asdfa94 Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 I have a strange issue where whenever a Bikini Armor from TAWoBA breaks the game crashes, any other vanilla armor can break without issue tho. I also noticed when I drop a Bikini Armor piece it doesn't properly fall to the ground but instead just floats there and I thought that might be causing it?

I would give up on one of them if I were you. I think it's because both use a similar mechanic for amending items, that is to remove them from the player then add a new one. MW&A does this when adding it's fitment and condition stats (I think, Monoman may correct me on that) and I don't remember at which point TAWoBA does it but I do recall being stuck in a loop of receiving multiples of an armour piece until it decided I couldn't carry anymore and started to fill up Whiterun before CTD. Also, any armour piece requires a valid world mesh in case it is dropped/broken. If it doesn't have one it will cause MW&A to craash along with your game, which I expect is what is happening to you. Drop all the pieces of your bikini armour, 1 at a time, to see which piece(s) cause the CTD. The take a look at the item in xEdit Under Armor there should be something for Male World Model  If there isn't or even if there is but you are still getting CTD's when this item is dropped then replace it with one of the GND.nif files from a vanilla armour/clothing item.

Testing it out though, I've noticed an issue where my game doesn't CTD, but instead freezes when going through a loading door, (I've been testing with entering / exiting buildings in Riverwood) and also randomly while traveling throughout the world. After removing all of the heavier script based mods from my load order to troubleshoot, I've narrowed it down to this mod, specifically the 0.45 version in SSE. Maybe I'm missing some load order positioning or there's known incompatibilities? I run a very light modlist gameplay-wise, pretty much only Simonrim and a few light SL and economy mods. Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing happens with SDs intro to sanguine. Drop the same item manually from your inventory without mwa and id bet you'll crash...  Mwa highlights poor world meshes because rarely does the player normally drop items. Theyre usually either stashed or sold (containers)

Leodriz Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 (edited) Hi, I like this mod but I have problem. When I add "armors" through AddIteMenu or through consol i get CTD if I have MWA activated. I'm not entirely sure how everything works internally because I don't make mods myself, but if I can enter and exit a building, then walk back in only to see a black screen, then I would think there must be something besides a bad mesh causing it, because then it would crash every time, not just randomly. I'll do a bit more testing to see if any mod specifically is causing it, but not really sure where there could be a conflict.

Seems to work ok, but the lag/script heavyness? can cause small issues if I recall, takes some tuning I think. I'd turn it on after any important intro/startup to avoid quest stuff from being broken maybe. Not sure if I got it working smoothly and just have it off for startup or not. Worth a try, as there aren't really any better options that I know of.

Suke23 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Not sure if Monomon is still around but if any one knows but I am having an issue when my items become damaged I the blacksmith just takes my gold and doesn't return the item. The other options for refitting and adjusting durability etc work fine it's only when they have to repair damaged items he never returns it. Just takes the gold.

calvin_0 Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 i always want to use this, but i always forgot why i cant use this... i cant rename equipment once i use this... so this make keeping track of enchantment gear is a little pain in the butt...  that said, too bad that this mod is no longer in development... imagine how cool is it if this mod can destroy equipped gear once you transform into werewolf or vampire lord... it would be really immersive =D

pingbi146 Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 I know Mono doesn't support this anymore but maybe others have ideas, Recently [After a clean re-install of skyrim se] weapons explode after like 7 swings, changing degredation settings doesn't seem to matter, every use subtracts 1 durability no matter what, is there some way to fix that? Weapons used to last at least a full dungeon if they were full health before.

Spell can be charged to higher levels if you have better destruction perks and the magicka to do so.  C) Removed MWAs processing of slot 61 due to technical reasons (wrap around issues).  D) Mcm options.  Edit: Forgot MXPF step. so this mod has a version up to 2.0.4 where is the download file for that version ? Honestly i don't really know most of the time what to do with them and i don't like to litter them everywhere, because i walk around a lot and therefore cells don't reset that regularly. I really want a way to do something useful with that, even if it's only for very little or a bad material drop chance.
