Thanks I'm going to wait for the mod you previewed to be perfected though. As I opened up slots specifically for them as I like them that much!

Thanks, this looks promising! I'm getting "Selected object has no 3DMigoto vertex group maps". I imported these meshes using the Blender import tool on the .ib/.vb files generated from the export script.

You need to use the g1mtool, export with vgmap tool to export the ib,vb files.

  I don't hate Rambo, he just doesn't interest me.
I just answered questions about this ... why Rambo in Russia is not a cult character. And why is Russian Bayman not suitable for this role, and Rig yes.

Ah, I didn't have the latest version of the tools. Thanks everyone for their help, I must be getting close! Unfortunately, my mesh is super messed up in-game now:

To recap what I did:

 

1. I have a new custom body mesh, let's call it CUSTOM, that's a mix of combined objects and also custom mesh work. The starting point for this wasn't originally done with a .vgmap import, as I didn't have that tool yet, but in any case, it looks sufficiently different compared to when I imported it that I'm not sure I could reimport a .vgmap for this mesh.

2. I re-imported three of Hitomi's costumes (with .vgmaps) so I could get good coverage of all the weights I would potentially need, call them H1, H2, H3.

3. I took pieces from H1, H2, and H3 combined them into a single object, trimming extra pieces when necessary. I then ran "Assign new 3DMigoto groups" on the new, single object, call it H123.

4. I then did transfer weights from H123 to CUSTOM in Blender.

5. I exported CUSTOM into .ib/.vb and reimported that as the body of the original costume I tried to replace, and then removed extra meshes that were no longer needed.

 

CUSTOM has both the numeric and non-numeric weights at this point, and when I export it in Blender, it also exports with the .vgmap file.

 

I must be missing something here, any ideas?

Clean up the vertex groups of CUSTOM before ran Assign new 3DMigoto groups, whatever group name will be export to .vgmap and mess up the weight. Use "import"-> "Apply 3DMigoto vertex group map to current object" to re-set the vgmap if you have messed it up. Just load one vgmap of a mesh most close to your CUSTOM,  clean up all non-bone vertex group and then run "Assign new 3DMigoto groups". This only work for non-softbody mesh. If you are working with softbody mesh, wrong settings on the 4 "TEXCOORD8.**" UVmap will also blow up your mesh.

If all this does not work, then you have missed something. 

Do not lag behind life.

It is necessary to update all the files on time. Including drivers and Blender.

Hi, nice work! where do i put these file? i have REDELBE 0.9 and put it into layer2 like other mods that works fine but this one doesn't show, maybe i'm putting it into the wrong folder, you tell me.

I made Green eyes like old Kratos (PS4) and try to reproduce the painting like the one from God Of War III, but UV maps make it look distorted at some places.

Just decompress it and copy it into Layer2

doesn't work, put it into layer2, go in game, i press select in every costume, nothing. And the new one you post it of Kazumi works fine, so idk.

Maybe I uploaded a wrong file.But it doesn't matter, you can copy the g1t file from the folder to SaafRats's LISA's mod with the same effect, COS002
