person View"

Okay, so I'm gonna sound like a total scrub (pretty new at this), but uh...do you have a guide to installing this? Sorry for the dumb question! ^^;

1. open the 7zip and take the files found inside the "data" folder and put them into your Skyrim "data" folder.

2. apply ketchup onto yourself and then meddle in the affairs of dragons.

3. ?

4. profit.

Would someone be able to please help me figure out how to get a freecam during the killmove animation?Ā  I saw that screenshot on the HCoS page of the argonian being swallowed with that sweet camera angle and I've been wracking my mind with different mods to try to get it. But all I've heard is that the killmove animation is tied to the camera and is thus hard to change.

the screenshot is from the HCOS version of the animation, sadly the only camera control that i have is up&down, all other movements don't do anything in game and i don't know why.

ah I understand. Thanks for the reply. I did manage to figure out that you can change the FOV during the animation which "zooms" the camera. I will play around with the HCOS version and see what I can figure out.

Over a yearĀ ago, after a LOT of desperate googling, I did find a free cam mod that has worked pretty well for me. It was so long ago though, I don't remember for sure where I downloaded from. I think it might have beenĀ this one?Ā Ā https://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5386

Ā

It has let me get a lot more interesting angles. That freecam mod, this mod, and the diverse dragons collection make for a real good combo.

Ā

I long for the day when someone finally figures out a scriptĀ to make the body disappear after you're eaten :'( At least this mod exists as is, in the meantime.Ā

Don't sure about inventory, but mb try to lock players body inside dragons model?

and just how would i do that? i still don't even know how to attach scripts to killmoves, i can't find any mods that have "killmove scripts" so there's nothing for me to study, and creationkit.com is completely fucking useless as always.

Just a stupid idea for fun, but I was wondering if it would be possible to change the animation from Dragonborn DLC.

Ā

Instead of sitting on the dragon, the character would be eaten. Then replace the animation to hide the character inside the dragon ;);):-)

Are there any ways to increase the chance of getting the lasthitĀ from the dragon with killmove? I tried to do this more than 30 times, but most of them dragon simply burned me with magical breathing or I was dying from a standard hit.

Killmove starts when you're near the dragon and your health reaches a low level.Ā  It is best to injure the dragon first to reduce its health so that it will no longer fly.Ā

Then just start healing self with magic and keep your health low, the dragon will eat you for a while ?

i don't know, the killmove does not even have any conditions to edit, i don't even know how the game starts it.

I have a shout which ban the ability to fly for short time. I'll try to do my best.
