Grey Cloud Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Just reinstalled RZ ENB and now getting this lighting effect. I can't catch it with a screenshot but it is an intense sapphire blue flickering from candles and lanterns. The big moon gives of a non-flickering version and holding a firebolt spell gives off a bright light. And don't get me started about the detect life spell. Overall lighting is great indoors and out. Hopefully just a setting to alter?
xwhiteninjax Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 have you tried different d3d9.dll-versions? like the latest 0.349 or an elder one? Is the effect the same? and reading the homepage of the RZ ENB maybe your loadorder has changed? just some ideas reading your post...
GenioMaestro Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Evident is an ilumination problem... revise the compatility of yours ilumination mod's with RZ ENB.
xwhiteninjax Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 another trial would be an enb-color-changing mod like "revoLUTion" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92833 . Really amazing changes with one click (using Caffeine, but the author claims, this should work with other enb's, too)

I know it is an illumination problem. I was already using RZ ENB, I've just reinstalled it and my only lighting mods are Relighting Skyrim and NLA.

The load order hasn't changed, I just came out of the game dragged everything from the archive, over wrote all and went back in. It appears to be some sort of reflection issue rather than 'light' itself. This is in one of the falmer places - absolutley wrecking my eyes. 1st person seems better than 3rd person. Even outside 3rd person is as if your are looking through a lens with some sort of effect around the edges or you have raindrops on your specs.

Reveal hidden contents thats, why there are "updates"... for ENB it is best, to use the original ENB from the dev-site (only, if the mod-author build a special ENB for a special version it would be an exception)... so go for http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.html and get the newest enbfiles.... and give the mentioned enb-expansion "revolution" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92833 ) a trial... there are over 50 presets (even fantasy-ones like RZ) with just one click inside the enb-settings ingame-style... (shadow-window, first line click opens a dropdownmenu, very impressive)... hope you will find your best look

I followed the instructions of the RZ ENB author for installing his ENB mod. I have been using this ENB for a few months without this problem. The problem only manifested this afternoon after I reinstalled the ENB. I don't need 'a pack of color presets to be used with an ENB to add some diversity to your screenshots'. I just need someone to point me at the settings or whatever which could be causing this.
