I have never used NMM since Skyrim LE, so I do not know anything about NMM, and I can not deal with NMM. Sorry about that.

 

Please try reinstall or unzip "WashOutThatCum_v1.1.0.zip" and try installing manually.

+ If you use "For Swimming Only" files, "WashOutThatCum.esl" is located at:

- WashOutThatCum_v1.1.0.zip\fomod\Swimming Only\WashOutThatCum.esl

+ Otherwise:

- WashOutThatCum_v1.1.0.zip\fomod\Base\WashOutThatCum.esl

Did find a bug @megururu
If you try to manually change any overlay (tattoos, cum etc) it keeps removing the current ones and replacing them with the Anal (the first in the list).

So the issue is with how it interacts/conflicts with Looks Menu. Other than that, it works as expected. ;)

This MOD does not have "Add" function, so I think it also cannot replace overlays.

Even if an overlay with the same UID (meaning "Unique ID", I think) as the list for deletion is added by the LooksMenu during deletion, that new overlay cannot be deleted because the phase for acquiring UID has already ended before the deletion. I tested it.

 

This mod removes the overlay in the following order. (By the way, script sources are installed by FOMOD along with other files.)

- Phase 1, Get all the overlays the player character has.

- Phase 2, Check the overlays in the list one by one and, if there is a supported overlay, add the UID of that overlay to another list of deletion.

- Phase 3, Use the "list of deletion"s UID to delete the overlay.

These phases do not occur simultaneously. And the contents of the list will be used from the top to the end, and the part passed once will not be used again.

 

Adding overlays in SLM is a bit tricky, so let's just explain. I'm sorry if you already knew it :sweat_smile:.

+ slm 14 (so, Enter edit mode on the player character)

+ BODY > OVERLAYS > ADD >

- Select an desired overlay and make sure that a dot is added next to the overlay's name.

+ > SELECT > ACCEPT

- Now the new overlay name should be added to the OVERLAYS list. Repeat as many times as necessary.

+ ACCEPT > ACCEPT > DONE > OK :wink:

The problem is entirely in Looks Menu. With WOTC enabled, adding any overlay results in a current overlay being replaced.
For example, My PC has the eagle chest, tribal back... etc. all of which are stacked to darken them.
Trying to add, say, the tribal belly, the entire stack of eagle chest will be replaced by a single anal overlay (number 1 in the list).
Every time you try to add one, a current one is replaced with anal until all current ones are gone and you have a stack of anal overlays.

Trying to remove the added anal overlay, results in current tattoo overlays being removed. Once all current overlays are gone, you can then successfully remove the anal overlays.
It's like the anal overlay is being a real ass. LOL

 

Now... when I disable WOTC.. I can add/remove any overlays with no issue.
It's really not a big deal, because I rarely change tattoos. And when I do, I save it, so it's a quick preset load & done. :)

 

With all that being said.. the issue could be with another mod and WOTC just triggers the bug. Seen that before. No conflict, errors, nada, just a weird bug. hehehe

 

Oh, just so you know.. I've played F04 a couple hours. ;)

Like I said.. no big deal. :)
And I have been able to replicate the bug with WOTC disabled.. once. Sooo... it's not your mod. But it does bring the bug to the surface. I just haven't had time to track down the exact cause. << translation: to bloody lazy! hehehe

Hi, @izzyknows :).

Test results, probably a bug in LooksMenu.

Tested on a new game without installing WOTC (Wash Out That Cum).

 

Add OverlayA, OverlayB, OverlayC.
Delete OverlayA with "Edit" and execute "ADD" right after that, resulting in OverlayC will be replaced automatically with the overlay at the top of the list. Because it is alphabetical order, in most cases, I think it's "Anal_1".

The original overlay and the replaced overlay have the same UID.

And when this happens, several overlays with the same UID may be added.
This should not occur, as they should be "Unique".

 

This happens regardless of whether it is an overlay added by AAF, an overlay manually added by the player, Cum-Overlay or Tattoo-Overlay.

The same can be said about how overlay was deleted. This problem occurs even if the player manually deletes overlay or if deletes with WOTC's script.

