FairShibe Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Hello there, first of all I'm not a native english speaker so please don't care too much about my mistakes. So here is my problem, few days ago I decided to mod again my skyrim, I made a fresh clear installation and decided to use Mod Organizer. The problem may rely on my poor knowledge of this mod manager. I got 3 main issues, first my game seems to crash randomly, even when I'm wandering in the wilderness. The second issue is about the body, I installed The All in One HDT body but since I installed the sexy little apparel with the patch for CBBE HDT, I've lost body physics and devious devices are all messed up. The third is more about a feeling, I think scripts are not functionning properly (I mean compared to my previous modded games) : Devious followers dialogues are not showing up, and the Thief quest mod appears to be broken. I guess the second issue is caused by me not understanding how overwrite works in MO. Anyway here is my load order (Made using LOOT) : 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp 6 6 SexLab.esm 7 7 CreatureFramework.esm 8 8 Devious Devices - Assets.esm 9 9 SexLabAroused.esm 10 a Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm 11 b Campfire.esm 12 c Devious Devices - Integration.esm 13 d Devious Devices - Expansion.esm 14 e DogmaEngine.esm 15 f ZaZAnimationPack.esm 16 10 SkyUI.esp 17 11 RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp 18 12 RaceMenu.esp 19 13 RaceMenuPlugin.esp 20 14 SOSRaceMenu.esp 21 15 XPMSE.esp 22 16 SexLabNudeCreatures.esp 23 17 SexLabNudeCreaturesDB.esp 24 18 SexLabNudeCreaturesDG.esp 25 19 MoreNastyCritters.esp 26 1a Schlongs of Skyrim.esp 27 1b SOS - Smurf Average Addon.esp 28 1c SOS - VectorPlexus Muscular Addon.esp 29 1d SOS - VectorPlexus Regular Addon.esp 30 1e 12FemaleBrows.esp 31 1f HDT Havok Object.esp 32 20 UIExtensions.esp 33 21 AddItemMenu2.esp 34 22 FNIS.esp 35 23 Bijin NPCs.esp 36 24 Bijin Warmaidens.esp 37 25 Bijin Wives.esp 38 26 SimplyKnock.esp 39 27 Dogma - Thief.esp 40 28 RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp 41 29 SexLab-Stories.esp 42 2a HentaiCreatures.esp 43 2b sanguinesDebauchery.esp 44 2c SL Survival.esp 45 2d SexLabSkoomaWhore.esp 46 2e SimpleSlavery.esp 47 2f Frostfall.esp 48 30 DeviousFollowers.esp 49 31 KS Hairdos - HDT.esp 50 32 SexLab_Dialogues.esp 51 33 The Seven Wonders of Leyenda.esp 52 34 SexLab-StoriesDevious.esp 53 35 SlaveTats.esp 54 36 SlaveTatsEventsBridge.esp 55 37 Bathing in Skyrim - Main.esp 56 38 Sexlab - Cum Overlays.esp 57 39 SLSW Addicted.esp 58 3a Apropos2.esp 59 3b DW.esp 60 3c PetCollar.esp 61 3d SexLab Strapon.esp 62 3e WetFunction.esp 63 3f Private Needs.esp 64 40 PeeAndFart.esp 65 41 NPCPrivateNeeds.esp 66 42 SLAdv_GoldWeight.esp 67 43 SLAdventures.esp 68 44 zzLSAR.esp 69 45 Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp 70 46 ccas_starts.esp My SKSE and my FNIS are up to date and I cleaned the ITM using TES5edit. DUBALADO Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 SexLabNudeCreatures DB.DG.esp are not necessary to have installed MoreNastyCritters.esp
Grey Cloud Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Random crashes to desktop are usually caused by memory problems. If you are not using them already, then: Crash Fixes https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/ SKSE Plugin Preloader https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75795/ And ENBoost (not needed if you are using an ENB. https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost Download button is down at the bottom of the page. http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0366.htm Installing these correctly will eliminate most CTDs 1 hour ago, FairShibe said: The second issue is about the body, I installed The All in One HDT body but since I installed the sexy little apparel with the patch for CBBE HDT, I've lost body physics and devious devices are all messed up What do you mean by 'all messed up'? I don't use DD mods and I don't know the Thieves Guild mod so I can't help there. I don't use MO either. You should uninstall your outdated version of MNC and install the latest SLAL version. 1 hour ago, FairShibe said: The All in One HDT body Which body? Leyenda's? 1 hour ago, FairShibe said: 31 1f HDT Havok Object.esp Which mod requires this?
FairShibe Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 Okay, I fixed most of these issues. Most of them were caused by my poor knowledge of ModOrganizer, I still have CTD's tho, but I guess this is a consequence of my poor setup. I still have issues with my bodies but I'm pretty sure I can figure it out. Anyway, thanks for your help.
Nazzzgul666 Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Tp give you a hint at least: MOs overwrite is actually more transparent than other mod managers imho, you need to check the left side. There are signs like +, _ and a flash. + means this mod overwrites something, _ means parts of this mod is overwritten by something flash means this mod is entirely overwritten and therefore redundant. You can double click each of those signs, go to the conflict tab and check the exact files. If you want to change what overwrites what, you can change the order by drag and drop, further down will let the mod win the conflict. (Note: only if the sorting is by priority which it is by default, just make sure you didn't change it to alphabetical order or something. If you didn't touch that it'll be fine.) Thief mod: it's known to be... vulnerable to script lag. Actually applies to a couple of mods but it's one of the few where it's really important because otherwise quests get stuck. So it's recommended to play it with a pretty much minimum load order regarding other script mods, although you can always try to reload a save and do the same part again. It might also help to reduce the frequency of scripts running, i.e. change settings in mods like SL aroused and creature framework (and some others) how often they update/scan etc. But honestly, since it has only a few requirements i'd recommend to create a new profile, reduce the amount of mods to the basics (i.e requirements + body mod + some outfits you really want to have), start a new game, play it and then go back to your main save. It's an awesome mod and totally worth it, but there's really no reason to play it with a big load order imho. Most other mods wouldn't do anything in the best case or conflict in worst case.
FairShibe Posted January 24, 2019 Author Posted January 24, 2019 Thanks for your advices, I disabled thief and my game seems to run more smoothly. Do you know an efficient way to detect conflicts between mods or to predict their impact on the game (memory used, assets loaded, etc...) ? I guess it can be done by looking into the code but I don't have time for that.
