Bondage Position Animations v01.00

 

Credits:
The whole LL modding community, to whom I feel I owe something in return, but especially Kimy, Vader, Min, Guobu, Zaz, and all the other folks who have worked on Skyrim and FO4 mods here over the years.

Shadeanimator, for the indispensible FO4 animation tutorials.


Summary:

This is not a finished mod, it is just a pack of animations and assets for modders or end users to integrate into existing mods. I have not included an esp/esm, since I figure any modder who is going to be working with these already has a set of 'test animation' files linked in an esp that they can use. If this is a serious issue for mod designers, I can make an esm with all the animations in it, but that will complicate mod development more than just pointing your own esm files to these animations. These are all intended for use with the default CBBE body. They may clip with other bodies.

Permissions:
You are free to use any of the animations in this pack, with the following conditions:
- Do not post them to sites outside of LL without asking me. Basically, don't be that person who puts this up on Nexus or Bethesda.net...

- You cannot charge for mods that contain these animations. If you have an optional payment, that's fine, as long as users who don't pay get the same functionality


The contents of this pack:


Each animation has an hkx file that has been tested in-game and should work. Note that the default arm position for all poses is the armbinder position from my bondage devices pack, but the arm position should be overridden by any bondage gear, based on your '...injury.hkx' files. That means that, in theory at least, any of these animations should work with any cuffs, armbinders, etc.

All animations are 300 frames long (should be exactly 10 seconds) and start and end in the common pose for that animation family (e.g. all hogtie animations start and end in the same position). Each family has an 00 pose that is a breathing idle, followed by one or more struggle animations.

Plans:

- I may redraft some of the existing animations at some point.

- I'm working on some additional positions (sitting with legs in front, spreadeagled, kneeling), but the joints on the CBBE model are...tempermental. If I can make animations I'm happy with that don't have terrible clipping at the joints, I'll release them in an update.

 Great work and thank you Gray User!!!

These seems really nice!

And I have a question ,I am using DD right now,lots of  NPCs got captured by my handcuffs or yokes seems good at first,but when there is a engagement some of them could suddenly equipped with her own weapons and break the restraints,and those handcuffs look like some stupid bracelets...

Will this mod make this kind of situation change?

Thank you very much for this, Gray User.  I've been wanting some good struggle animations like this but I have absolutely no capability in using these kinds of things.  I apologize if this is stupid or I missed another relevant forum but how can you implement these in game as an end user/non-modder? Any help from anyone would be amazing and thanks in advance.

I decided to play around with the new Position Tree stuff from AAF so I made a plugin and AAF XML files that will allow you to play these animations in game.

 

The attached file can be installed using a mod manager or manually.  It includes the esp, the AAF xml files, and the directory structure in which to place the animation files.  It does not include the actual animation files - you have to drag the .hkx files from Gray User's archive into Data\Meshes\Character\Animations\Bondage Position Animations.

 

To use it, open the AAF wizard and select any of the 4 GrayUser selections.  Each selection is a position tree containing all of the animations of that family (facedown, hogtie, etc).  You can cycle through the position tree with the right/left arrow keys.  There is no bondage equipment included with these, but they look good if the actor is equipped with gear from Devious Devices or Torture Devices.

Better version attached.  This has 8 positions in the AAF wizard.  The ones with "Tree" in the name are the same as in the original above, and let you step through the individual animation stages.  The ones with "Staged" in the name will automatically play all of the stages of each animation in a continuous loop.

 

Really hope Gray User doesn't mind me cluttering his forum with these.  I am just trying to get a hang of the AAF animation XML files and this is a good opportunity to both do that and provide a way for regular users to enjoy these animations.

You sir are awesome. Feel free to create a package with and esp, etc. and post it as a file. That is exactly my intent - I've been focused on animating, and haven't gotten around to learning FO4's animation handling, scripting, etc, and I was hoping that someone who has been working on those aspects of the game would pick these up and do something with them.

What is the exact text of the error you are seeing, and what are you doing when you see it?  There is no position tree called "Tree 10" in this mod.

Looks like the mod is not fully installed.  That error will happen if GrayUserBP_positionTreeData.xml is missing from your Data\AAF folder.

 

I would just reinstall the mod, letting it overwrite anything it asks about.
