solitude guards attack everyone

[ehhhhhhhhhhh]

whenever i visit solitude the guards instantly start attacking anyone they see. the guards outside the city are fine, and its only solitude guards that do this

If that is your load order it needs LOOT running on it for a start.

Your problem is probably caused because some mod has changed the factions.

 

First, make a test in a NEW GAME. If problem persist, disable mod's until the problem disappear.

 

If your problem not happend in a NEW GAME is stored in the savegame.

Think on start a NEW GAME and delete all yours savegames.

The factions are to complex, the game make a lot of things with it and is hard repair it with console comands.

So you're telling us guards attack everyone if you disable every single mod and start a new game then it still happens?

Have you disabled ALL yours mod's??? That can NOT happen in a vanilla game.

I remember a mod that starts a fight with the guards if you collide with them but I do not remember the name now. I thought the same as you, something is wrong in the game, but my problem was caused by a mod because I ALWAYS go running and accidentally i collide with the guards.

yeah i disabled all my mods. i did have cwo at one point, but i uninstalled it awhile ago. apparently it had a similar problem where guards become hostile

k, i think i got it

 

there was an older version of alternate start that i didn't uninstall, after i got rid of that the guards work fine. i started a new save, so ill see if they become hostile again later in my playthrough. thanks for the help

Alternate Start - Live Another Life has been updated in july 2017 and the updates are for good motives.

Same with USLEEP updated in abril of THIS year 2018.

If you have the older versions is recomended get the NEW versions.

If you haven't yet, let me suggest that you try disabling Classic Classes and Birthsigns. It's an old and unsupported mod and may very well be what is causing other mods to not recognize factions properly.

This log NOT come from a game whitout mod's and have near 50Mb of size.

This log with 853k lines is totally unusefull because 836k lines come from ONE and only ONE dump stack.

Your machine need 10 seconds for generate the dump and your game must be frozen for 10 seconds.

You MUST notice it. Frozen the game for 10 seconds is VERY NOTICEABLE.

 

Is the first time is see a dump of near 50mb... what mod's have you?

Have you any idea about what is:

The error appear 92k times.

Following your mod list is Holds.esp=1 but you must verify it.

pretty sure that was from classic classes. already uninstalled that and started a new game after, still had the same problem.

i just tried again and noticed that my game froze for a bit, probably generating the dump like you said.

God to know. As I said, those things do not happen in vanilla and should be caused by a mod. Locating it is not easy and it requires disabling many mods and doing many tests, but it is the only really effective way.

hey yall, the guards are fine, but ive still been having some trouble with patrols. imperial, alik'r and vigilants will all attack me on sight even on a completely new save. same as the guards, they also go for any other npc in the area, not just me.
