Crashing and freezing at certain points

After my most recent binge of modding I found a couple of problems getting any kind of game going. The main issue is the occasional crash to desktop that often happens a few minuets in to the game caused when I enter the level/item menu. It often works at first once I've just started but I always seem to get to a point where it causes a crash the moment I press the button.  Then if I try to reload any saves I made in that short time it crashes straight out of the loading screen.

Another thing that happens is that when ever I go near Riverwood from the angle you would normally come from in the vanilla start the game always seems to freeze when the village is just in sight. I have also tried starting in the village itself (using the Live another life mod) and the same thing happens when I leave the village through that route. (this might caused by the same thing as the above problem).

So I was wondering if anyone might be able to identify which mod(s) might be causing this or tell me if there in there that might conflict with one another

I've attached my current mod list and load order,

and applied loot before starting the game, saying there where no conflicts or missing dependencies it could find

I have no idea of what is causing YOUR crash but, as someone who spends a good deal of time on the Technical Discussion threads, I can tell you that the SexLab Nude Creature mods have caused many people problems. The mods are outdated (replaced with the More Nasty Critters SLAL edition). So, at best these mods are not doing you any good and at worst they are causing your crashes.

And check if the auto save funtion for the menu is activated, I had a lot of problems with auto save on rest, travel, sleep and entering the menu....

Try Crash Fixes and see if that helps. Sometimes your autosaves become corrupt and the only thing to do is go back to a hard save- make them often when testing a new mods. I never thought I needed Crash Fixes myself, but, then I ran into a problem similar to yours and it fixed it. I couldn't see your mod list so I will just suggest learning how to use TESVEdit and Wryebash for a more stable game in general.

One more thing- my game has about 12,000 animations- this will cause problems loading directly into your last save. There are a couple of ways to work around this.

You have a few problems there.

You need to run LOOT on those mods.

You have a lot of mods which are adding a lot of content to your game.

I don't think that running daymol and Defeat is recommended. I think Defeat is the more popular choice.

SLNC has already been mentioned. Realistic Ragdolls can go as XPMSE skeleton does ragdolling. I can't see XPMSE in your load order but I'm assuming you use it? (Please say yes).

You have 15 esps giving unique outfits to NPCs who you will rarely see. Not a problem per se, but why? Why waste the slots and the resources?

Okay, I'll have a shot at removing some of these to say if that makes a difference.

I actually assumed that daymol was a dependency for defeat rather than an alternative. While with the outfits since they seems to be standalone I assumed the would have not real impact on the games performance. The Skeleton I am using is XP32 MS, I do have the file for XPMSE but uninstalled it since a while back when I was having a different problem with characters models coming out badly I was told in to forums that it might have been the cause due to being designed for the Legendary edition.

Right then,

Removing those unnecessary mods does seem to have improved the game quite a lot now, with the freeze just outside of Riverrun gone and so has the crash when I enter the menu after playing for a few minuets. So thanks guys, your advice helped quite a lot.

The game is still far from perfect with a couple of crashes and errors that happen when the defeat mod is running. With my character becoming stuck in the surrender position once it has triggered with the enemies performing their SL animations to thin air. Then once they are done they just stand around doing nothing.
