Locksoli Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Title is as stated. Merchant npcs wont use certain animations, they'll simply stand around in an idle animation. Examples include blacksmiths not working their smithies, barkeeps, general merchants and stall owners not leaning on their bar/stalls/tables, and the like. I also did a test with loading a clean save after activating my plugins, using alvor from riverwood as a test subject. During the schedule, he will leave his house and go to his forge. When going up the stairs to his forge, he will stop about halfway and do the idle animation. Tried uninstalling mods and using LOOT to fix load order (though it seems to not be sorting correctly at some points), nothing so far has helped. If the problem disapear in a NEW GAME must forget all your saves, as your say, clean it not work. If the problem continue in a NEW GAME is a mod problem. Can be a collision or a bad mod like: Moonlight Tales Special Edition.esp Maybe you must use the 32 bits version: Moonlight Tales SE for Skyrim EDIT: i take a look at the contents of Moonlight and the esp is called equal. Be sure you are ussing the correct.

Be sure you are ussing the correct. Tried it with alternate start, no dice. Also, there is no other version of moonlight tales SE for Skyrim, that is the only version. The situation with my current save is that I've just finished the intro, and I'm activating my mods after getting to riverwood, and now I'm sure it is in fact a mod issue.

Continue disable mods until the problem disapear. Then, slowy start enable mods in group of 5 or 10, not more, until locate the problematic mod.

I will make some suggestions based on the Load Order that you have posted. Get rid of SexLabNude Creatures and the old MNC - Get the MNC for SLAL (SexLab Animations Loader). It is more up-to-date and cleaner. Be careful to carefully follow the directions on the modpage. Get rid of the High Resolution files and patch and get the Vanilla Textures Optimizer from Nexus. This will improve your performance and open up esp slots. I assume you have the XPSME skeleton and have simply turned off the esp (which is fine, in fact, it is good). If you do not have it - get it. If you do have it you can safely eliminate Realistic Ragdolls as that mod is included in the newer versions of XPSME. Then follow GenioMaestro's advice. Look through your modlist carefully and eliminate any mod that you don't absolutely have to have IN THIS PLAYTHROUGH. I would hope that this will get you well under the 100 mods that he recommended. Then, when your game is stable, add mods back 5-10 at a time until you find the one(s) that are giving you the problem and leave them off. Modding Skyrim is like cooking. First, it takes patience (good food can not be rushed). Second it requires the proper ingredients (make sure you have all the prerequisites for your mods and be certain that they are in the proper load order). Third, it can be seasoned to taste (there is IIRC a thread under Skyrim/General Discussion devoted to the topic of what makes your Skyrim playthrough unique). Fourth, and often hardest to take, is that no matter how much you may like two foods individually sometimes they simply don't belong together (and so it is with some mods). ??️

Others players can solve similar problems reading this post or searching it with google the next month.
