Hunter136 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 My Mod organizer unchecked all my mods, and now I have to find what esp's are in which file and reactivate them, etc. It really pissed me off, is there a way to auto activate what I previous had checked? Or am I just gonna have to do this the long, annoying, hard way.
Uncle64 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 That should not happen. Did you use any old Wrye bash? Changed location of your installed mods? Oh and what MO do you use?
Ruffled Pigeon Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 There isn't, however, your loadorder is stored in your Savegame. You can use Skyrim Savegame Scanner to look at it.
sila Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Unless you saved a back up of your last configuration before it happened, unfortunately not. Pro Tip: You should probably create backups of your configuration in Mod Organizer. Edit: just to be sure, are you certain you did not just create a new mod profile?
Ernest Lemmingway Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 At the top of the lists on either side are buttons with yellow and blue arrows. The blue arrows save your current mod/plugin load order depending on which list is below, the yellow loads any previously saved load orders. The only time I've seen MO uncheck all mods is when create a new profile. It might have done that once when it bugged out but that hasn't happened to me in years.

It happens if you change the MO directory too, when I moved it to a different harddrive and updated the directory it wiped the mod config. Definitely a smart idea to save backups of that.

Really, what I should do is rename them so I know what esps are where, if at least to make it go faster instead of using search to find them. I know I didn't make a new profile, I didn't do anything with that before I exited MO. 58 minutes ago, Ernest Lemmingway said: At the top of the lists on either side are buttons with yellow and blue arrows. Yeah I think this happened once before. 2 hours ago, Uncle64 said: That should not happen. Did you use any old Wrye bash? Changed location of your installed mods? Oh and what MO do you use? Don't know what specific version of MO I use, I honestly have no idea why it happened, I got an error message when I exited it. Anyways I do have another MO issue, whenever I close it, MO says that downloads are still in progress, even though there are non and I've been manually downloading (Because I fucked up the nexus direct download by accident.)
Uncle64 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Serius YOU dont know what MO you are using? Your issue about download that was common in MO1. It is fixed in MO2, when did you update MO the last time? About the backup of loadorders, there is one funktion for that in MO, right side, one small button on the right side untop of your loadorder, there you can save your load. Alternate is to manually copy plugins.txt and modlist.txt to one altenate location regular. You can find those 2 files in your profile.
Hunter136 Posted February 23, 2019 Author Posted February 23, 2019 I never really paid attention to where the version number was, it always worked wonders. But now, I crash at the main menu, no idea why.
Hunter136 Posted February 23, 2019 Author Posted February 23, 2019 Okay now I'm livid, I just keep crashing on the main menu.
worik Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 2 hours ago, Hunter136 said: Okay now I'm livid, I just keep crashing on the main menu. Thats probably because your load order is in disarray, mods are ticked to load but are missing their master files , etc... Back in MO have a look at your right pane and watch out for exclamation marks behind a mod. Hover over that line with your mouse and it should tell you what's wrong. If I would be near my Sykrim i'd post an example picture. Edit: I might have missed it, but you still didn't answer the version question. If you have MO1 I generally recommend you take a cup of tea/coffe and watch this Spoiler If you have MO2 this : Spoiler https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG3eqyNOByw&list=PLlN8weLk86Xh3ue76x2ibqtmMramwQmHB
Hunter136 Posted February 23, 2019 Author Posted February 23, 2019 I basically resolved everything, a couple more issues, but I think I got it handled. And yeah, for Skyrim I'm using the older version.
Guest Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Not MO, LOOT unchecked all mods. If you have more games end selected wrong.
