Aeonuser Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 So, I finally reinstalled skyrim, installed my mods taking care to read descriptions, compatibilities, I even did the whole TESV Edit thing everyone kept telling me to do since I got Skyrim 5 years ago, I got LOOT, did the SKYRIM.ini shit, added an ENB, My Skyrim had NEVER been so fucking stable as it is now, believe me, I was amazed when I could play for 5 hours with no CTD. I was ready to play and for a while, I did. Doing the Dawnguard quests right now. But then I decided I wanted to level up my enchanting. I go to the enchanting table and when I press E to use it, my character just stands there. No animation, no anything, just stands there and doesn't do anything. I realize I can still move it around, so, I press E again. Camera moves, but character just stands there. Again. I realize I can't zoom in/zoom out in 3rd person, and I can't go into First person either. Camera issue solved itself after I walked aroud a bit and after I triggered a killmove. But then I realized the same issue happened when I tried sitting at an Inn and when I tried using the Alchemy Table. I decided to go to the Qasmoke and test, but I realized I can't use the workbench, smelter, smithing, well... Anything requiring an animation to begin. I tried cleaning up my animation reg. on SexLab, but I doubted it would help (It didn't, why would it? it only served to make me wonder why I even have it installed, since I'm honestly [shocking, I know] just playing the game.) I went to the Main Menu and tried the Qasmoke again (no save, just coc from the main menu) and it seemed to work just fine. I tried google, but most issues related to said furniture don't apply to me (Tried a few solutions anyway, didn't work. At least not ingame solutions, haven't tried any others). I haven't done sufficient testing with my issue as of now, It only just happened recently and I didn't have enough time to dwell balls deep into it. I just wanted to play Skyrim, you know?. Would be a shame to dump that save file. Been a while since I've played this game. Even if I do, I come to thee in search for the cause so that I may avoid this issue in the future. Only things I've installed after beginning my save are the Modern Brawl Bug Fix (Kinda forgot to install it) and the SG Hair pack. I haven't uninstalled anything, but I have disabled some things, according to LOOT's suggestions. PPD: Also, my character's boobs grow after I do some fighting. showracemenu and going into body scales -> boobs and doing any change resets it and stops it from changing for the duration of the play session. It's unrelated, but If anyone has any leads on the cause I'd appreciate it. I would not like to make two threads just for this issue I already have a workaround. EDIT: player.tai successfully restored the animations. Tested in the Qasmoke. Will do further testing to attempt to reproduce the original problem just for reference. Current suspect is that an animation did not end adequately. Probably related to sexlab. Will edit again if I manage to confirm this.
Grey Cloud Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 For the 'E' key not working and the growing tits I would look through all the MCMs. Maybe one of your mods has hijacked the E and there are several mods which can alter breast size in-game. I would look at Untamed and the various Succubus things you have there. Does the E work when talking to people or sitting on a chair, etc. In other words is it the crafting which isn't working or the E. One thing you didn't mention there was FNIS. Have you installed and run it? And don't forget to run it and LOOT every time you make any changes. I always run FNIS even if I don't need to. Better to do what doesn't need doing than to forget to do what does. (Just spotted it in the load order). A couple of general points. Several of your animaton packs are loading before the animation loader. Which SG Hair mod are you using? I'm wondering why it puts 6 esps in there. I use SG Hair Pack 268 and only have one esp. My AddItemMenu shows as AddItemMenu2.esp. My curiousity. What mod are 120 78 RidiculousDelphine.esp and 121 79 RidiculousCWElisif.esp from? Google drew a blank.

I see nothing in your load order that screams "I am the culprit." Sadly, that means you have to do this the hard way. Remove the 10 mods you least want to keep or you think may be most likely to have caused this problem and then start a new game. If the problem persists eliminate 10 more (do NOT add back any mods until your game is stable). Rinse and repeat. When you get to the 10 that you eliminated that seemed to contain the problem add them back until you find what has given you the problem and leave it out of your load order. Be judicious in adding back the other mods. Don't forget that as often as not it is a conflict between mods and not "a" mod that is the problem. Remember that Skyrim modding is a lot like good cooking. It requires the right ingredients (make sure your mods don't interfere with each - many mod authors post known conflicts and make certain that you have all the requirements for the mods you do have). It requires patience (you can't rush good food or a stable Skyrim load order). It can be seasoned to taste (I doubt that there are two people with modded Skyrim games who have identical load orders). Finally, no matter how much you love them individually, some foods (and mods) just don't mix. ?️ ?

Of course I have and have run FNIS, this ain't my first rodeo. I have run Loot to sort the load order after I installed my mods. As for the SG... I had donwloaded one of the first versions, I kept most of the Mods I downloaded back in my "I don't care, just download all the mods" days. I downloaded the latest version but haven't added it yet. Still, I doubt the hair mod has anything to do with this (but who knows?) Which animation packs are you referring? So I may move them. (Do I need to?) Remember that Skyrim modding is a lot like good cooking. It requires the right ingredients (make sure your mods don't interfere with each - many mod authors post known conflicts and make certain that you have all the requirements for the mods you do have). It requires patience (you can't rush good food or a stable Skyrim load order). It can be seasoned to taste (I doubt that there are two people with modded Skyrim games who have identical load orders). Finally, no matter how much you love them individually, some foods (and mods) just don't mix. ?️ ? I don't believe it's a mod actually. And this method may not yield ressults. As I said, I used coc qasmoke from the main menu to begin a game without doing a new game to test. It seemed to work. I do not want to remove mods unless I have no choice, since I know removing mods may cause instability in my game. And like I said, I am actually playing instead of just fucking around like I used to, so I'd hate to lose my current save.

LOOT should be run every time you you change your load order, not just when you are setting it up. Please do point me to those you're talking about. Alright, I'll check the link you sent. I'll try to edit my main post if I find the culprit. Maybe tomorrow though, won't be having much time to play around with the mods today. Checking that post though, most likely I started some sexlab animation (Can't remember when, I seriously haven't even used those features this playtrough) and it didn't end properly. Or maybe a killmove?. Anyway, thanks for the help. I think I can work this out from now.

Not all errors fixed are bad it just a huge collection of what bothered people in Skyrim.. never found a issue that I could not work around so I do not use USLEEP I have tried it I just don't use it again not everything needs fixed. Some people use old patches see link above and overwriting and conflicting with USLEEP. I have found due diligence to be the smartest tool in making a stable Skyrim ....patches and overwriting can and will cause a unstable game that can not be disputed.
