I just installed all my mods and enb and when I launch skse it loads skyrim up until just after the main black screen where it shows the enb info up top left and then the program just closes and i'm back at desktop. just wondering if this is something that can be diagnosed here?
Seijin8 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Usually means a missing master file for one of the esps you are using. Run LOOT, it'll find the issue.

Does the ENB info display the correct info and in the correct colour? Either way I would double-check the setting in enblocal.ini and make sure they are correct for your machine. As has already been mentioned, missing master(s) is usually prime suspect. 1. If you use NMM, look in the plug-ins list to see if any of the entries are orange or red. (I've no idea how MO does it) 2. Fire up LOOT and see if it reports any Errors. (Your load order looks as though it needs LOOT running on it anyway). 3. If you use Crash Fixes (and you should be) it will throw up an error message saying a master is missing and abort the load. If none of the above then I would look at JKs Skyrim.esp=1 Arthmoor's Skyrim Villages - All In One.esp=1 RiverwoodHotSprings.esp=1 RiftenGarret.esp=1 SolitudeWolfTower.esp=1 Ivarstead House.esp=1 SolitudeBathhouse.esp=1 FalkreathCottage.esp=1 RiftenLowside.esp=1 Probably a couple more I missed. These will be competing. As an alternative to JK's Skyrim I use JKs Cities - Lite and SuperLite https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71018/ Visually the same but with bug fixes and less resource hungry. Also comes with a 'Towns' add-on. You also need to update your MNC to the SLAL version. I doubt it's the problem but how many animations does FNIS report?

You can either remove an animations pack and try loading again or you can run FNIS and post the output here. If you post the information should start with a description of your skeleton and end with the number of animations that you successfully loaded. This is normally a simple cut and paste. While it is unrelated to your current issue you really should update your More Nasty Critters to the current SLAL version. The old one that you have is known to cause CTDs during play. When you decide to make the change be certain to follow MadMansGun's directions carefully. They are not difficult but they need to be followed precisely if you want to avoid untoward issues.

No, you have a fair amount of animations. There is no such thing as an average since no one keeps records but you could actually have more without difficulty. SKSE have the functionality of SSME inside it but for enable the memory manager your MUST manually create the file SKSE.ini in the folder DATA\SKSE or download and install SKSE Memory Patch The file SKSE.ini is NOT included in the installation of SKSE and is NOT included in the zip file. You can go to https://skse.silverlock.org/ download the zip file and see the content. NOT HAVE THE FILE SKSE.ini you MUST add it.

That's the green thumbs-up button in the bottom right hand corner on any post. It is grayed out until you scroll over it and click it. By the way, here on LoversLab you can also "like" mods.
