Finally, REDFACTION shows us that he is alive.  @REDFACTION- If you really want to increase player support and Patreon donations, ignoring this site isn't wise.  Communicating to your Patreon base is great but ignoring regular players won't gain you more support.

 

I, like many, hope the project goes well!  Peace.  :)

I wouldn't at all complain if you released early access Patreon content. Like a week or two early access before releasing to the public. It seems fair for how amazing this mod could be once finished, and would inspire people to donate. I hate Patreon, too, to be honest, but you really need and deserve the donations. Anyway, might be able to become a Patron in the future when I get a job :) Keep up the good work.

I'm not sure about some of the features that overlap with pre-existing mods or gameplay elements - or rather do we NEED all these features your developing and more to the point will they conflict with mods that might already do things your mod won't. For example your breast mesh changes/adding more bones makes sense for sex scenes but there is an excellent modder currently making bouncing boobies and has to literally change EVERY single animation that already exists in game.  This takes a very long time to do though because it requires changing ever single animation in-game.

 

Do you plan to do the same thing?  Is it really worth the time to have TWO modders doing the same thing for a slight difference between the two most people will never notice?

 

I think there are some really cool ideas and plans for this mod, but I don't like the idea of it as a replacement mod for mod that already exists.   Some mods are better at doing  things then others, some mods are preferred over other mods (or meshes) and part of modding the Sims is the ability to pick what you want to use and not, the idea that your mod is meant to replace almost all mods and possible even skins/ect as well as base gameplay.  It almost sounds like your trying to make your own game using the sims 4 engine rather then just mod it.

 

Again lots of cool ideas, but does it really need to do everything when we already have mods that do a pretty good job and are compatible with other mods? 

 

Thats one thing you never touched on btw - how will your mod be compatible with other mods?

 

For example your making your own animations with your custom rig - but there already exists over 6000 animations for wicked whims for a huge variety of well...variety.  It would make more sense to allow inclusion of those mods say for more anal positions then to rely on 5 that you make.

 

I guess what I'm saying is lots of good ideas but some of this seems like extra work that probably doesn't need to be done.

 

I also think you should release your titan rig eventually to the community as other modders have one day, there is simple no way you'll be able to produce the sheer amount of animations possible by the community as just one man.  It would be nice to see it used by multiple people, kind of like a game engine.  Rather then limited just to your mod which I assume one day will be abandoned like all other mods.  At least your rig will live on 5 years from now for people still playing Sims 4.

Thank you leilani413. I opened a Patreon to make a living out of modding, but in France you still earn a fraction of your salary even if you are unemployed, and I took a job back end of May, so I am not and never was in "need" of donations ?

 

As a consequence, instead of taking the donations for me, all the donations are re-injected in the project to make it grow.

For instance, I'm presently affording external help to solve particularly tough issues in REDFACTION's Most Wanted

In the future, the donations may be used to pay different kinds of creators to create CC for the project, like furnitures or clothes ?

The idea behind that is to "share the wealth" and help new talents to emerge.

 

If at some point we reach a level of donations where I could live out of it, I will make modding my livelihood like I wanted in the beginning.

Meanwhile, modding remains a hobby and I'm thankful to every patron who is trusting me in this early stage of development ??

You might have missed it because there are a lof of informations in the main post but my breasts enchancement is retro-compatible ?

All your old animations will still play the same.

 

The question of re-doing the vanilla animations doesn't concern only the breasts but the whole physics bones, including asscheeks, thighs, belly...

Re-doing the vanilla animations just for the breasts is not worth it as you say : there won't be a lot of differences with bouncing boobies since the only case where you could actually see the difference is when the breasts are pushed.

 

I don't plan to re-do vanilla animations at short term but it's not excluded in the long term.

One thing is sure though : I am not going to do it manually one by one ? it's going to be done through a script for all the animations at once.

It might takes a few months to develop the script and run it, but it's still quicker than doing it one by one in my opinion.

I'm sorry I don't mean to replace all existing mods.

 

Since you are talking about skins I think you are referring to Hiroki’s Better Body and .Noir.’s Pornstar Cock, but those are only the meshes I'm recommending because I started working with them.

You will be able to use any skin/mesh you want as long as they are made compatible with TITAN. And even if they are not made compatible, they will still work the same as before.

 

Could you be more specific about the mods which are doing the same thing than mine and where mine will override them ?

My mod is compatible with WickedWhims. You can still play your 6000 animations ?

The idea is not to re-produce thousands of animations.

If you want thousands of animations then there is already WickedWhims for that.

 

The development of my mod started from the observation that among the thousands of animations we have, we only play a few.

So, since my mod is adding interactions just like in the vanilla game, the idea is indeed to produce only a few, but top-quality ones.

 

Anyway, to answer your question : releasing the tools is planned ?. Modders will be able to create their animations with TITAN and include them in their own new vanilla-like interactions.

This is important. I'm personally tired of these "teleport and fuck" sims that totally breaks the immersion.

If you go to his Patreon page it says that Q4 2019 is the tools' estimated delivery date.  So probably some time near the end of this year.

If you have any Questions on how the development of his project is going, it's best to Visit his Patreon page and read the information he puts up there.  You don't have to be a Patron to read his comments. 

 

For the month of June he has been working on routing. 

 

For May he was working on cancelling.

To be exact it's presently $ 250 for each job. It's going to be raised to $ 300 by the beginning of July thanks to patrons' support.
