Well, somehow, following tutorials around the web, I managed to install a - somehow - stable version of Skyrim. But there is a problem. Game works perfectly around, except for the area outside Whiterun. I keep crashing everytime I go around there. -I've already tried to remove Whiterun-based move: CTD, even on a new, fresh game. -I've already tried to use LOOT to sort out plugins: CTD, even on a new game. -I've already tried to run FNIS again: CTD, even on a new game. -I've already tried to clean my saves; CTD, even on a new game. If you have run LOOT and have no errors please rerun FNIS and post the output here. It should begin with a description of your skeleton and end with the number of animations that you successfully loaded. Also make certain you have loaded the stability tools considering the mods in your load order.
Grey Cloud Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Post your load order here, not on a 3rd party site. Are you using ENBoost/ENB, Crash Fixes and SKSE Plug-in Preloader? If not you should be. Whiterun can be problematic for some people. Have you tried one of the other heavily-populataled areas such as Solitude?

You have a ton/ne of follower mods which may well have hi-res textures and no doubt many of them will be in Whiterun. If you are going to use the Hi-Res texture packs then consider using the Unofficial Patch. Or use one of the many good replacer/alternative mods that are out there.

Actually yes, my Whiterun is pretty packed with followers, got there like... 15 of them? And dude, Im using already the "Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch".

All of them plus regular Whiterun plus ETaC plus Whiterun Brothel plus Immersive Whiterun may well be the cause of your CTDs. ETaC, WB and IW may well be the problem on their own. It is seldom a good idea to have two or more mods altering the same thing. I didn't say the USLEEP patch I meant the Unofficial patch for the Hi-Res packs.

The exception address say nothings because all computer address only refer to exactly that, a memory address, and of course, you, me and the rest of the people make nothing whit a memory address. Only is valid for the debuger and the debuger can say WHAT have that memory address and looking the source code the developer can know what happend and how solve it. The exception address is totally unusefull. If you not have CTD when disable ALL yours mods is evident that your CTD is caused by a mod. Disable HALF of yours mods and look if you have the CTD. If persist disable more mods. If is solved enable yours mods in groups of 5 or 10, not more, until you locate the problematic mod. When you know EXACTLY what mod have the problem you can look for updated version, read the forums, revise compatibility patchs, change load order or simple remove it and continue playing.

So, after a hell of a job doing this, I think that I've manage to narrow down the problem; something that I would have never thought... Apparently the mods giving me troubles is my "bodyslide" own mod with the body/dresses replacer. Any idea how to solve that? Is a simple mesh folder, no esp. To create that folder and customize the bodies/outfits, I've followed this guide: it starts at 06.18. Spoiler https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKQ-q0NCO-M Exactly the same steps.

The armors packs are made with a lot of files that have each part of each model of armor and another block of files that is exactly the same but in BodySlide format for be procesed with BodySlide. Normaly we use the procesed armor and nobody use the normal armors without process it with BodySlide. Disable your BodySlide mod, that have all the armors procesed. If you get the same CTD is caused by a BAD MESH in one of the armors pack. Disable armor packs until you locate the REAL problematic mod. Probably can be TERAArmors_CBBE.esp or HotTropper because i have the remodeled whitout any problem. If you NOT get the same CTD only can be because the BAD MESH is in the BodySlide files of the armors. Some really old Followers can contain really old and obsolete skeletons. The skeletons can be checked and replaced if necessary, if you know what you are doing. You are using HothFollower UFO Patch.esp and it seems you are not using UFO itself. EFF is regarded as the best of the main 3 frameworks and using that is good. The default Force level of Realistic Ragdolls is included with XPMSE these days, and is no longer needed unless you want a different level of Force. You are using some very old vanilla house replacers, which may or may not be conflicting with the newest Unofficial Patch. The mod Face Light has been known to cause crashes while in conversations with NPCs if conversation light is enabled. Maybe thats been fixed by now. Don't know. I stopped using it long ago. You are using Safety Load, which is not needed anymore. Crash Fixes and ENB configured properly are really all you need these days.

You need to load whatever mod references those meshes and pay attention to errors as it loads. If the mod is only a few mesh items load it in ck and load up the armor addon list for those items and ck will either crash on mesh that is broken or spam errors at you when using the item mesh viewer.

In the end the problem was "I Love Cleavage"; some files were corrupted and the conversion with Bodyslide caused the problem. By the way, apparently I fixed the main source of crashes, so thanks everyone for your support - if they will start again, I will let you know. You guys rock.
