I having this issue as well, at first it was only with one overlay staying and the rest disappearing but now none of them stay around. This post seems pretty much inactive but it'd be nice to get a fix. I do not use the overlay patches as in the "AAF Fucking Manual" it says they'll conflict and aren't needed, they'll apply after a scene but then will just disappear after fast travel or after around a minute or two.

Okay so I found the fix on the cum overlays page. If you want them permanent this is what you do.

 

is it compatible with wash out that cum? Is it possible to set up that way that overlays stay on until they washed off? 

More 'permanent' overlays could be an option in future, currently they're 5 minutes (unless something bugs and it glitches its way to permanent anyway, which happens with overlays in general).
If you want to set them to permanent yourself, you can edit the Duration in the Cum_overlayData.xml to blank, which I think makes it indefinite, I don't recall. Otherwise, you can set it to a massive value, like 30,000 or so (300 = 300 seconds = 5 minutes).

Otherwise, they act as any other, and thus yes, will work fine with WotC and any other cum-removal methods (though I think that's the only one currently, besides manually, via LooksMenu).

Is this supposed to work with Get Dirty's soap washing option? I can see through FO4edit there is a messagebox in WOTC about washing with soap that seems like its referencing this possibility, but I can't see anything to show its actually used. Currently in my game activating soap just uses Get Dirtys soap message box, which gives you the options for washing (dirt overlays removal) or picking the soap up.

 

Is there a way to get soap to work properly with WOTC?

This MOD simply adds the Shower and Bathtub's FormID to this MOD's unique "FormID List" by script, and does not edit any data.

And since that patch has not rewritten CWSS's FormID, it is okay to use it at the same time.

Overlays are not showing up after animations, sometimes I see her pussy dripping but there's no overlays on her skin at all.

Yes it works fine with BYOP I use it all the time. Is it showing in the MCM as I've noticed that sometime the .esl doesn't automatically activate (this may depend on the mod manager). I use it with Neb's Scripted Cum Overlays and Get Dirty

WOTC appears in my MCM. I am also using get dirty and cum overlays.

 

The BYOP showers get rid of the dirt from get dirty and I can get rid of the cum by swimming.

 

I just can't get rid of the cum with the BYOP showers.

I noticed there is a re-register showers item in the Debug section if you scroll down that may be worth a try. Also, I've noticed that it doesn't clear the cum instantly like dirt, sometimes you need to give it a good few seconds before it works

 

Here are my settings for the pc (I don't use followers so have them deactivated)

Hmm, I don't know what more to suggest I'm afraid as it works perfectly for me. I'm don't know if @Nebuchadnezzer2 can shed any light on it from the Cum Overlays side of it

I think I may have fixed it.

 

I uninstalled WOTC, loaded my game, saved, quit, then reinstalled.

 

That seems to have forced WOTC to register the showers and stuff.

Works fine with Commonwealth Moisturizer, just let it overwrite this.

 

Commonwealth Moisturizer has patches for Wash Out That Cum in the installer, so install Commonwealth Moisturizer after this.

This Mod does not work at all "0".

No matter what I try with the settings, it does not work .

I am using CWSS v4.01, tried re-registering the showers, nothing.

Swimming does not work.

The letters, do not work.

Me taking a shower does nothing.

Is there an instruction manual to settings?

I really like the idea, and would try any suggestions.

I recently started getting a bug in which companions get perma-locked in what seems to be a showering animation.
I am looking for the reason behind this and wanted to check if anybody encountered the same. Unfortunately the only solution seems to be loading a save before the bug occured

I'm running following mods: Wash Out That Cum, Build Your Own Pool,  More Ways of Washing 2.0 and GET DIRTY (take a bath).

Heather is impregnated by Deacon and she has the problem that the sperm cannot be removed by showering or swimming. I use BYOP for the showers. And if Nora gives her a letter, the message appears that the washing process for the NPC (Heather) was not completed.

I'm a bit at a loss right now, with Nora it works perfectly. Both shower and swim.

Re-registration worked fine, but didn't help.

I get the exact same bug as you do.

 

I use Wash Out That Cum and Build Your Own Pool. I haven't found a good solution. In console: recycleactor seems to help to release companions from the shower animation, however it's hard to call it a good solution because of the side effects. Uninstalling the WOTC mod does not help to release from the animation. But the subsequent removal of the BYOP mod stopped the torment of my companions.

 

I stopped at this solution and will never install the Wash Out That Cum mod again. That and you advise. Despite a great idea, the mod is characterized by disgusting realization.

First off, great mod. It's always in my load order.

 

I'm using:

• Get Dirty
• Dirty Sex
• Commonwealth Moisturizer
• Cum Overlays
• CWSS 4
• WOTC

The only aspect of all these mods that doesn't work is washing cum off using a bar of soap. That function comes from Get Dirty, but there doesn't seem to be any support for using bar soap to wash off that cum (cum overlays or commonwealth moisturizer cum suits). I'm roleplaying a prostitute who carries around a few bars of soap specifically to clean up afterwards (Dirty Sex overlays add up quickly), so being able to remove cum overlays and commonwealth moisturizer cum suits using Get Dirty's bar soap washing would be amazing.
