Best Mods for Immersive Experience?

Every time I play with sexlab installed I get distracted by sexlab and eventually bored because I'm not really playing the game. Still if I play without sexlab I often wish it was there. I would like to do a proper playthrough, focusing on the game itself and completing quests, but with sex just being a part of that world existing in the background. No crazy over the top mods that put the focus on sex, nothing that's going to be constantly polling the background while I'm fighting bandits or exploring dungeons, but just something that makes the world feel more alive.

 

I should also mention that I usually play as male, though typically bisexual and open to encounters of all kinds. I'm not into creature sex at all, and for this particular playthrough I'd like to avoid rape or combat sex mods (ex. Defeat). Amorous Adventures and such are fun but also not what I'm going for this time around as going after sex wouldn't be my character's main focus. Still, an adventurer has needs and since I'd like to use an eat/drink/sleep mod this time around (I usually don't because I find them tedious but I found one I'd like to try), it makes sense that the Dragonborn might also want to blow off some stress from time to time, right?

 

I'd mostly like to be able to head to a tavern at the end of a long day of adventuring and bed down with an interested party, and also be able to encounter NPCs having sex from time to time. I remember on my very first SL playthrough when I got to Kynesgrove the innkeeper was having sex with Roggi. After they finished her husband came in and spouted off his usual background chatter which makes him seem like the kind of guy who would happily cheat on his wife, while Roggi isn't amused by his sexist jokes. It felt really immersive to imagine she and Roggi were secretly having an affair because her husband is an inattentive jerk and I really liked the character that added to the world. But then the more I went down the sexlab rabbit hole adding other mods the more my game got messed up with scripts and stuff and I don't think I really encountered NPCs just randomly pairing up like that again.

 

Based on mods I've used before I think the must-haves would be Aroused, SLEN, Lover's Comfort and something like Sexlife to make NPCs have sex. A mod that would let NPCs approach me and ask to hook up would also be nice but I'm not sure I know of any, usually I have to use something like SLEN to proposition them instead. I don't particularly want any kind of prostitute mod, but just random NPCs in taverns and such finding my PC attractive and asking to hook up would be nice. Any other recommendations for simple, immersive ways to have sex be a part of the world, but not the focus of the game? Some more vanilla-style animation recommendations would also be helpful, aside from the built-in ones I use M2M and FunnyBizness animations, but the latter are mostly aggressive and aren't really a great fit.

Aside from Sexlife you mentioned above,

• Scent of Sex (requiring some time to leaan how to make rules for sex you would like to happen)
• Sexlab Approachjpplus (in Japanese: you may be able to find translations somewhere in the original Approach's LL forum)

are the closest ones you're looking for as NPC-NPC/ NPC-PC interactions, I assume.

 

As for quasi-framework, The following may be worth checking for

• Sexlab Privacy by Vinfamy: especially for the combination of NPC-NPC random 'interaction' mods without breaking 'immersiveness'.
• Sexlab Tools by Goubo: for switching many additional animations smoother/ cumming outside option
• SLSO: Sexlab Separate Orgasm LE by Ed86 and his Shrines Add-on: (focuses too much on sexual acts?). 
• Fertility Mode by Narue: You should be more careful not to make your partners pregnant (compatible with male players/ lightweight). NPC-NPC acts aware and SLSO compatible.  Works even without Sexlab/ Flowergirl SE (a sort of black-out inseminations).

 

As for vanilla-style additional animations, I'd recommend the following SLAL packs for consensual non-creatures:

• Leito v 1.6 (including bestiality)
• Ayasato
• (New NCK30 Animations)

Thank you both for the help. I didn't even know about the Japanese version of Approach, I had tried the original a few years ago and it felt a little buggy. It also seems to have NPC-NPC options so I might not need an extra mod like Sexlife to do that. I think I'll go with ApproachJPPlus and Privacy along with Aroused. Also thank you for the animation suggestions, I had Leito's but never seen the others before, those plus Nibbles' anims mentioned in the other thread should be everything I need. Thank you again!