 

I would like to report to the author of LooksMenu if I have the time, but it takes a few hours to create this short English sentence, so I can not do it right away, I am sorry :sweat:.

 

This does not happen unless you try to edit Overlay in the slm menu.

I tried to think something could be done on the WOTC side, but so far nothing has come to mind.

It's because I don't know the pattern which overlay will be replaced. Temporarily, I think that put a "switch of debugging" to MCM so that a list of UID and overlay IDs are output to Papyrus.log... maybe.

Or maybe, maybe I can create a Stimpack or something that will remove all of the player's overlays and return the overlays except Cum-Overlay. Doing so may clean up the UID... maybe :sweat_smile:.

 

For now, I do not know more than this. FYI :wink:

EDIT: The automatically replaced overlay may not be editable, but if it's "Anal_1", it can be deleted using the WOTC's washing function.

It looks like this thread has been quiet for a little while but hopefully someone is still lurking about that might be able to help me with a question.

 

I started using this mod a couple of days ago and as far as the player character goes it is working flawlessly. That said I am finding that if I order a companion to use a shower the cum overlays are NOT removed. So my question: Is this mod intended to remove the cum overlays from NPC's as well? If that isn't an intended function of the mod would it be possible to add it in, either via an update or a simple code change that I could perform on my end?

Hi, Number24. Thank you for your question, and very sorry for my late reply. Unfortunately, as noted at the top of the description, this MOD is for player character only.

 

This MOD checks each time the target actor uses furniture to see if it's a registered furniture or not. This check is made every time, even if the furniture is not a shower or actual furniture. It always happens when target actor sits in a chair, uses an animation marker, or uses the workbench etc.

While making this MOD, I was predicting that one day somebody would ask to make this MOD compatible with companions and NPCs, but, I thought it's not cost-effective to run a check function on multiple companions. So I narrowed the target to the player character only.

 

So... If you don't care about that load, I can make this MOD compatible with active companions (and not with any NPCs) that can be obtained with "GetPlayerFollowers()" function or something. If you wish, please let me know, I'll start creating that patch :). (Maybe take some time, though. sorry.)

 

PS:  I tried to find a way to handle it, but I may would not figure out how to re-set the target actor each time the player character replaces a companion. Because without some testing, I cannot predict how the Companion (Management) MOD will be respond. (It's possible with high load methods such as setting a timer, but I do not like it very much.)

It may not be so heavy if it's a function to wash out active companion's cum every time when the player character is using shower furniture or swimming. This methods is not so immersion, but is this okay for you? Please let me know your thoughts.

@megururu Thanks for the replay, no worries about the lateness. When you say "active companions" I assume you mean the one companion that is currently following me around the world, correct? If that is the case how much of an extra load do you think adding functionality for the one active companion would cause? I do have a fairly high end PC ( i7 9700, RTX 2080, SATA III SSD and 32 GB of DDR4 ram), so I think I'll be okay with the extra load. However, thinking about it I suppose the better question is if the game's engine will handle the extra load.

 

Okay, I've come to a decision. If it's not too much trouble for you, would you please write the patch to add functionality for the one active companion (this is exactly the functionality I was hoping for by the way). I will happily be your guinea pig and test the patch out for you and report back as to how it works out so that you can decide if you want to release the patch in a more official capacity. And one final note I am using the version of the mod for both showers and swimming.

 

Oh and just some background info as to why I even made this request: For immersion's sake I disabled the timers for the CumNWealth overlays. So for me there are only two ways to get rid of the overlays: Take a shower or use Looks Menu.

My motive to make a MOD is probably the same as the motives that others have: because I want that functions for my FO4. So I always assume the MODs that I'm using. And since I'm always using AFT, there are multiple active companions, usually 2 or 3.

 

I thought it would be fun to set the overlay's timer to 0, but I did not think about NPCs. If we set the overlay timers to 0, those NPCs may also hold multiple cum-overlays, right? Is that okay? (...No, it's not okay, well, I cannot make any promises, but I also think about that... uh... but It may not be so immersive way... like... removing the cum-overlays from an NPC that the player character has passed or slipped a note that can be created at the chemistry stations...)

