Crasses123 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Hello. I'm having problems with sex animations while my character is wearing devoius devices. (arm binders, restraining cuffs, gags and belts) I have plenty of animations that contain bound animations that match the DD items i use, but for some reason it always plays some old ZAZ DD ZAP one, and when i try to change it using sexlab tools it only shows that one that its currently playing as the only one avaliable. Usually i get a huge list of avaliable animations using the change animation option with sexlab tools, but on these occations i only get the one it changed to(ZAZ/ZAP/DD) On some rarer occations it plays a bound one from my somewhat large animation list only to, maybe 2-3 seconds later, change it back to one of those ZAZ/DD/ZAP ones, while "clearing" all other animations away from the sexlab tools animation picker. There are two animation filter settings in my MCM (DD integration and ZAZ animation pack) and i have tried turning both of those off and experimenting with those and it doesen't change any of my problems. I think the animations work fine when my character is not a "victim" in the animation but it never works otherwise. Are there more animation filters than the two i mentioned? Load order below. SexLab chooses the animations based on tags. These tags are provided by the animation mod provider (ZAP, SexLab, Billyy, etc.). When an animation is called for by a mod it will include one or more tags it wants in those animations and will only use the animations that fit that description. If there is only one then it will use only one. So, open SexLab and look at the screens that deal with your available animations. Make certain that all the ones that you want are turned on and any others are turned off. If everything is appropriate then you need more animations with tags for the type of animation for which you are looking. You can do that two ways. The straightforward way is looking at adding more animation packs that include those types. The other way is to use SexLab Tools (which you have mentioned that you already have) and add tags to some of the animations that you already have that you would like to see played. Since this is associated with DD you probably need more animations with thins like "bound" and "pillory".

The amount of compatible animations is not the problem, i have a lot of "bound" "binding" and "aggressive" ones. (leito, nibbles, rohzima, funnybiz) I dont use any pillory or other furniture mods, I'm only interested in getting the armbinder and shackles one working for now. The problem is that it looks like some animation filter is overriding all the other ones and setting it back to "$ZazA_skullfuck1" without any other ones avaliable when i open the animation change menu. I tried turning off a setting in the sexlabs menu "limit to agressive animations when victim" or something like that and it working somewhat properly. But now even though I had turned on the animation filter in the DDI I still hade a lot of "un-restrained" animations avaliable. Earlier I tried before to turn off every single animation filter i could find in the MCM, both Zaz and DDI, but that changed nothing for some reason. maybe turning off the extra "limit agressive animations" helped somewhat. It all seems so random to me. Is there any way i can check what animation filters are running? Is there any way i can change how the animation filters work? Is there a text file i can edit what tags are included in animations, doing it through SLATE and Sexlab tools is very impractical.

To the best of my knowledge the answer to your first two questions is no (other than what you've done looking at the McMenu). As I said, you can edit tags in SexLab tools. You may want to eyeball your list of animations in SexLab and 1) make certain that the ones you want are ticked "on" and 2) that they have the tags that you think that they do.
Nazzzgul666 Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 The problem is that the DD team refuses to allow the installed animations, instead they use their own hardcoded library that is quite limited. Plus i'm not even sure if it's working properly, disabling (all) the filters is one of the first things i do when i start a new game. Partly because they're buggy with creatures, but also because of the limited options. So disable the filters in DD settings and SL tools will allow you to chose any animation again.
Crasses123 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 The hardcoded "library" for me consists of maybe 3-4 animations for me, with the one animation currently playing being the only one avaliable in the sexlab tools animation change menu, the standard "o" button to change via sexlabs doesen't change it either. Also the library does not contain any "yoke" animations so if the filter kicks in while yokes are involved NO animation runs at all... After I turned off agressive animation filter in the sexlab menu and turned off the filter in ZAZ menu, I could get additional animations. I did not touch the three animations filters in the DD menu. Does my problem perhaps have something to do with my load order?
Nazzzgul666 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I totally forgot about this but yes, you need to turn of ZAP filters in any case, you don't want two possibly conflicting filters working at the same time. Then it's no wonder you don't get any animations at all. Otherwise, no. Your problem is the intended behaviour, if you want all animations, turn off all filters.