 

Anyway, I will make a patch that will do the same thing for the companions as this MOD do for the player character, but maybe for the multiple active companions. I will upload this patch after testing properly. But thank you very much for your suggestions!

That'll be CWSS's holotape, either use `help cwss 4` in the console, or `player.additem xx005da1`, with xx being it's load order position [9E, for instance].

Guy why doesn't it work for me? I have everything installed correctly but it doesn't work. It says ESL missing and in slm 14 There is also nothing. I used Vortex btw.

Hi, Thanks to those who responded to the questions! And I'm sorry for taking a very long time to complete this update.

 

About the swimming function, since there is no function in FO4's Papyrus to get whether a character (not a player character) is performing a swimming action, I set it to be triggered only by the action of the player character.

If I set the IsSwimming condition in some Perk or Spell, WOTC will probably get that action, but I think it will be dangerous because it keeps checking every second.

About your question, there are currently two issues.

1) If you are using OnePatch, OnePatch currently omits Cum-Overlay feature.

2) I don't remember seeing anyone (other than you, me, and one more someone) else writing this, but in my case as well, the Cum-Overlay feature doesn't work for males even if I have the right set of files. (So it is necessary to check with a female character whether CumNWealth has been installed correctly.)

These can be complicated, so I don't know if I can explain well in English, but I'll try a little anyway.

 

As for 1, there is a Cum-Overlay patch for OnePatch in LL, but it only supports some animations, so you need to edit OnePatch's xml yourself for other animations.

+ Edit "AAF/(Varies depending on the animation MOD)_animationData.xml"

- Example: <actor gender = "M" stopOverlaySet = "Back_M">

- The ID of OverlaySet can be found in "cum_overlaysdata.xml". For males, there is an M at the end of the ID as shown above.

- Someone explained a bit in the above patch's topic. And here is the AAF wiki for overlays.

As for 2, I haven't updated from the previous version of AAF, so if you use the correct files with the current version of AAF, Cum-Overlay may possibly apply to males too.

 

If the behavior of the current version is the same as the previous version I use, here are the details:

+ If you add the keyword "AAF_GenderOverride_Female" to a male character, AAF will treat him as a female and Cum-Overlay will work on that character.

+ However, male genital morph will not work for that character because he is treated as a female.

+ But in the LooksMenu MOD, that character is still treated as a male, so it must be described as a male in the overlay definition file for LooksMenu.

+ Then a character with "AAF_GenderOverride_Female" will be assigned to a position of <actor gender="F"> in "(Varies depending on the animation MOD) _animationData.xml". (MM animations are no longer used for him.)

- And someone who assigns [stopOverlaySet = "xxx"] to <actor gender="F"> in "xxx _animationData.xml" will never think that character is a male.

- So you have to replace all stopOverlaySets IDs in "xxx _animationData.xml" with the ones for males, or, re-edit the females data in "overlays.json" and "cum_overlaysData.xml" to males.

- In any case, when editing as described above, the Cum-Overlay given to other actual female characters will be for males, so, the Cum-Overlay displayed to females will shift somewhere or not displayed at all.

 

This is probably the end of the explanation. Uh... I hope this helps :sweat_smile:.

@ManOfFreedom Hi.

I want to make sure that there is no misunderstanding, but AAF is designed to apply the overlay function to male characters as well (so they said). In response to the question "Does the overlay feature also apply to male characters?", the AAF's author replied several times (if my memory is certain), "It also applies to male characters".

 

So, first, make sure that in your current game, the Cum-Overlay is displayed to the female after the AAF animation. And also, make sure that multiple “Cum-Overlays” for males are displayed at the "adding the overlay" menu screen in the character creation menu (slm from the console, etc).
If it appears on a female character after the AAF animation, and in the slm menu, then because CumNWealth has the correct file for males, it may be a problem on the AAF side.
If it doesn't appear to female characters after AAF animation, or in the slm menu, your FO4 may be missing some files or stopOverlaySet for Cum-Overlay somewhere.

 

I haven't reported this because AAF is still in beta. And as I wrote before, there aren't many people who claim this, so I don't have a firm confirmation that it might be a bug. Sorry for not helping much!
